This store is very dirty, one but f the worst stores I have seen in my many years and visits to Dollar Tree stores in San Antonio and the Houston area. Filthy floors that haven't been swept or mopped in a very long time. I couldn't find one section in the store that was recovered or organized. In my opinion nobody from Manager on down seems to care about the appearance of their store and what impressions a store in that bad of shape might have on customers. I do not recommend this store at all and shame on the employees and even the District Manager for doing their jobs. If I could give it a zero or negative number I would. read more

This place is so dirty like... so so so dirty. The floors haven't been mopped in probably years, everything on the shelves were on the floor like a riot had happened, and there were BIRDS NESTS under the awning. First off they had plenty of parking space. This dollar tree is one of the big ones but when I went inside I was very disappointed in the cleanliness, and disorganized. Trash on floor and items that didn't belong in a certain place just everywhere. One worker was nice asked me if I needed any help. They did have things that other dollar tree store didn't have. I rarely give 5 stars unless a business deserves it. Only places that I absolutely love get 5 Stars. I am already a huge fan of Dollar Tree but I had no idea they got this extensive. This is the biggest Dollar Tree I have ever seen. For such a big store it seems to be always well kept. The workers seem to be friendly and not intrusive. This is a cheep skates dream. Equipped with grocery section. The only thing missing is clothing. If I were an executive I would add clothing to the inventory. read more

I placed a baloo order 2 weeks in advance. They had all balloons for my daughte's Quinceañera and told me they'd be ready. I arrived to find that the balloons wet nor ready and when they finally blew them up I was missing 3. The manager didn't even realize he didn't have the full order and couldn't find the missing balloons. Now I'm stuck with an incomplete setup for my daughte's Quinceañera!!!! I want to start off and say I've never posted a review before and I've never had such awful customer service and I really hate to have to sit down and write this all out but honestly something really needs to be done because after this incident I felt absolutely horrible and hurt- so When I went up to the register to pay I asked the older woman working (I believe her name was Sam or Pam) if the store had a restroom to which she said yes and gave me the key and told me to bring it back once I was done. when I finished in the restroom another woman ( who urgently needed to pee) asked me for it. I told her that I couldnt because I had to bring it to the employee. the lady said she'd bring it to the employee if I just let her use it (I'm assuming it was a emergency for her) so I gave her the key. (I know I definitely shouldn't have but I'm kind of a pushover) when I went to tell the employee what had happened she started yelling at me telling me I hadn't done what I was supposed to and basically calling me an idiot for not giving her the key. she yelled at me for about 5 minutes adding "well now we don't have a key anymore so thanks for that" (obviously sarcastic) and "you couldn't just follow simple directions". When I say yelling Im not over exaggerated she was so loud it honestly scared me I've never been in that situation before. I could go on and on about her awful behavior and language. I wanted to post this review because I think this woman really needs a talking to. she can't just do what she did to me to other customers, it was very inappropriate and dehumanizing. Also I may have gotten her name wrong because i dont pay attention to that kind of stuff but I can add more detail, she was working 5/23/23 at around 8-9. read more

Great place for great deals and all for $1 per item. The store is laid out well so finding what you are looking for is easy. Of course you can just grab a cart and browse the whole store grabbing treasures as you find them. If you like great deals this is the place for you. read more

Every time a walk into one of these "Dollar" places I can't remember buying anything. I'm usually here with someone who wants to get something here. I look all around the store and there are lots of useful things and stuff for a affordable price but I still feel I don't need anything from here. It's not the low or cheap products here that doesn't want me to buy anything. It's the sad and poor service from the cashiers that reminds me, I'm shopping and buying 3rd class merchandise. This review is more of a 3.5 star review than a 3 star review, but still not able to give those half star ratings. I was running errands around the area and needed to stop by a Dollar Tree. This location was close by so decided to go. This location is fairly easy to get to and has a bunch of parking. It is located right next to a school so that maybe the reason for the abundance of parking spots. This Dollar Tree store is the largest I have been to since moving to San Antonio. It is well stocked. It's clean and organized. Its easy to find what you're looking for and the aisles are spread out. There are a few items that you'll be able to find at a different dollar store location (certain types of pens/pencils), but not at this location. Considering it's located next to a school, it's a lot more stocked and organized than other Dollar Tree stores that are in similar locations. Overall, it's similar to other Dollar Tree store locations and they hold pretty much the same items (sometimes you just gotta go to another one if you're looking for something in particular). The lines aren't so bad here and the employees are nice. read more

I cannot truly give a rating, this store is filthy, not just floors but also walls! Merchandise is all over the place and stock sitting in the aisles. Don't go to the bathroom, toilets dirty-dirty and trash can needed emptied over full with used paper towels. It should not be open to public shopping. Dollar Tree executives should bring their love ones to this store and see if they like what they see! This store needs to be closed! read more

Every time I have been in this store it so trashed up, garbage in the isles and filthy. The shelves are mostly empty, nothing is stocked and I can't wait to run out of there. They are the largest in size in San Antonio and could be a plus store with much more than the others, but they don't. Don't bother going, pick another store. I love Dollar Tree and wish corporate could see this store! Instead go to the one on Marbach & 1604 (I know people who drive really far to go there, including me. They are large and have things I've never seen elsewhere.) or the Helotes store on Bandera (smaller but super clean, well stocked and organized). You can supply your birthday parties, create affordable gift bags, stuff socks and Easter baskets, decorate for the holidays, find cleaning products, create first aid kits, make- up and tweezers all for $1 an item. What's not to love!? Any time I'm looking for cheap items for other people (workers, office supplies or school projects), this is the first place I stop. You'll find some great treasures too. Best Dollar Tree in SA by far. Great customer service from the workers. The store is fully stocked and organized. The size of the store is huge compared to most and a wide selection. There were some boxes on carts waiting to be stocked and some items on the floor but a thousand times cleaner than other locations. read more

Very rude staff. I called ahead of time to make sure I can exchange my items and I was told yes. Then when I get there the guy associate told me I was unable to. I informed him I was just told I could which is why I drove all the way to the location. He didn't take it into consideration to try to find out who I spoke to or even try to work with me. Have shopped this dollar tree for quite a while it's always been very very clean very organized and haven't been in there for a couple of months and was absolutely taken back by the filthy aisles trash everywhere all over the floor broken candy broken glass trash over and exceeding outside the store very few employees it actually stunk inside. When I got to the cashier I asked the girl who was working there what in the hell is going on with this store and what I thought about it and she just shook her head and said we haven't had a Manager in months. I love dollar tree i go 2-3 times a week for just about anything i need. Great value for each of my dollars. Usually long lines thou, most of time only two cashiers so the waiting to get out of there is sometimes is longer than what it takes me to get my basket filled up. Not very clean and tidy, but they have just about everything necessary from household items to toys and medicine great for seasonal decorations as well. read more

Asked employee where I could find something and he said they were out. I found a display with about 50 of them. Got in long line to check out and Dollar Tree employee gets in line behind me in her dollar tree uniform and yells to the clerk to call Tracey up to the register. When Tracey arrives to open the register the employee rushes over to that register to be one of the first in line leaving people who had been in line for several minutes in and who were in front of her.
