Let's start off with the good 1) Great ambiance 2) great amount of seating and spacious tables 3) clean 4 VERY friendly staff Now the not so good 1) Service is SLOWWWW 2) For the price of the food it definitely should have been seasoned better. Some salt honestly would have gone a long way for our steak and snapper. A little tip for some of you that may want to order the snapper...ask them for some of that garlic butter they use for the steak. Game changer and definitely elevated it. Because of the great employees, we will certainly return in a few months in hopes that service gets a lot faster. I'll start by saying Our server Lucas was engaging and nice, the mixed reviews had me nervous but I absolutely wanted to check them out. The calamari was breaded, seasoned and fried perfectly and came out fast, I had the snapper, greens and macaroni and they did not disappoint. Flavor was on point for everything. My husband has the Salmon Rasta Pasta, which I did not taste but he said it was good. It was 2 of us on a Monday when they first opened at 4 and the restaurant did include gratuity in our bill, I was fine with it as our server was good and I threw in an extra $5. Good portions so we both had leftovers for dinner as well. The music was good R&B and not too loud so you can actually talk at the table. I would definitely go again read more

The rasta pasta with chicken was average at best. The spinach dip sucked. Our waitress (Leslie) was slow and weird - I wouldn't be shocked if she was drunk or high. The manager (Travis) sucked too. The first check was bad, since it randomly had a $100 champagne bottle when no one at the table even drank alcohol. The second check was right, but it had an automatic gratuity at 18%, which she didn't deserve. It's priced like a Delbar or No. 246 restaurant, but the food is nowhere on their level. read more

Really good service. Arrived on Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the live music. Have the Salmon and it was very good. We also had the Rasta pasta it was also good. These were two of the least expensive options. The prices are that of a fine dining restaurant. I have a feeling of sadness after leaving this place. The food was awful. The service was marginal at best. The Ambiance was, well what Ambiance. I go to an establishment to Dine well, Have a great selection of wines and enjoy the Pleasantries. Stop saying that this is a Black Business. This is a Business that was started by lazy people who did not want to do the work. Who are your customers? What type of establishments are in demand in this community? What separates you from the rest? None of these questions was answered. These people don't know if they are a steak house or night club. The Ambiance is confusing. These people obviously do not understand the restaurant business. It's a shame that one of the most attractive pieces of commercial Real Estate in the city is being Misused. The food has improved immensely since they first opened. I live nearby and I would love to come visit often. Unfortunately, they have inconsistent bartenders, it's been a hit or miss in that department. A few times I have stopped in and the drinks and service are AMAZING at the bar, other days they are not up to par. Dined at Dominique's because it was new to Stonecrest, and it was a lovely experience! I had the crab cakes (they have a bit of a kick even without the sauce) and my husband had the seafood trio. The concept and ambience are good. That's where it ends. We dined on Sunday, and the service was horrible!! We were there three and a half hours. The server was inattentive and slow. finally, requested to speak with the manager(twice). When she finally arrived, she and the server proceeds to argue with me.. Another pig with lipstick. Restaurant trying to be upscale. The bartender says they are open because they are "better than Applebees and Smokey bones" for me this is a very low bar. Ordered pasta at a ridiculous price point. $26 for nothing but boxed noodles in a warmed up sauce. Gave my feed back and bartender stated I needed to be less critical because it's a black owned business. I would love for small businesses to succeed but not at my expense. The price point for what they are serving isn't equal. Nothing on the menu was something you couldn't make at home after quick trip to the grocery store. And should you be feeling lazy and not want to go to the grocery store you can eat at the Applebee's or the Smokey bones which they say they aren't like...but they are...when it comes to food. I was super excited for a nice dining establishment to be in Stonecrest. I read the reviews and was hopeful; only to be let down something serious. The restaurant has promise but first we waited and had to have another nice lady that was there for a company party to summon someone to seat us. We waited for over 8-10 minutes to the point that I was about to leave. And several servers just passed by us like they didn't even see us standing there. After being seated, I immediately told the server that I wanted lemonade so that she can get us started since the wait was so long. Nasty! Had to be changed because I guess it was out. The server was nice though. We ordered the Rasta Pasta. The noodles were undercooked but I was really trying to be nice because I treated my employee to lunch and I didn't want her to see me like that. Over $75 for subpar service and food. I was in the Stonecrest area and decided to just pop into this restaurant fand sat at the bar for a quick drink with a friend. I hadn't eaten today so decided to order an appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) one taste was all that I needed it was dense, tasteless and not fresh. The manager took 6.00 of my bill to compensate (keep in mind that while I appreciated the gesture, I was not expecting it. My friend order a simple salad with veggies which looked fresh so I asked the food server to duplicate that same salad but in the larger size to go. It took a reasonable amount of time for it come out and when it did it was in a tiny styro container. I asked why it was so tiny only to be told that that was what I requested (it was not) I remined her that I wanted the same salad that my friend had but in the larger size. the server didn't even try to make it right. she didn't apologize for the mistake (nothing). After paying $45.88 for 2 drinks and 2 salads and the artichoke dip I was so disappointed and hungry I just went home. I will NEVER go there again; all it takes is one time for me. So yesterday a friend of mines and I went out to eat at this new restaurant Dominque's at Stonecrest! We got there at 6:30 but didn't eat until 8:30 and no they wasn't packed at all. Every time they brought our food out it was cold one over cooked so of course we sent it back. Once we got the food it wasn't good but we ate it. When we got the check my friend asked the manager if she could give us a discount for the inconvenience and the fact we was there so long. The manager stated she couldn't because she re cooked the food, as she should. Remind you I haven't said nothing. So then my friend told them to take her to go order off she didn't want it. She then tell the manager to get her manager. Why the manager walks over there and I look up and DeKalb County police is at our table. I finally said something like really you called the police and we haven't did anything nor got loud or disrespectful! Better yet we was still slipping on our drinks! I look up again there's another police came in. The manager then states I was told y'all wasn't paying for your food. So I'm like ok if they told you that why not come talk to us like requested instead of calling the cops. Now my friend check was 150 mines was 70 but I literally got my card out waiting to pay. I'm pissed! How should I handle this! read more
