It's by far the cleanest location I've been in, that has been open for more than 5 years (2008, when this plaza, Wilmington Crossing, opened). Parking wasn't a problem, and exiting / entering wasn't an issue either. The store wasn't busy and was, as I stated before, immaculate. They had a normal selection of products, same as all of the other Dollar Trees, missing a few items (such as I couldn't find any of the iPhone cases or colored screen protectors I have at other Dollar Tree stores), but also having some more items than other Dollar Tree stores (like halloween candy in November, as well as an elaborate bin / container section. Not the greatest in the world (and I would like them to add more in the electronics section), but overall, this is a great discount store to serve the Wilmington area, that continues to stay clean. Shows good customer service from management. Some other Dollar Tree locations should learn from them.....

There's a professional way to handle this and it isn't screaming at the top of your lungs. Totally ruined my day and gave me anxiety attack. For the cashier to scream so loudly within 3 feet of me is very petty and jarring. Then the manager passed me screaming at the top of her lungs. So I had two workers screaming within a couple feet of me. Not acceptable!

Cashier told the manager "these are all ringing up a penny." Manager told him unfortunately he has to sell to me, then proceeded to berate me in front of 2 lines of customers, saying "Oh, you're one of those Penny Queens. This store is notorious for penny shoppers like you. Well, I'm the new manager now, and that's going to change now that I'm in charge." I told her I guess they'd rather have perfectly good product sitting in a landfill. I let her know that I donate all the items I find for a penny, asked if the store does the same or whether they toss it. She claims she herself donates to veterans. I said GREAT! Not sure why she took issue with me donating perfectly good product to my local women's shelters and food pantry. I urge all "Penny Queens" to continue to shop here and say hello to the new manager with a power trip and attitude. :) Also, what is it about Dollar Trees always smelling like weed? The female was taking her time and saying no I don't like that one OH I LOVE THAT ONE. I asked if I could leave my dollar on the counter with tax and clerk said NO! I asked if she was going to blow up all thos balloons before she waited on the people in front of me and she said NO I WILL RUN YOU THOUGH first. The female came up to me and SAID I AM FIRST IN LINE NOT YOU SO WAIT YOUR TURN! I put my dollar item down and left and said to the 3 elderly people in front of me, sorry I tried to help. I will never go back to that store. As there is no customer service or ethics.

I left with a few new really pretty dresses and some awesome snacks, so I was really impressed with the selection they had at this location. I was less than impressed though with the service I received. No greeting and the person ringing up my order definitely had imbibed in a substance at some point which was inhibiting them from having a clear mind to ring my order up. Other than that, I'd come back, so long as I didn't have to go to that same person again.

They have beer, wine, snacks, groceries, and tons of household supplies. They also have fresh veggies and a butcher. The store has great prices and even though it is small, it is very well-stocked. The liquor section is huge and like the rest of the store, it has tons of options. The staff is very friendly too. They are helpful and treat every customer like a good friend. I live very close; in the summer, I ride my bike over and get icecream from their freezer. It's a very nice little spot!

However, while most of the items have gone up, I do have a problem with cans that clearly say 1.25 on them, a red sticker is put on all of the cans so that instead of paying 1.25 you are paying the increased price of 1.50. This is specific to the crider chicken cans. Allow the cans that say 1.25 to stay that way until you receive new stock which do in fact say 1.50. I don't believe this is legal. You cannot just put a round sticker on them blocking the1.25. I have an issue with this. The manager should make this right.
