My girlfriend and I came in to look around. Firstly, parking is painless. So don't worry about that. Secondly, the store is clean, brightly lit, and smells like candles. There are lots of random things to find here. Random chotskies galore, candles, pillows, rugs, some dry foods, coffee, curtains, etc. The lines are always long, but they move fast. I feel the cashiers get exhausted. Love here for Xmas shopping.

The team member who answered the phone (Rebecca) directed me to the appropriate department, and the team member (wish I had gotten her name) who ultimately confirmed the item was available was equally as friendly and helpful. The return was handled quickly and professionally. Kudos Target for making this customer/guest extremely happy.

The store layout is a bit different think of her to other TJ Maxx stores. Overall, I thought the selection that was offer here was pretty much Bare Bones and the same as any other TJ maxx. The lines here move and the average pace but I do say that this place had very affordable items. I do like their competitor that's also under the same banner on the other side of the street Of the strip mall. Overall, I thought this place was average at best.

Now that I live outside of Chicago proper, I no longer have access to some of the specialty markets and grocery stores I used to frequent. Meijer tends to meet my needs when it comes to grocery, home products, casual clothing, personal care products, and gardening. Two things that stand out the most was their gardening products. I had started gardening, so seeds, plant food, gardening soil, and other gardening items were reasonably priced. Being a pescatarian, there vegetables worked for me. But now that I grow my own, the gardening catalog worked perfectly for me. As to grocery, although there has been spike in grocery prices, they were not as high as I noted at other grocery stores. It helps that I take advantage of coupons, specials, and price reductions thanks to participating in their perks program. This store serves four immediate suburbs, so it tends to get busy on weekends, for sure. I go during the middle of the day when I work from home through the week. I have yet to go and not find what I needed. And because I am a very picky shopper, primarily from the perimeter of the grocery store, I have not been disappointed in what they have.

So I asked the gal at the bakery counter if I could place an order and she looked at me and said 'I don't know if you want to, I guess' . I said 'oh I said if you're busy, I'll come back' . I asked how much time she needed for me to come back and she said I'm the only one here. When I mentioned, I tried to order online. She said I don't know why you're having a problem. We're getting online orders. She was not willing to help me. It was one of the worst experiences I've had at Meijer and Meijer is my favorite store. I just said that I will go to Strack and Van Til to place my order and she said 'fine go do that'. For reference this was Sunday 5:20 PM, June 28.

Customer Service: The staff are usually friendly and welcoming. The return/exchange area is located on the left side of the store, so if you need to do returns/exchanges or pick up online orders, I recommend parking on the left side of the store. The right side of the store has the food & makeup section. The left side of the store has the sports, electronics, & Bulleye's Playground ($1+ section). Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the front of the store. Every time I've gone to this Target, the bathroom is always clean and smells like lemon. I'm not sure how frequent they clean the bathrooms, but I love it. Merchandise: This Target location has good inventory. There's almost a clearance section in every section of the store. The clearance section has a yellow sign that says "Clearance" so you can't miss them. The clearance is hit or miss. I've found some good clothing on clearance for the most part. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a good shopping experience at Target. The staff are usually friendly, good inventory, & great deals every so often.
