I have no clue if other Boston pizza have wings but I stopped to get gas and was hungry so I was going to grab a slice on the way to a friends when I noticed they had wings so I ended up getting a slice and wings. The wings were cooked perfectly good with or without sauce. I had the Westerner slice it's spicy and sweet it was delicious. The kids that were running the place were nice and fast at their job I was in and out within minutes. I asked if they could leave my slice in the oven to make it crispy and it was perfect when it came out. The sitting situation is small inside, they have about three tables to sit at but the beach park is just down the road and let's face it we live in Hawaii and 95% of the time weather is great so go to the beach eat pizza and wings not sure how you can not love that. read more

There is a small parking lot in the front but people are usually coming and going quickly from the spots to go in and grab pizza. Each time we have been, the service has been efficient and the people working have been pretty laid back. The pizza itself is on the thinner side but pretty large. The prices are a bit high for a slice of pizza but the quality is consistent. Our favorites are the spinach and garlic and Boston's Special pizzas. In Hawaii it's always hard to find genuinely good East Coast style pizza, but thankfully a chance situation of convenience helped us find this one. I had been to some of their other locations, and just didn't like them for whatever reason. The pizzas are great here, which may be from the staff that makes them. These are thin style pizzas, the sauce is on the sweet side, with soft crust without being gooey or soggy (some pet peeves). I tried slices of the veggie and plain on the first visit; slices are a 1/4 of a pie which is fun. Just to see if it was still good, we ordered a fresh plain on another occasion and loved it. Prices are reasonable for their pies, with various toppings and combinations offered or make your own. This isn't as much about the pizza but the CLEANLINESS and ORGANIZATION of the establishment. This location needs some major attention to cleanliness. Its unappealing and just looks like no one cares. Yes, the pizza is good, but it can all go down the drain if the inside of the establishment is unsanitary, suspicious of cleanliness, and disorganized. My favorites are the big western or carbonara. They also have some special pizza of the day that is different from their normal selections. Located next to the 7-11 and Veterinary Hospital in Hahaione. It is small place currently with no seating due to COVID. The pizza is very good and the staff is friendly. We wanted a half of meat lovers but they only had pepperoni ready, so one of the workers said that he would just add on the other meats to make it a meat lovers. The slices are 1/4 of a large pizza and between $6-8 each. So that comes out to between $20-30 for a pizza. This family run pizza shop is a Hawai'i kai must do. It's a bit of a hidden gem, as it's not in the major shopping areas in Hawaii kai but rather tucked next to a gas station. I have three boys (currently age 4) but this was the first place I ever took them for pizza....they were a little over age 2. this was pre-COVID times so, we went and ordered slices, one for me, one for my dad, and one for the three boys to split (the pieces are huge). They took one bite and it was on! I had to turn over half of my slice while rushing to get another two slices ordered. They ate it all. I ended up getting one more for me....so in the end, we should have ordered a whole pie. Lesson learned and never forgotten. Hawaii Kai's Boston Style Pizza has been in Hawaii Kai for around 20 years, yet, you forget it is there. I know I forgot! I used to eat here often when I was much younger with friends where I've tried everything. My go to pizza has always been the garlic and spinach. My friends would be aghast that I'm having vegetables on a pizza and not pepperoni and extra cheese. As years gone by, the Costco pizza is too much of a good deal, and thus, Boston's is forgotten. However, now that Costco has suddenly X'ed its Combo pizza and decided to lower its food quality and customer service during this pandemic, I can't help but to say, "forget them!" We always called Hawaii Kai's Boston Style Pizza as "Boston's." It is known. It's located right next to 7-11 and Hele Gas Station along Hawaii Kai Drive at the corner of Pepe'eko St. There's a decent amount of parking space to pick up your pizza and go (currently, takeout only). The pricing for the pizza goes by amount of toppings. Starting at Cheese at $6.21 goes to 1-3 toppings at $6.92, $7.40, $7.88, and jumps to 5 toppings at $8.38. None of their pizzas have more than five toppings (and apparently not four either, which seems like a very Chinese thing to do haha), and extra toppings is 72 cents per and extra cheese is $1.42. There's 16 selections you can choose from. All the pizzas are already made in the display case, and reheated in the oven when ordered. They can make a fresh one for you if it's unavailable, but you need to wait a while. On this occasion, I skipped the Spinach and Garlic and opted for the Boston Special. It's a five topping one with pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, onions, and mushroom. Your order is actually two slices that equates to a quarter of a whole pizza, and the slices are HUGE. The pizza was good and tasty, and very filling. The topping were fresh, but spread out unevenly. One slice had all the bell peppers and the other had all the onion. The crust was good, but the bottom part wasn't crispy or hard enough to withstand the weight of the cheese and toppings, so you can't pick up like a normal pizza because it'll go limp and everything will slide off. Folding it didn't work either! Needed two (sanitized and clean) hands. A big plus was the pizza wasn't oily at all, so you don't feel too bad eating it. Overall, a good, solid pizza with good customer service. Sure it's a little expensive and can't compare to Costco prices, but you get better quality here and less dough. The only thing I can't agree with here is their support of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. As a fan of the Dolphins and Rockets, I'm required to hate those teams. I'd be okay if they took those down and put up Red Sox and Bruins things. read more

And you might even have leftovers or it might last for a couple of nights depending how much you eat. As one who normally makes meals at home and has an extremely busy personal life, there are the few times when I am not in the mood to have to make those meals and need to do a take-out occasionally. This is a good pizza place to check out...nothing too unusual about the pizzas themselves unlike other eateries I've been to over the years, but the ingredients are pretty good overall. I'm so happy I decided to drop in here, as this location has a few great things going on here, they are - 1. A large variety of pizza selections! 2. Lots of free parking, as the private parking lot is shared with 7-Eleven. 3. Da pizza here is deeeeeelicious! I was missing on my "Big Red", but got my Big Red fix by coming here! 4. Fast & friendly service, as I was greeted right away when I walked in, and the clerk took care of me right away. Prices here are on point, & in line with the other Boston Style pizza joints. Got pizza tonight. Order the Boston , a three topping with pepperoni-sausage-spinach, and a slice. All of them were super limp and under cooked. Called just to ask how I should order them in the future and was told "maybe ask for crispy ". This spot is always hit or miss for me. Either it's awesome or it's like it was tonight. Never anything in the middle. Disappointed because even my kids won't eat it. Feels like a major waste of $80. Our favorite place for a New York slice (even though it's called Boston pizza) in the Hawaii Kai area! It's every bit as yummy as the Kaimuki Boston Pizza but SO MUCH easier to find parking! It's right off the gas station so never any troiuble. My husband is a New Yorker so he is picky about his pizza!!! We like the plain cheese and always get it "counter cooked" so we can heat it up in our oven at home. They are so great to offer to cut it into smaller slices if you want. When you've been living in Hawaii Kai all of your life and then they decide to change their business practice. You expect to hit up Boston's on your way home from work when you don't want to cook dinner at your local spot. Well guess what there's no slices.
