Its best to get everyone in and out and back home. I think this store is adding to the public health crisis by having everyone stand outside. Prince George county where this store is located has instituted that if you go in public you must have a face mask. This should be sufficient. This is the only reason why I gave 4 stores instead of 5.

What a stupid mistake, especially since this plaza was a bit wonky. I came in here to honestly grab some essentials that I didn't necessarily have to have, but since I was out, why not get what I need and be done with it. Even though it was busy in here, I was still able to find what I needed and not feel rushed about it. However, when it came to checking out, there was a larger than expected line. I didn't mind, I was here for a reason, to waste some time and get some items. I had my airpods in and was minding my business. Get to the head of the line at the self checkout area and had the most pleasant discussion with the lady manning the area. She should be in a different line of work. Approaching people and just having a leisurely conversation with them. She had a gift which made for a nice end of a shopping trip.

Expectedly, this was 5x more busy than Target.

Well, wouldn't you know, that 'W' grocery that I love so much didn't have the item (dried porcini mushrooms) I was looking for recently, and rather than giving up and ordering from the big 'A' (two day prime shipping? I want it today!), I found it at Giant. And only for slightly more! This is ones of those groceries where you must sign up for a loyalty card to get the sale price, so if that bugs you, stay away. And they really should designate a self-checkout lane to GenX/Millennials only, but other than that, a good selection, moderate prices, and competent staff for the win!

She sarcastically apologized, but that's not a great way to treat your customers. it's really crap especially people that shop there every single day. So if you guys wanna shop here, it's great. Just don't don't talk to management. They will tear you down, get loud and make a scene. They will blame you personally for all their broken carts all broken parts and sarcastically say have a nice day as if you were a problem they were happy to see leave. But today I lucked up and found the Blueberry Cheesecake croissants that I was looking for, a few weeks ago! The bakery finally got the molds to make them and I hope these are here to stay! *inserts yelpie foodie dance* You get a pack of 8 for $13 and it's a great buy! Came home popped one in the air fryer for about 3 mins and boy oh boy! I shared with my hubbie- but next time I'll just warm 2....hahahaaa!!!! Can't wait to try the strawberry and cheese one that's trending :)))) I guess when you least expect something boom something magical happens haaaaa! I own three homes across the US, and one of them is only four miles from the Woodmore Costco. I am…read morea frequent Costco customer, purchasing gas, groceries, prescriptions, tires, batteries, and other household items. I have shopped at Costco stores all over the country, and I can honestly say the Woodmore location is, without question, the worst Costco I have ever visited. The problem isn't limited to one department or one bad experience. Whether I'm buying groceries, using the pharmacy, purchasing gas, or visiting the tire center, the customer service is consistently poor. Even checking out has become an unpleasant experience. I usually use self-checkout because I'm simply trying to get in and out as quickly as possible, yet the employees often seem uninterested in helping customers. Too many are rude, indifferent, inhospitable, and behave as though assisting customers is an inconvenience. What is going on at this store? Why is there such a dramatic difference between Woodmore and virtually every other Costco location I've visited? Employees have a job to do, and basic courtesy, professionalism, and a willingness to help customers should be expected. Tonight was the final straw. I stopped by to pick up a prescription, only to discover the pharmacy had already closed at 7:00 p.m. While I was there, I purchased three cases of water. At self-checkout, my receipt printed completely blank. I asked a young employee for assistance. After several minutes, he slowly made his way over, yelled "SUB," and waited. No one responded. After about five minutes, he told me to walk across the store to a customer service desk that wasn't even staffed. I refused because there was clearly no one there. I then noticed a female employee standing near the cashiers talking with other employees. I waved, thinking she was coming to help. Instead, she picked up a basket of merchandise and headed for the exit. When I called out that I needed help, she replied, "Why are you telling me?" and simply walked away. Several more minutes passed before another employee escorted me back to the same empty desk. Eventually, another employee appeared and finally printed me a valid receipt. That entire process should have taken less than a minute. Instead, it became an exercise in frustration because no one seemed interested in taking ownership or helping a customer. I have decided that I will begin shopping at the Arundel Mills Costco instead. It's about 30 minutes from my home, but the extra drive is worth avoiding the stress and frustration I experience every time I shop at Woodmore. Quite honestly, my blood pressure rises every time I walk into that store. Over the years I have shopped at Costco warehouses throughout Florida, including Orlando, Altamont Springs, Clairmont, Winter Park and The Villages, as well as Greensboro, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia; and many other locations while traveling. Without exception, those stores have provided excellent customer service. Their employees are friendly, courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. Shopping there is enjoyable. Woodmore stands alone--and not in a good way. Where is the store management? Where is the employee training? Where is the culture of customer service that Costco has built its reputation on? This location reflects poorly on an otherwise outstanding company. It should concern Costco that a loyal customer would willingly drive an extra 30 minutes simply to avoid shopping there. I sincerely hope someone in Costco leadership investigates what is happening at the Woodmore warehouse. This store has enormous potential, but it appears to suffer from a lack of leadership, accountability, and customer service. Is anyone paying attention? More importantly, is anyone willing to fix it?

I stocked up on a good handful of pantry essentials - appreciate their store brand value items that offer solid quality at a very family-friendly price. I was particularly impressed by their protein offerings, loved seeing so many cuts of pork (which was on my list to pick up that evening). On previous occasions, I've been to this Wegman's to pick up food from the hot bar. Perfect spot to grab a platter of food for a party or event - the ribs and wings I got were hot, tasty, and very popular at the party.
