Can't recommend Dolce Bakery enough! They have such incredible baked goods and coffee drinks. They are ALWAYS on trend, baking up goodies that fit new movies, reality TV, and viral coffee hits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's got great seating indoors and patio outside that's covered.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always friendly and the vibe is 10/10. Coolest bakery in town!

The cake was disappointing. It was so cute. Tasted frozen. The icing is delicious

The cake was pretty but most likely frozen. The cake tasted ok but it was dissapointing that it wasn't fresher. The icing is delicious & the cake is so cute. However, at 62$ for a 6" cake I'd expect better.

My latte was amazing! I came here from Olathe because I saw promotions about the Birthday Cake latte, however I got the iced Bramble Latte instead. The birthday cake one is premade, meaning you can't customize it (if you prefer fresh, bold espresso, I wouldn't recommend the birthday cake. It's very light/milky). It was OUTSTANDING! The cold foam balances out the bold espresso with a sweet, delicate blackberry flavor. I used to love going to Monarch before it closed, and this is the closest flavor I've found. As for bakery items, we had the orange cinnamon roll and a normal cinnamon roll and they were good as well. They have a fluffy bread texture and the frosting isn't too sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, some use this place to study, so if you are looking for somewhere with outdoor seating for personal work, this is a great place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

i visited their op farmer's market booth! the line was somewhat long BUT the dolce bakery girlies were turning out lattes FAST. i ended up purchasing an iced birthday cake latte and a chocolate chunk cookie. the iced birthday cake latte was very pretty and yummy. i will say the ratio of coffee and icing is off. i ended up brewing another shot of espresso to finish off the icing left in my cup. the cookie was yummy and would go back to try their cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.

Well this place is just an utter delight. The rare combo of baked goods that are insanely cute but also actually delicious. Those iced cookies - the stuff of dreams. And so pop culture timely with offerings like Taylor:Travis and Wicked as well as seasonal offerings. Super friendly team and nice that they offer samples to get a taste of their wider offerings. Wish I was local and could get ALL of my seasonal treats here

Dolce Bakery is such a fun stop and everything we tried was worth it. The pumpkin whoopie pies were soft and full of flavor with just the right amount of spice and cream filling. The brownies were rich and fudgy with that perfect dense texture that makes you want another bite. The Chiefs cookies were not only decorated beautifully but tasted amazing too with a buttery soft center. The staff was friendly and patient while I went back and forth on what to pick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bakery itself feels warm and welcoming and you can tell everything is made with care.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is the kind of place where you leave with a smile and probably a box of extra treats you had not planned on. I would go back again just for those whoopie pies.

As a local I can't believe I have not visited Dolce until today. I stopped in this morning to pick up a box of goodies for a coworkers birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is adorable and the bakery case was mouth watering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything I chose was delicious. The scones were especially tasty! And I am picky about scones! The service was great and patient while I looked over all my options. I noticed they had slices of cake in the case which was appealing. I look forward to going back with my kids for an afternoon treat soon.

This is a delayed review, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dolce Bakery hosted a great seasonal 'Luke's Diner' theme last fall that was very fun with a variety of delicious on point items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the Stars Hallow decor to the themed cookies and specialty drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife, who is an OG Gilmore Girls fan along her mother and daughter, was giddy to say the least. Aside from the themed items, the bakery's staple items cinnamon rolls, and orange rolls are always tasty treats. My personal favorite is the Oatmeal Cream Pies... these are no pies from a box! They have a wide variety of treats, bulk and catering items available.

A great place to get your sweet tooth fix. This an abundance of cookie cutouts you can enjoy. My trip was for the cupcakes, especially the mini ones. The minis is just the right size to pop into your mouth and not feel like you're cheating on your diet. Cupcakes tasted wonderful and more importantly they weren't dry. Lemon cake was just as good

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Dolce bakery has an open layout with pastries, cookies and cakes to the right with seating on left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dominic greeted us and provided good customer service even after he fessed to forgetting adding caramel to my latte. He handled multiple customers in between completing my latte on his own until help arrived from the other young lady. My drink was remade by the young lady as she came out of the back and at first it had the good consistency in flavor but as I sipped it disappeared not due to ice. The peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies are chewy and flavorful.

I ordered Halloween/Fall themed cake and cookies for my daughter's first birthday party. The cookies were so cute and fun especially the Hocus Pocus theme. They were all delicious and we received several compliments on the cookies and the cake! We will definitely be return customers!

Popped in to grab a Butterbeer latte this week and loved the little touches for Harry potter's birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This store goes above and beyond to make your stay cute, and I was enticed to grab pastries to deliver around town to my family![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are not inexpensive, but the desserts are crazy good and the Butterbeer was the best I've had!

I met a friend here and the staff were all so friendly and fun! I thought for sure this would be my new coffeeshop hang, especially for journaling or a lazy Sunday with my husband and the crossword. But by the time I left (90 minutes later), I had changed my mind. It was so ridiculously loud! The noise went way beyond the usual coffeeshop sounds of grinding beans, steam from the espresso machine, and the chatter of customers (which are all expected) . At one point, and I'm not exaggerating, it sounded like an airplane was landing inside the coffeeshop. A horrible, continuous, incredibly loud sound like a jet engine .... And it just wouldn't stop! It went on for several, several minutes. At one point my friend paused our conversation and said "My God, what is that?" It ruined our coffee date and made the experience so unpleasant that we just wrapped up our time together and left. To add insult to injury, when we got outside a car alarm was blaring. That is not Hattie's fault, of course, but it didn't change my impression that this is the loudest coffeeshop on earth. I've been to hundreds of coffeeshops, and I've never experienced a prolonged, wretched, grinding-engine sound like this before. I have no idea what it was. It was so bizarre. I had an Arnold Palmer and breakfast sandwich. The lemonade was too tart, but I could have added more sugar so that's not their fault. The sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was meh, but the pastries looked great (although I didn't have one). Since the staff is wonderful and it is a convenient spot for me, I will go back on a nice day and try the patio. But I can't imagine I will ever try sitting inside again. The search of the perfect coffeeshop continues!

Yes, $9. That's on the expensive side for a latte, so I went in with pretty high expectations. Everything about the experience was quick and efficient. The line moved fast, my drink came out quickly, and I was in and out with no issues. The shop itself seemed like a great place to sit down and get some work done or catch up with a friend. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to sit outside. My first sip immediately stood out because of the texture. It was probably the smoothest coffee I've ever had; silky, creamy, and almost pillowy on the tongue. Unfortunately, that's where most of my praise ends. The coffee itself tasted fine, but nothing about the flavor stood out, especially considering the price. I ordered a vanilla latte, but I couldn't taste any vanilla at all and got virtually no sweetness from the drink. Overall, it's not bad coffee by any means, and the texture was genuinely impressive. But for nearly $9, I expected a lot more flavor. I don't regret trying it, but I wouldn't come back at that price point.

As for the drink-- The pistachio flavor definitely overpowered the hazelnut flavor, but since I love pistachios, I didn't mind it as much as I would typically. Today was my first day using a cane after weeks of weaning myself off of crutches and I was moving pretty slow. As I approached the counter I was looking for a seasonal drink menu to see what unique beverage could kick-start my afternoon. I didn't see one anywhere and asked if they had any seasonal offerings from the barista. She looked puzzled and annoyed and said "here is our syrup list". I stated that I was looking for more of a seasonal drink menu or featured beverages not on the regular menu that most every coffee house offers. In an exasperated tone, she turned around and pointed at the main menu board with all the basics and replied; "This is what we serve". Wow! I politely ordered my go-to cortado for here and left a tip. I then hobbled over to the nearest table to the pick-up counter and waited. A few minutes later the same barista brought the drink to the counter, looked at me an entire 4 feet away and shouted "cortado" and walked away. Wow again! If I was in the business of customer service and receiving tips I would be damn sure to take the beverage to the customer when they're 48 inches away and the shop wasn't busy; regardless of customer mobility issues. I have never asked for a tip back, but I sure felt like it at that moment. My Cortado was tasty, but not enough to remove the foul taste in my mouth from blatant customer disrespect. Here, the strict, timeless geometry of the Left Bank softens into a warm, sun-lit casual elegance, a neighborhood sanctuary where the hum of local politics replaces the brooding silence of the philosopher's corner. It is a space where the Democratic social scene is always in full, effervescent effect, a kinetic theater of ideas where local strategists, organizers, and policy wonks gather over marble tables to debate the future of the state while tearing apart freshly baked croissants. The air thickens not with existential dread, but with the electric, hopeful prose of a collective striving for progress, making it the definitive salon of the modern suburban landscape. The beauty of French Market lies in this seamless blending of civic passion and culinary delight. Every corner of the room feels curated with a benevolent affection, an atmosphere fueled entirely by a staff that can only be described as thoroughly fabulous. From the front counter to the busy kitchen, the team moves with a synchronized, smiling grace that makes every patron feel like the guest of honor at an intimate neighborhood gathering. They navigate the bustling room with a genuine warmth, pouring drinks and delivering plates with an infectious energy that elevates the casual setting into something truly extraordinary. It is a rare, beautiful thing to find a restaurant where the hospitality feels less like a service industry transaction and more like a generous act of civic kinship. On the plate, the market routinely touches the sublime, offering dishes that sing with a clear, poetic precision. The crab cakes are a revelation of coastal longing, packed with sweet, tender lump meat and boasting a delicate, golden sear that yields effortlessly to the fork. Nearby, the croque madame arrives as an opulent, dripping monument to breakfast-time indulgence, a decadent tower of savory ham and melted Gruyère crowned with a perfectly runny egg that coats each bite in a rich, golden velvet. To wash down these triumphs, one must order the French press coffee, a dark, aromatic brew that arrives in a slow, plunging ritual, delivering a bold, robust punch that commands your full attention and jump-starts any morning debate. For all the brilliance on display, it is best to gently bypass the steak frites for the time being, steering clear of the dish until the kitchen source a more premium quality of beef to match their otherwise flawless standards. But this minor detour is easily forgotten the moment you glance toward the pastry case. The desserts here are an absolute, transcendent poetry of sugar and butter, offering delicate tarts and airy confections that are nothing short of sublime. French Market remains a triumphant, essential neighborhood jewel, where the food is exceptional, the people are magnificent, and the conversation never stops flowing.
