Starting to become more frustrated with dollar tree. Selection has been getting worse, quality even worse and on top of it I noticed when I got home that half my items rang up at 1.75 not 1.25 despite the stickers on them and the signs in their store. I called and asked what that's about and they said yes we haven't had time to go through and change the prices on everything. I asked how people are supposed to know in the future and they said "I don't know it's on you to just know or buy it." I stopped at this location as it was close to the Kidd Valley where I had lunch. Nothing special about it, but I did find what I was looking for (and a few things I didn't need! But that happens every time I go to a Dollar Tree). The place wasn't too bad. I liked the location as it was easy to get to (almost right next door to Kenmore Lanes) and the store wasn't neat and tidy, but Dollar Trees never are. I had gotten in line and was about to check out when a glance at an item the woman in front of me had sparked a reminder that I had forgotten something. So I got out of line and went to get my items. At that time there was only one person checking people out, so I figured I'd have to stand in line again. Luckily as I headed for the original line, another employee called me over to her line and checked me out. I was very appreciative of that. I don't live near here, so chances are very slim that I'll be back but should I need anything and I'm in the area, I'll pay another visit. read more

I just love dollar tree, I go in for one thing and it never fails I walk out spending a easy $50. I'm all for saving a buck or two when I get the chance :) They have a large selection of coloring books, party supplies and household items. Just a heads up! They are always under staffed, and it is rare that you find a nice upbeat cashier ringing you up. read more

I had the most horrible experience at Kenmore Dollar Tree at 1640 hours today. All I wanted was a copy of my receipt. I work retail and printing a receipt should not be a big deal. The person said it could take 2 minutes, 2 hours, or never. It was never that made me ask why and then for a corporate number or a manager who could help. Turns out she was the manager and did not know anyone else, that information or how to get it. If she had said as a good manager would, I'll take your name and number, find out so I know too and I will call you. Then all would have been better. Instead the manager escalated the situation making accusations of words that I never said in a loud tone of voice as she was walking away and would not give me her name for my information. Next step they had the police visit me. I ended up a no trespass for a year. I asked the officer what can I do as this is a false statement claiming that I caused a disturbance when it was the manager doing all the taking in raised voice. I was the person who was embarrassed as the recipient and the customer of her horrible demeanor. Really nothing one can do to respond. I can do is share. So beware of the manager. Lies or not you can file these things. However, I was told this happens quite often at this store, That said , again be careful of this manager. She can turn nasty fast and claim it's your fault. Almost always has everything I need. Big holidays like Christmas and Easter if you see what you want buy it then because the next week it will likely be sold out. I love that I can get Lysol toilet bowl cleaner here (adulting) for only 1$. And every spatula or other serving utensil I've bought here has held up great! read more

Say what you want, but Dollar Tree has the best selection and price for party supplies anywhere! The store is fairly well organized, generally stocked, but often has long lines to check out. That is the only drawback, so shop Dollar Tree with some time on your hands and extreme patience. I recently planned a milestone birthday party. I bought everything I needed at Dollar Tree - each item purchased was only a dollar! Need mylar balloons (including filled up with helium for free) with the table weight.....you'll find the best selection at Dollar Tree. An entire wall is dedicated to colored party supplies. Red, blue, green, pink, simple white, whatever color of the rainbow - they have all of the matching partyware including: plates, lunch and cocktail napkins, silverware, cups, plastic table cloths, serving trays, etc. Pick your color and design your theme. I recently saw the color combinations of purple and gold being sold together for upcoming UW grads. Smart marketing! For other decorations, I selected some various party favors for the tables. Colored party horns, confetti glitter and some votive candles in glass cups. I also added in some colorful "Happy Birthday" plates and napkins to serve the cake with. I even found a banner that matched everything as well. On another wall in the store, they have a huge selection of gift wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift bags and ribbons. Everything you could ever need to wrap the perfect gift. While they offer staples like birthday and baby shower paper, during the holidays, these items are often seasonal themed. And......least I forget, one of my favorite items that Dollar Tree offers is 2 for $1 greeting cards. A full aisle of personalized cards for every occasion, including seasonal. No one will ever know you spent so little on a thoughtful card. As I planned the milestone birthday party, I thought about all of the cute items I purchased and the money I'd ultimately saved on the decorations. Often times, decorations are only used once, so why pay top dollar? If you're creative and have some vision, Dollar Tree can help you party plan like Martha Stewart on a shoestring budget. read more

An organized and clean Dollar Tree? It does exist!!!! I was very surprised walking in. The store was extremely clean and nicely set up. Although the staff was unpacking boxes and setting up Christmas decorations during Thanksgiving week, they were all very helpful and friendly. They even made sure to open up additional registers when a line began to form. This location is about 10 mins further from my house than the Kirkland location but it's worth the drive to avoid the clutter and product posing a tripping hazard on the floor. read more

It's one of the last remaining dollar stores where things are actually all $1. They really monopolize on being a huge franchise. You will find so much stuff here. It's crazy. If you're lucky, and hit it right, you'll find brand name items of certain things (mainly bathroom stuff) from time to time. This is a very clean and well stocked store. I normally buy snack food here. 8 frosted Pop Tarts for a dollar, Texas Toast Garlic Bread for .80 cents less than the Grocery Outlet next store. But the best deal by far is gift bags/wrapping paper and greeting cards selection. Buy a helium balloon, a card, a gift bag, and a pez dispenser to dress up the gift you buy elsewhere. read more

We didn't buy anything here but I'll give you a review of my experience. The employee that we interacted with was very friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. He offered to help if we needed anything. There are a lot of moms pushing carts full of crap while their brats run wild. I had been in here a few years ago before the remodel; it is much nicer now and actually feels like a real store. Okay, so all the Dollar Trees carry about the same stuff, but in my experience this is always the best -- because the staff is very nice and it's not usually as busy. Of course, you still run into a fair amount of parents letting the kids go wild, which is annoying... but usually worth it. read more
