I stumbled to this location in need of school supplies and to my surprise the store was filled with some pretty decent options. Unlike most Dollar Tree's that I've stumbled on into, the store was very refreshing. While I went in early in the morning, and at a time where the store wasn't filled with customers, the staff here knows exactly what they're doing. Even more, most locations that I've gone to the floor is filthy, the aisles are messy or not even fully stocked, their are typically understaffed, and worse suffer from in incredibly slow wait times at checkout. However, the service here was immediate, friendly, decent paced, and well organized. This Dollar Tree, while not the biggest location, has something special going on here that I wish other locations would model themselves after. If I had spent more time here and was actually shopping for more than a few items, I think I could write this location probably the best in the Bay Area. But to be fair, I'm going to rate it based off of the amount of time I spent there and highlight everything that went right, so for that, it gets a 4/5.

Worst dollar tree. Smelled like pee inside, nothing was stocked neatly & cashier was smacking on Red Vines and working!

But there's a reason for my continued patronage at this store: it slashes my grocery budget by at least 50 percent, if not more. It makes a big difference during these inflationary times. I used to stick with packaged goods, but in more recent years I've also been getting as much produce as possible at this GO. It's quite a bit less than at the other grocery store I often frequent, a family-run business in the Dimond district. It's not hard to find quality produce here, and they have a respectable amount of organics. The one thing that keeps me from giving this store a full five stars is the fact that they allow signature gatherers to set up shop by the front door, and these people thrust their their damn clipboards and pens in your face when you try to walk in. Today, when I politely declined to fork over my signature, the woman told me, "You should try to give a hoot about this," which was quite annoying. I'm not going to put my signature on something I haven't researched beforehand. These things are not always what they seem to be. In any case, I go to Grocery Outlet to do my shopping, not to debate ballot initiatives with people I do not know, and certainly not to be shamed by them when I don't give them what they want. I really, really wish the GO would not allow these signature gatherers to harass their customers, who are not there to engage in political discussions. In fact, I wish they wouldn't allow these people on the property AT ALL.

That's after you get over the initial shock at seeing how messy and unorganized the place is. After 5-10 mins, you get a sense of where things are and just start exploring the place. The staff are really nice and helpful. They want to make a sale to get merchandise out the door. The first time I came here was near closing time, and they asked me to come back. So I came back as a bargain hunter. I read the positive Yelp reviews, and decided to explore the place. I spotted a "14-Cup Cuisinart Programmable Coffee Maker," priced at $59. FYI, the price tag isn't the final price. The lady mgr made me an offer.....open box-$25, sealed box -$35. I asked for the sealed box. She said I can open the box and inspect it before I pay. We opened it together, and it was brand new. She said full refund if I return it within a week. Took it home, it works fine. If you have the time, come by and explore this place.

My experience with ILiquidate has been outstanding, I got a great deal and amazing service. I couldn't say enough good things! I love my new bed and mattress! I spent months sleeping on an air bed waiting to find the prefect upholstered platform bed and mattress and I could not be happier! I found ILiquidate on CL then verified them via yelp and Facebook. After inquiring via FB message about items I saw on their page I received a prompt response and was able to schedule a time that worked with my schedule to come in. Bill met us at the warehouse on a Saturday morning and we were the only people there, he was professional and very kind. There is a wide range of items in the warehouse, my friend unexpectedly left with an awesome faux fire place heating unit. Having never purchased a mattress before I was nervous about the negotiation process, but everything went very smoothly and I got a great deal! Bill even waited while I looked up the retail prices of the items online to insure I was comfortable. When I got home and unpacked everything the quality and condition of the items was excellent. I did have a small hiccup where one of the boxes with bed parts didn't make it into the car but I only mention this because the issue was resolved promptly and very professionally. As soon as I let Bill know he checked the warehouse confirmed that there was an additional box that should have made it into my van and then arranged to have the box delivered to my apartment. It was not more than 30 hours from the time I noticed the missing parts to the time they were on my door step. It very well could have been that I didn't load the box into the van and shame on me for not double checking before I left, but at no point did whose fault come into play, the issue was very promptly resolved in a way that cost me no additional time or money. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Tons of shoppers and many registers open. Great place to go for Christmas decorations or craft stuff or maybe cleaning supplies. As I checked out the lines were so long they opened yet another register. I really think the people working here are outstanding. Some of the shoppers here are not very refined though. So just realize that and let them do as they like - its not your job to teach the random population manners because their mom didn't or couldn't or wasn't there for them. Have sympathy for these people. I think they might have lives that are so bad they maybe feel scarcity and so focus only on themselves and their family only. When life is good you think about other people and your community - and even more importantly - people outside of your community... and you love and try to give what you can to them. I love shopping at Whole Foods and Trader Joes - the people there are so polite. They cover their sneezes and don't cut people in line - really I'd love to be a part of or maybe at least donate to an organization that teaches manners - if you really think about it - it would buy people a better chance at a better job and get out the cycle of poverty and scarcity so they have enough to feel the option to think of others.
