Store states to open at 8am. I got to the store around 8:05am and there were employees inside that won't open the door.

If I could give Dollar Tree a negative 1, I would. Today there was only one cashier with 12 customers in line. I attempted to return 6 sets of small aluminum pans and buy other items. The items I chose were for food items, no tax. Because there was a price discrepancy due to taxable items being returned the transaction could not be completed. I offered to leave the CREDIT difference with the store. NADA. I then suggested that that the clerk refund the returned items and ring up the new items. The difference was ony $.67, in my favor. I was I informed that Dollar Tree does not issue refunds. Nowhere in the store is this policy posted. I then offered to buy another item and pay the difference between the two totals. I WAS FINALLY ALLOWED TO CHARGE THE NEW DIFFERENCE WHICH COINCIDENTALLY WAS EXACTLY THE SAME AMOUNT OF THE CREDIT WHICH COULD NOT BE REFUNDED. Needless to say, meanwhile, the number of customers in line doubled. I paid the balance due with a Visa card. read more

I'm giving a Dollar Tree five stars. I must be on some really strong stuff that is altering my brain chemistry but they get this dubious distinction for one reason and one reason only... More items than most of the area stores! Such a great selection!!! My boyfriend is an authority on Dollar Tree stores and he was impressed so if that isn't a reliable Barometer, I don't know what is! read more

I like coming here because it's always a fast trip. Parking is close to the store. I like buying my gift bags here or an materials for school projects. Overall you can find some good deals. At this store you're always in and out. read more

I come in today hoping to shop at a dollar store. Not only am I an adult and have been shopping here FOREVER, today I was stopped by security asking to forfeit my FASHION backpack of which I use as a carryall bag, in some instances a woman would call it a purse. Mind you no bigger than a woman's purse or a diaper bag. I tell the security gentleman very calmly and with decency that I carry thus bag to house my money and wallet and keys and cell phone and makeup bag... yet other women walked in with oversized purses (completely capable of causing shrink within said environment.) Why am I a target of such scrutiny because my bag of choice is not a woman's purse. Um sir no... show me the signage that states that this is a requirement for ALL bags not just MY backpack. read more

My first trip to a dollar store. What an adventure! Having a luau at work today, was able to buy plates, napkins, cups, leis and table clothes. Can't match the prices. Staff was out on the floor. Shelves were well stocked. Parking good. My go to party place from now on! read more

This place is right next to to La superior market, and is a great place to stock up on household supplies. Things like dishsoap, laundry detergent, deoderant, glassware, kitchen utensils, snacks, frozen food, school supplies....etc As promised everything is a dollar, if you trip about brands than maybe you need a reality check packaging and marketing DONT MATTER!!!! Go in get what you need, and have some money left over for something you dont really need hey its only a dollar....take your kid they got dollar toys, the young ladies who work there are very nice, and if you don't feel safe they got a security guard who stays strapped!!!! read more

This "dollar store" is conveniently located and seems to get s lot of traffic. I don't rate dollar stores based on excellent quality products or number of cashiers (cause they all have cheapo stuff and a bare minimum of employees). Instead, I tend to rate dollar stores based on the number of hidden treasures I can find there. This particular store has above average customer service for a dollar store (that's nice) but their inventory kinda sucks. There's no real treasures there. Like if you need a deal on some electric cables for a Hi-Fi system, they don't have ANY. Basically, it's a boring store and there's no incentive to "search" for these "treasures". But they do have your other basic stuff u can always count on (batteries, cleaning supplies, etc) read more

Absolutely disgusting. We came from out of town. Filth everywhere, homeless inside the store pushing their carts with bags of trash. Saw a hypodermic needle in the isle where the ziploc bags were. It was disgusting. The customer service was horrible to boot. Not s hello, no greetings there were about 9 people in like to pay. Felt dirty just being inside. But seeing the drug paraphernalia and the employees who were RUDE to say the least.... dont come here unless youd like to contract a disease. read more

I typically have pleasant experiences at this dollar tree but my most recent visit truly bothered me. About a week ago (early December) we went in to purchase Christmas decor. There was not a single shopping cart or hand basket within the entire building or out front. When it came time to check out, there were only two employees at the cash register. Each line went to the middle of the store (NO JOKE!). People were getting so upset and in my opinion harassing the two employees (and that was WITH a security guard posted at the front of the building). The two employees kept their composure and remained calm and courteous to customers (I believe one was Thelma, not sure of the other lady). I give them 5+ STARS as employees!! The two star rating goes to the manager that let this happen and to the other employees who obviously chose not to come to work that day. Hope this was a one time occurrence. read more

I like dollar tree because I always find little treats for my kids that are extremely less expensive. Learning books, cards, coloring books. Things kids need to help them in their learning process. They have a great teacher section as well. The staff is nice just sometimes they can ring very slow. So you may want to be in and out but that may not happen. Bring your own bag to this location! read more

As soon as I walk in the store the security guard told me I had to leave my $150 bag up front. I had one of those purses that looks like a mini backpack. I just ignored him and kept walking. I bought a drink and as I'm walking out the security guard says I'm not allowed to come into the store anymore. I said I'm ignoring you. I'm almost out the parking lot and decided to go back in to find out why I'm not allowed to go back in. The guy immediately gets aggressive with me and then his manager threatens to call the police for disorderly conduct. I leave because along with the degrees I have I do some security part time. I know there is no crime. What makes things worse is this lady tries to tell me to just leave. I go in to buy something to cool off on a hot day and I get treated like a criminal because of profiling from management and other employees. I urge people to go to another dollar store because these people are nuts and treats everyone like criminals. I wouldn't even give them one star. read more

I can't believe I'm the first to write a review ion this place. All the basics, they sometimes have wine. Large store, butt he lines can be long. Can be crazy busy in the summer, and hot, so come at night. read more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: The sales Associate: Shawanda was very rude and disrespectful and did NOT treat me like a valued employee at check out! At this particular dollar tree you have to bring your own recyclable bag or pay 10 cent per bag. I placed my bags on the counter to be used for my items and she did not put my items in the bags I provided, instead just scanned and provided me a total. I said to her "here are my bags" and she said "you were standing there; you could've put them in the bags". I told her "it is NOT my job to do that, but hers it is what she gets paid to do not me". And I asked Shawanda "Isn't it in your job description"? She ignored me and proceeded to move onto the next customer, without even touching my items. I turned to her Supervisor she was at the cashier stand behind us and told her how rude her Sales Associate was being and asked if she was suppose to bag my items. Her supervisor said she is going to and said to Shawanda, you're going to bag her items right. Shawanda did not answer and continued with the next customer, having me wait an extra 5 minutes or so, before she RUDELY bagged my items. This was very unprofessional and RUDE!!! It seems to me you have a very unhappy employee that does not value her position as a Sales Associate and needs to be retrained on how to treat and talk to employees as soon as possible. Having a person like her representing your brand can certainly ruin your chances of having repeat customers! She also said to me "bye Satan" which is a very derogatory comment and can result in a law suit! read more
