What started as a quick snack run turned into a surprisingly fun Dollar Tree visit. After leaving Plato's Closet, the kids announced they were hungry. We spotted Dollar Tree nearby and immediately agreed that snacks were in our future. Lol. Walking into this location was a pleasant surprise. The store was enormous, clean, and incredibly well stocked. It wasn't crowded, so we were able to take our time exploring the aisles without feeling rushed. The selection here was impressive. Every section seemed full, organized, and easy to shop. This location had plenty of inventory and lots of choices throughout the store. The highlight of the trip was listening to the kids react to the size of the store. After wandering through aisle after aisle, they officially crowned it "The King of Dollar Trees." Honestly, I can see why. We picked up Ocean Spray dried cranberries, dried peaches, PopCorners chips, and a few other snacks. I also found a display of large Father's Day cards near the front of the store and grabbed one for The Mr., which felt like an unexpected bonus. Checkout was quick and easy, and the cashier was quick and efficient. If you enjoy treasure hunting at Dollar Tree locations, this one is definitely worth a stop. I was in the area and decided to go to thus dollar tree. I haven't been to it in years because I have several others closer to me. I will say a lot of their shelves were empty for Valentine's and Easter. They did not have as much variety as my store. I love going to the dollar tree to find sensory bin items and I found none today. A lot of the store has $3, $5, $6 + areas. More than I usuallly see. They do have a wide range of items such as beauty, cleaning, storage, pet, food, candy/snacks, drinks, party supplies, ans hygiene items. This is a bigger store than others I have been to. The checkout lines were moving fast today. There was tons of people in line. The staff didn't really interact with anyone as well. So I'd say the service was alright. Maybe we came a bad day because of the weekend so I will give it another try in the future. read more

Asked cashier if I could userhe restroom, manager refused even though it was a medical emergency, she cited plumbing problems. An associate was heard saying that I had a medical problems I should stay home! I tried to avoid the issue but things happen and I asked for help. Cashier, Trevor, was the only good thing about this visit. This manager needs to take some advanced classes on hospitality and if the plumbing is so messed up (the public bathrooms have been closed for months), why haven't they gotten repair work done? Anyway, they've lost a long time customer. I'll have to find somewhere else to shop where my hard-earned cash is appreciated. Treat your customers better! read more

Stopped at target 1st. Couldn't see spending $13 for a 2025 wall calander. Drove 2 minutes thru parking lot -$1.50 later had basically the same calander here .clean store ,quick checkout. read more

Call me crazy but this has to the be the biggest dollar tree in Michigan. I always call it the Costco of Dollar Tree's because it's unusually large for some reason compared to the tiny stores closer to where I live. You never really feel any regret picking up anything here being as everything is a dollar and I think the cards are only fifty cent. I feel like you can't go wrong picking up spices here, but I obviously would never recommend grocery shopping from dollar tree or any dollar store in general. But I'm always able to pick up some last minute things for parties or some cheap baby bottles because lord knows everyone keep having kids. I've found lots of name brands items as well that you'll usually have to go to Target/Walmart to get and I think that they're adding more and more supplies. The staff have always seemed friendly for the most part and I never feel like the store itself is ever too busy at any point and time. Overall a great cheap store! read more

THE DOLLAR STORE.. IT IS WHAT IT IS.. A CRAZY busy, stocked, inexpensive store with great variety. Some areas have off brand items but can still work for one's use. ex. dish soap, coffee filters, plastic ware and plates for parties since these items go down the drain or in a garbage can... recycle. I shop here for wrapping paper, kitchen supplies or cleaning items. I stay away from the pantry food items since the labels show different countries for the name of manufacturer. If anyone has small children, grand children or runs a daycare then toys, books, snacks, crayons, glue, artwork items are highly stocked here along with Season decorations and cute gifts within budget. If I shop here it may be once a month .. ?? or when I need to get rid of a $5.00 bill or singles!! YES THE EMPLOYEES here, always say " Hi" to me and work hard or they are busy working either stocking shelves or at registers. read more

I visit this location frequently and I can usually find what I'm looking for plus maybe another item or two or three..... Since everything's a dollar, I don't think twice about buying something to try. You can't beat the price of the same items you'd find at the local drug store or department store. Items such as gift cards, gift wrap, bags, snacks, stationary, miscellaneous home necessities... The drawbacks are at times the lines. They usually react quickly with needed help arriving to get the lines back down but it's a regular occurrence to know the lines could be long. The only other drawback is the rickety shopping carts. It's difficult to find one that steers correctly or doesn't look dilapidated. If they're busy, there might not be one available at all. The food and snack section is quite large. I've gotten a few standard items such as spices, pretzels, my favorite chocolates.... The frozen food section seems to be a bit larger than the other Dollar Tree stores, although I've never purchased anything from this area. The associates are usually friendly and will assist you if you need it but for the most part they don't say anything to you unless you need them. This isn't all that bad because there has only been a time or two when I had a question and they've answered it courteously. It's a perfect place to go for party or shower supplies or little token gifts as shower giveaways. Their holiday selections are pretty good if you're looking to decorate on a budget. I've purchased a few things for the different seasons and I've been happy with them. At times the store could be a bit neater, but with the limited staffing and the amount of foot traffic, I understand since I've been in retail myself and know how this part of it goes. 2018-04-18. Dollar Tree is a franchise, and a successful one. They've been around for as long as I can remember. The store carries a variety of household items ranging from office and party supplies, to household cleaners, to foodstuffs, to seasonal decorations. They've always been known to carry the lesser known brand labels to maintain margins while keeping prices low. Within the last decade, many of their stores have expanded to carry frozen foods covering everything from breakfast to dessert. Normally, there's not much to say about franchises, they have distribution centers to keep products consistent. But the reason I'm writing this review is twofold. The first is that this location seems to carry a much larger variety of items than other locations. The second is the number of brand names Dollar Tree now carries. I'm not certain if it's only this particular location or all franchises, but this Dollar Tree carries brand names many have cone to trust; Crest toothpaste, Dawn dish soap, Bounty Paper Towels, and Advil to name a few. True, 90+% of their products are still off-brands, but this is a great sign, and I'm still a fan. 4 stars. If I'm going to shop at a dollar store, Dollar Tree is my preference. While this store is rather large, and organized well, shelves are empty a lot of the time. I usually always find what I need but there's never any name brand items/products like I've seen at other locations. The cashiers are usually monotone and unenthusiastic about anything. I think of myself as a pleasant customer and alway say hi and address people by their name tag, but here they could care less. I'll continue to shop here, when I'm in the area and it fills my need but it's not my favorite Dollar Tree. read more

Don't ask if you want a receipt, if a receipt is needed for exchanges then print a receipt. Tried to exchange an item and the Manager on duty, Sam was very rude. Go to the Dollar Tree on Van Dyke, just a little further but definitely more accommodating. read more

This dollar tree is my favorite Dollar Tree ( so far ) I usually get my water here ( 6 bottles for $1, You cant beat that know I know I can get from the tap free, but the convenience ) They even sell my favorite BBQ sauce here, Bulls eye ( original ) the chocolate covered Graham crackers are AWESOME, nice cheap seasonings. The lines can be a little of a nascence's but just a little patience is all it takes. The one on scheonerr and 13 mile , every time you get to the register, they go thru the whole " Did you find what you were looking for, Can I interested you in a paper or some candy, would you like to donate a toy,dont forget about the survey on the back of the receipt you can win a i pod " OMG, I feel bad for those cashiers, But this Dollar tree never do this ( thank god ) its annoying to me, The Dollar tree is great cause everything is a $1, some of the other Dollar stores have dollar stuff and up. This is really a great store in many ways. It is newer, big, and has a huge selection of items. So all those are real plus is. The big thing holding this store back is that it is understaffed. I came in for a dollar item today and saw a line of 9 people. Only one register was open. That's really a shame. The goal for the store should be to get as many people's money as they can. But if you have a bottleneck created by only one register then you are limiting yourself. If they opened a few registers then this place would get a 5 star. read more

Encounter #1: Came in to shop with my dear MIL this Sunday for a 3 items. Went to go check out. Both lines were long, but Charles(Gus') line was shorter. I was only 3 people deep when he decides to stop whatever he was doing with a customer and leaves for 10 minutes. Gus never said a word to anyone, just comes back in a grumpy mood, like he always does and throws change at us. So them my turn comes up, he grabs a plastic bag, and just throws my things in there, not a word, no eye contact, nothing. "$3.18!" he yelled then throws me my bag of merchandise. Encounter #2: Came in with my 18 month old daughter, grab a cart, and put he legs into the front seat. Charles(Gus) comes by and snatches the cart away from us screaming, "This is mine!" And tramples away in a bad mood. Not another word, no apology no anything, just rudeness and a sense of entitlement because he is a senior. Wow! Smh read more

I love dollar stores and this is one that I frequent regularly. It is right across the street from my work and I can get in and out and on my way. This past time I needed some plastic plates, bowls, cups, silverware for a trip I'm going on for camping I was able to find what I needed. Although I do wish the selection was a bit bigger there were hardly any plastic sets that were full. Red in dishes and cups but not bowls. Blue in bowls and dishes but not cups. I was trying to make a complete set of one color so they would stay together. Overall I was able to find them since I know this location quickly and get out and on my way!!! read more
