So I had to pull up in person. I was instantly greeted by Diego. I'm learning Spanish and in conversation with Diego. He is teaching me how to properly say sentences with patience and kindness while Sol is hard at work preparing the food. He offers me a free agua de pepino on top of that a free refill. The carne asada, al pastor, and pollo is full of flavorful and succulent. The shrimp tacos are big and refreshing. I like how they add salsa verde into the burrito. Mulitas with any of the meats, will be a reason you come back! The vibe is warm and welcoming, They have tables and chairs if you choose to eat there, which I recommend with mulitas. The salsa bar has many different salsas as well as grilled onion and jalapeño. This is what this area needs, family style food made with passion and love. No hay pedo hermano, puro Mexico!

A hardworking husband and his sweet young wife, and their little daughter, are serving up street tacos, coffee, and soft drinks alongside Fair Oaks Blvd, by California. The soft tiny street tortilla was packed with minced steak and was very filling. If you step inside the storefront, there is a large dining room with many simple tables and chairs . Yes the walls are plain white. It feels like small town Mexico, a relief from the ubiquitous cloned franchise fast food sameness which has stolen American restaurant uniqueness in every town. There is a space heater you can turn on for warmth and enjoy the friendly family, making their start in business here, by offering locals authentic Mexican food.. I'll be checking back in and hope this family business will make it .

John and his team have your hot dogs covered for your dining pleasure in western Placer County. It's mid afternoon, Saturday, June 07, 2025, and I'm enjoying the Rocklin Brewfest 2025 and I'm in the mood for a delicious hot dog. I've come to the right place, as Doggiestyle Hot Dogs was on site, and serving hot dogs for all to enjoy. This is a pop-up restaurant that servers hot dogs at events all over western Placer County. I went with a "Quarter Pound Nathan Dog," How can you beat that for a great hot dog? The dog began with a quarter pound Nathan's Hot Dog, which was grilled to perfection by hot dog chef John, on site, at the Rocklin Brewfest. The dog was simply perfect, and fitted perfectly with the large, fresh bun, which was a start for an amazing lunch. On to the condiments! The trip to the nearby condiment bar was worthwhile, as I added a cornucopia of condiments, including mustard, mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, chopped white onion, sauerkraut and especially peperoncini, which is a rare treat for hot dogs. I suppose you could call my hot dog loaded? No ketchup whatsoever, as I never desecrate a hot dog by adding ketchup. Not to mention... may I say my dog was loaded with delicious condiments? One bite into the dog I was rewarded with a refreshing "snap," thanks to the natural casing on Nathan's Hot Dog, which made the hot dog both worthwhile and simply delicious. The condiments I added simply enhanced the dog, and didn't take anything away from the amazing hot dog, and the fresh bun. Such a delicious hot dog! Chef John knows how to grill a hot dog, and the Nathan's Hot Dog he grills are as good as it gets. I tip my cowboy hat to chef John, and his delicious hot dogs! Five star dining for all of you who love a delicious hot dog.
