The store already had merchandise for Halloween and Thanksgiving, so I impulse shopped and was holding an armful of stuff. Near the checkout, Kimberly walked the store, and stopped by me and suggested a shopping cart, she found me a nearby one abandoned at the register. Also, at the register, with no one else waiting, she gave me a chance to hoof it outside to my car and to bring back a big bag to carry all of my unplanned purchases. So I passed this dollar tree very often and always been skeptical of going inside because it looks like a small location and doesn't look super inviting from the outside. I decided to put that aside and go check it out and in fact that was very wrong. The store is smaller, but a lot of selection and stock and the aisles were clean and things are put away nicely. I went in on an early Tuesday morning, I was greeted by a cashier when I walked in that said good morning. So definitely check out this location if you're in the area. read more

This location has extremely rude employees. At first I was going to take some merchandise that seemed like the right color but after taking a deeper look at it, it wasn't what I wanted. Asked the cashier to remove the merchandise he had no issue helping me out with taking it off but then some other managers I'm assuming one was named Nathan and some girl with glasses black hair they both had an issue with me removing the merchandise. Questioning why would I grab the merchandise if I wasn't going to take it. Super unprofessional. If you are going to speak poorly about customers at least do it off the sales floor. Not sure why it was such an issue but overall disappointing to have had this encounter. Do better. read more

My wife and I enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree for many years and getting good deal fron name brand items and so many items they have there at the Dollar Tree. They sell everything for the house items,food,house products and much more. read more

I came here to see if they had treat bags, and I was pleasantly surprised that they had a variety of sizes and designs unlike the Walmart I went to. I was also able to get a few Christmas cards and kids' books. Definitely found more things than what I came looking for, and for a good price! read more

It's been a while since I've visited a Dollar Tree, but this location seems to have it all. I've recently been on the search for some party favors and game accessories for a baby shower and Dollar Tree pulled through! They have all of the party supplies you'd need to make any event you're hosting an epic one. Party list checklist: Balloons? Check. Baby shower plate and napkins? Check! Snacks? Check. Party garland? Check! Play-dough? Check. Stickers? Check. Gift bags? Check All sorts of cards? Check, check, and check! I personally enjoyed looking through the art supplies and was really impressed. I think Dollar Tree could be the new Michael's for me. Nothing can beat a dollar store, but if you're planning to buy in bulk, it might not be the most budget friendly in the long run. Nevertheless, I like the organization and friendliness of the staff at this location. read more

I don't know what is going on with management at this particular location...I usually go to the one on Atlantic but this place is unlike other Dollar Trees...I went in today to try my luck at finding Thanksgiving decorations. From the moment you park you realize just how poorly maintained this store is...the parking lot was littered with trash, and the two trash receptacles at the entrance were overflowing with trash, to-go food containers, and food scraps. The products on the shelves look hastily organized, and I've often had to dust products after grabbing them from the shelves. Yes, I get it...it's a discount store so I do not expect anything fancy or a "white glove" experience. However, as a retail establishment it should have some basic standards of cleanliness and appearance. In spite of the overall appearance of this store, the cashiers are usually friendly and polite. And yes, parking lot is dirty but at least there's always a spot available. read more

This is the worst DT location I have ever been to. The air conditioner has been out for several months, which is completely unacceptable in the summer heat we have in SoCal. This is my go-to dollar store. There is always parking available in their parking lot. Store is organized. Staff is super friendly. Dollar Tree - I cannot believe I found this Twin Peaks book here!!! - Discount Store Near Me - Monterey Park, California

I filed a federal complaint against this Dollar Tree location with the ADA civil rights unit. I was inside the store with my service dog and an employee followed me and stopped me. She told me that I had to carry my dog while in the store. I told her specifically that my dog is a service dog and it's against the law to require someone to carry their service dog. She wasn't convinced. She demanded identification for my dog and proof that he's a service dog. She blatantly repeatedly vioated federal law. The federal law pertaining to service dogs is "you can NOT ask for Identification or proof that it's a service dog. You can only ask two questions to the owner of a service dog. The first question is "what the service dog is trained to do" and the other question "is if the dog is a service dog:. That is it. You can not make up your own rules by telling a dog owner to carry their service dog around or demand proof that it's a service dog. That's against the law. The employee or the manager could go online and they could find the federal guidelines and laws regarding service dogs that apply to public spaces , businesses and in courthouses. This wloman just wanted to start trouble and throw her weight around. Has I stood there trying to reason with this ignorant person. I told her that I had the rules in my cell phone and if she would like to see it. She declined. She said she was going to go talk to the manager about it. It was up to the manager. That's not how it works. I didn't wait around. I left because I knew she was just wanted her way and she wanted an argument. Why bother? There are other ways to deal with people like that. I give this location on Garfield and Riggin one star. read more

This store use to be nice, it has a variety of items and a great card section. My child had to use the restroom and that is where I was just so grossed out. The bathroom was a mess, cockroaches on the floor and outside the bathroom is their storage area which looks so dirty and disorganized. I put back all the food items I was getting once I saw the cockroaches. It was so bad. read more

I've been to many dollar trees and it's always pretty decent. They are cleaner (not super clean) but acceptable. This location tho was beyond dirty, especially the floors. Cashier was polite, she was wearing a face mask. Maybe they are under staffed Hmmm if so get them some help so they can have that store clean for your customers. read more

This Dollar Tree is located at the corner of Garfield and Riggin and has an easy to maneuver parking lot. This location is average in size and has pretty clean big aisles. I used to get my favorite root beer here, but they don't carry it any more. :( Service is average but not horrible. read more

I'm giving a single star for crappy service and disrespecting old people. Let me give you the scenario so you can understand exactly how I am concerned. There was one cashier working and her line was getting long. A couple of older ladies were buying a cart full of $1 gems and some sodas. Now the carts don't leave the store so they would have to carry these things to the car. These older ladies were not your typical older ladies. They were frail and obviously needed some help. The cashier offers to get somebody to help them to their car. Alright. This is a stand up decent lady. I like it. Out comes the helper lady. She looks at the line of customers and says something like, "I'm not helping them. We are too busy." So these two ladies are standing by the door waiting for somebody to come help them and that person had no intention of helping. Of course I helped these old ladies because my parents didn't raise me to be an A--hole. I don't frequent many Dollar Trees but I can't imagine that you find that many people who would leave two old ladies like that. You suck helper lady! I hope your mom doesn't need help when she's out on the town like that. read more

This dollar tree is so unorganized and always a mess. Merchandise is always all over the place and some items are even expired. I never find an actual employee working the floors (stocking or cleaning up) to ask for help. The cashiers (every time I go, which is often because its down the street) are always rude, practically throwing the change at me. This dollar tree needs more leadership and a serious makeover. Save your dollars and head down the street to the 99 cent store, where its very organized and clean. read more

Wow! Went to this store today for the first time actually by accident cause I missed a street to the freeway. Walked in this store and to my amazement it was a long line of people and the store was so messy and unorganized I could not make out what was suppose to be on the shelves. I walked around just so I could see if I could find anything for stocking stuffers and it was just beyond frustrating. I walked out and will never go here again even by accident. read more

I just encountered my first racist cashier!!! Old chola lady with black hair and tattoos everywhere was super nice to the two Hispanic customers in front of me. She greeted them warmly and asked if they wanted to donate a toy to a charity. I was excited to donate when it was my turn, but she didn't even say hi to me, let alone ask. When she gave me my change, it drop on the counter and she didn't even say sorry or help me pick it up. Such a bitch!!! I don't even know what I did to her for this type of treatment! Typical Dollar Tree Store that sells some branded goods, like their competitor, they sell mostly no name brands. Great place to stop by before you go to the movies so that you can sneak in your $1 box of Hot Tamales or Mike n Ike's instead of paying $5 at the theater for the same size box of candy! Too bad this store doesn't sell produce and dairy since it's a great neighborhood location. read more

So this really rude guy, his name was Jonathan, opens up a new line and I go over there and he absolutely refused to help me. Probably the best dollartree I've been to in a long time. The manager was probably the friendliest person I've met. I believe her name was Sophie or Sonia lol but she's a great person. Their customer service was good, Cashiers and employees very helpful and nice.
