The soup was very hearty with plenty of tender vegetables, white beans, and pasta--and you can't forget the fresh grating of parmesan cheese. Next, I tried Risotto alla Pescatora (seafood risotto). It looked amazing and was really good. The risotto was perfectly cooked with a hint of lemon zest, topped with calamari, clams, mussels, and prawns. I ate half of the dish in order to save room for dessert. For dessert, I wanted to try their gelato, but the server recommended other options he felt I would like more. He had a way of describing the dishes that made my mouth water. I took his recommendation of the Budino al Ciocćolato (Italian chocolate pudding) and it was decadent and creamy. It was a rich chocolate Italian pudding topped with fresh raspberry jam, whipped cream, pine nuts, and a chocolate anise biscotti.
