Ribeye steak tasted great, but tough. Poor cut of meat..no marble or fat. Mashed potatoes were great!!

Decided to try this spot on a Friday night for dinner and to hear the band. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the restaurant was clean. The waitress was also wonderful! The food and drinks did take time as I noticed most reviewers mentioned. But I didn't mind, because the band was late. Everything was good, including the band and the Old Fashion, but the shot of bourbon looked so small in the glass for the price I paid. I did appreciate that the restaurant did not add gratuity or an entertainment fee to the tab. My only complaint was that the ribeye was tough. It had a great taste, but it was a bad cut of meat. There was no marble or fat although it was cooked medium. I plan to return to try some other dishes, but I would not recommend the steak until they choose a better quality of beef.

My friends and I had a girls night at Dominique's on a nice Thursday evening. We were nicely greeted at the front desk and immediately like the elegant and modern ambience. The drinks were really good and the food was even better. I'm glad to have a restaurant close in the area without going to the city. We will definitely be back for the Friday night live music.

I came in for lunch but ended up ordering off the dinner menu. Because the selections just look so yummy. I had the filet mignon..Mac and cheese and yams, I also ordered broccolini and the trio 4 dessert. Everything was fresh and seasoned. Absolutely delicious. I will come back soon. Thank you!

1.7/5 Came here for a ladies night out and to enjoy the live band they have some days (7pm-9pm). But we didn't know the time at first so we missed out, but still stayed to dine in. Food: We ordered a bottle of wine for the table, although in a bucket of ice the wine was still warm. It took us 45 minutes to receive our meals, and even then certain items from everyone's meal were missing. Since my crab cakes never appeared with my sides, I tried a piece of someone else's order and the crab cakes were really good and had a nice kick to them. The baby broccoli was also nicely cooked and seasoned, and my cousin really enjoyed her yams, but everything else lacked. The salmon was very tough and lukewarm, and the mash potatoes to go with the meal were cold. My aunt never received her chicken Caesar and the truffle fries were cold. For the price of the menu, my expectations were a lot higher. The best thing I tried was the olive oil they have on the table and the baby broccoli. Thankfully, the manager was able to handle our concerns with understanding and grace. Ambiance: Very nice inside. Perfectly decorated for date night, girls night, or a celebration. Be mindful certain areas in the restaurant do not benefit from the a/c. So, it will be more warm in the corners or the dining area. (This was explained to us by one of the waitresses) Parking: They have complimentary valet or self-parking. It is in a plaza so there's plenty of spots around to park. Overall: I was not impressed at all. They did just open about a month or two ago, I believe. So, they definitely need more time to work out all their kinks. It will take another 5 months before I even entertain the thought of returning back. This place has a lot of potential, I hope they succeed.

Food was really good along with the atmosphere, but hey also had a live singer which was very nice. I ordered to go on c day and I waited a hour for my food compared to other establishments which said I would have to wait 2. The mules where every good and can in a medium cup vs the small ones some people give. Well worth the price. Cakes on the other hand were not made from scratch which I know because I also have ordered them for bulk purchases for other occasions. Bread pudding was very soft and did not come with a sauce.

I ordered the crab cakes and collard greens. They both were extremely good, especially the collard greens. It was $28 total. The appetizer crab cakes come with 2. The dinner portion is the same amount but includes 2 sides however, it's $36 and sides are $8 so you don't save any money by ordering either way (appetizer or dinner). They do have happy hour drink specials but I didn't have the best experience with the drinks. I asked for a lemon drop and received something that tasted like a margarita. I'm thinking the bartender used lime instead of lemon or too much sweet & sour. The manager came and spoke to me and told me once it hits the table it can't be removed from the check. They removed it from my check. Overall the experience wasn't terrible but as someone who absolutely loved Arizona's, it's not the same. The fine dining concept feels forced. It's linen on the tables but they cover it with paper like you're at Juicy Crab. The linen was wrinkled. It doesn't match the tufting of the booth. And there's the typical green wall with neon word lighting. The sides are served on saucer plates but with a paper napkin underneath. They have added more tvs but nothing is playing on them but ambiance music. The oil for the bread is infused with the seasoning and herbs but taste like only oil. Fine dining would have been the server pouring it for me and adding the seasoning.

We had an opportunity to visit Dominique's at Stonecrest this evening. We've been patiently awaiting the opening and once we seen the "open" signs from the freeway, we made our dinner choice right there. The restaurant is definitely a welcomed addition to the community, so I'd like to thank the ownership for investing in the area . Now on to the review, the staff was amazing, the ambience has won me over compared to the choices within a few exits on the interstate. She had the ribeye and creamy spinach and mashed potatoes, which was delicious. I had the Rasta pasta with grilled chicken which was equally amazing. We will definitely be back again to enjoy other dinner options. Great job Cache and Dominique's see you soon!

Red snapper was delicious and big.

Disgusting! Had hair in my drink! Nice interior set up but that was overshadowed by the hair.

The food and the service was very good. I will visit again. I'm glad we have a family oriented restaurant, black owned in our city.

It's nice to witness management taking the customer experience so seriously. I've ordered (both dine in and takeout) the sammen plate, corn muffins, afta church plate, catfish platter (when it was around), grits, egg rolls, and a variety of alcoholic cocktails. The cocktails are typically great. For the most part, it's always a relatively pleasant experience dining here. I awarded 4 stars and not five for small service inconsistencies like missing ingredients. Once something is noticed however, it is addressed immediately. Check it out for some authentic Gullah cuisine! Definitely the best on this side of town

I liked the name and the cuisine. Pretty good reviews, but if you've been on Yelp as long as I have, you know that standards vary greatly. And Virgils was no exception! Food was excellent! Deviled Eggs, Corn Bread, Sunday Plate, Grouper, and Seafood Platter. Undeniably Good. Service. Undeniably Bad! Muy malo! If you have to sit at the bar even when you have reservations. No bueno! If you have to flag someone down to get them to take your order. I am looking for an alternative option. If you charge a 20% service fee for services not rendered. Shame on you. "People will never forget how you made them feel". Well in a nutshell, not very valued. Having been in the restaurant industry of over 17 years, I have the perspective being on both sides, I would say service is the part severely lacking at Virgils.
