The western and meat lovers with wings
    Billy G.

I have no clue if other Boston pizza have wings but I stopped to get gas and was hungry so I was going to grab a slice on the way to a friends when I noticed they had wings so I ended up getting a slice and wings. The wings were cooked perfectly good with or without sauce. I had the Westerner slice it's spicy and sweet it was delicious. The kids that were running the place were nice and fast at their job I was in and out within minutes. I asked if they could leave my slice in the oven to make it crispy and it was perfect when it came out. The sitting situation is small inside, they have about three tables to sit at but the beach park is just down the road and let's face it we live in Hawaii and 95% of the time weather is great so go to the beach eat pizza and wings not sure how you can not love that.

Boston's Pizza is one of my favorite pizza place in Hawaii! They always serve great pizza. I highly recommend everyone to try a pizza from there!

They make good pizza! It's that simple. Can be a little pricey, but has that homemade taste and look. Good ingredients and staff is pretty friendly. It might be hard to find if you've never been here. It's at the gas station parking lot. Parking lot is small, but most people aren't staying parked for more than a few minutes.

A reliable option in Hawaii Kai near 7-11, Boston's Pizza is a small pizza spot with a solid variety of options. The place itself is small with an entrance that leads to the counter, where there is a case of pizza options and a register to check out. There is a small parking lot in the front but people are usually coming and going quickly from the spots to go in and grab pizza. Each time we have been, the service has been efficient and the people working have been pretty laid back. The pizza itself is on the thinner side but pretty large. The prices are a bit high for a slice of pizza but the quality is consistent. Our favorites are the spinach and garlic and Boston's Special pizzas. Both are flavorful with a good amount of toppings added on. We'll be back and recommend this spot for anyone looking for a regular pizza place!

In Hawaii it's always hard to find genuinely good East Coast style pizza, but thankfully a chance situation of convenience helped us find this one. I had been to some of their other locations, and just didn't like them for whatever reason. The pizzas are great here, which may be from the staff that makes them. These are thin style pizzas, the sauce is on the sweet side, with soft crust without being gooey or soggy (some pet peeves). I tried slices of the veggie and plain on the first visit; slices are a 1/4 of a pie which is fun. Just to see if it was still good, we ordered a fresh plain on another occasion and loved it. Prices are reasonable for their pies, with various toppings and combinations offered or make your own. It's a tiny spot with a hand full of tables inside; I love that the staff are always watching fun movies to pass the time. It's definitely more of a to-go place. It's easily located in Hawaii Kai, making it a neighborhood spot, right at a gas station so it's easy to bring home.

Pizza is always good here, love that the service is fast, you pick your pizza at the counter and they rewarm it in the oven so that it's fresh again! 12/2024 Recently they had wings so we tried it and loved it! The outside was crispy and the inside was moist!! Thought it would've been frozen wings but it didn't seem like it , would definitely order it again and now we don't have to stop of Safeway to get some wings!

Absolutely delicious! I had the spinach & garlic slice! I'm not a local, I was on vacation from California. I have to ask what is the sauce so I can attempt to make this delicious pizza?!

(Tookout 10/30/24 WE @ 1:30pm and one previous time): Boston-style pizza in Hawaii... I'm game! It was Game 5 of the 2024 MLB World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, and I wanted to stay home this time to watch the game, so I decided to walk to Hawaii Kai's Boston Pizza down at the corner for a simple dinner solution instead of walking to Kona Brewing Co. almost two miles away as I did for the previous two games. I loved pizza to no end and always attempted to try any parlor I found wherever I was at. And, this gave me the opportunity to further explore the cuisine in and around Hawaii Kai. As for "Boston" in the name, I couldn't find anything definitive why. Was this Beantown pizza worth a try out here on an island in the Pacific Ocean!? PURCHASE 19" Meat Lover's Specialty Pizza w/Jalapeños ($33.38 + $4.78): Gigantic! Built with bacon, ham, Italian sausage, pepperoni, Portuguese sausage, and red sauce, in addition to jalapeños because I felt it needed some kind of vegetable, this gave me immediate meat sweats as I gazed upon it. With the option of having it sliced into 4's, 8's, or 16's, I chose the latter. I picked up my first slice and the weight of the toppings made it limp. Once I guided it into my mouth, the meatgasm began! Everything was fresh, and I was able to distinctly taste the bacon, Italian sausage and Portuguese sausage. The jalapeño added a nice contrast and spiciness. The crust was thin and needed to be thicker to handle all of the toppings. Surprisingly, it had a pandesal taste which I loved! I was able to make this last for a couple of days which saved me some money. However, this had to be the most expensive whole pizza I've ever bought. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=6cEnt-6yLVVlR6lXTxzRsA SERVICE I entered, easily walked up to the front counter, placed my order with a tall young man, paid, and waited around for about 15 minutes before he called my name when my pie was ready. Everything was easy-peasy - mahalo! PARKING (FREE; N/A this instance) Located on a busy corner that shared the spot with a gas station and a 7-Eleven, there were a few spots. I walked, so this wasn't an issue. Otherwise, there were plenty of spots along the main residential drag of Pepeekeo Pl. but none along the high-trafficked street of Hawaii Kai Dr. - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Basically a takeout place with a couple small chairs/tables, some random stuff stored in a corner, a display case https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=FywKJ_8-bP32byoV3fZWWA where you also placed your order, a small waiting area https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=iwGdHN8fEm9NeBd3lWkSIw where one of the price boards https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=jNVReo8o6731fUd3d5Y43A was located, and an assortment of framed pictures https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=D6wP8WorlVtknanQrnuihQ of Boston sports teams hung on the wall. Decent natural lighting came through the front door and window while soul-sucking fluorescent electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were no TVs while a radio played music in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=khXJY1CEQ6dCggydX22MFA ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I loved the simplicity, straightforwardness, and proximity of Hawaii Kai's Boston Pizza that I would certainly return. The pizza's size was its attraction while the taste was fine but nothing special, the prices definitely on the higher end, and the service was but honestly nothing was a I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $40.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

    Big red whole pizza!!!
    Suri S.

Overall, Boston Style Pizza is great if you like that thin pizza kine. My personal favorite is the Big Red if I'm feeling like I want more veggies and if I'm in the meat mood, I'll do Meat Lovers. Some of the pizza slices Individually can be hit/miss depending on what time you're coming. Some days have tasted fresher/better than other times. Service has been overall good and easy to call in your order for takeout. It does take some time so make sure to call ahead.

After looking over the menu options, we stood waiting for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us or took our order. The manager seemed rude and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. Looking back we should have trusted our first impression, but we decided to give it a chance and see what the hype was about. We each ordered a slice of pizza and took it outside to eat. After eating , we walked past the glass wall of the cafe and I noticed the manager handling and mixing flour with his bare hands, with the flour mixture covering his hands and forearms. I didn't expect to see food prep without disposable gloves and it made me uncomfortable. The pizza itself didn't make up for the experience. At around $22 per slice, I was expecting something exceptional or life-changing, instead, it was pretty underwhelming. The flavor, texture, and overall quality just didn't justify the premium price. Between the unfriendly service, concerns about food handling, and the disappointing pizza, I don't feel the experience was worth the cost of overpriced slices of pizza and I will not be returning nor will I recommend Little G Cafe to others. There are plenty of other pizza spots in Honolulu, including Boston's Pizza, that offer better value and a much more welcoming atmosphere.

There aren't much frills so you can have water or soda from their mini fridge. Almost like going to a corner pizza place in the city. Sandwiches available sometimes. We go early for lunch on Sundays and grab a seat outside. The proprietor was especially kind and friendly to my FIL and I appreciated that. Overall this is the second best NY style pizza place after black shamrock by a small margin - the Jersey pie at shamrock with its awesome sauce and perfect crust is hard to beat but don't think you can order it by the slice. So very very close.

I visited years ago and had a great meal, so I wonder if ownership or kitchen staff has changed, because the quality has noticeably dropped. Service-wise, our appetizer and pasta arrived in a timely manner. However, our pizza took a long time to come out. We noticed a table seated and ordered after us received their pizza first, which was confusing, though we figured they might have a specific order system in place. As for the food, almost every dish was wildly under-seasoned. I tend to use very little salt myself, but dish after dish was simply bland. We even overheard the table next to us--who ordered completely different menu items--complaining about the exact same issue. Beyond the lack of seasoning: Beets: Far too pungent from an overpowering vinegar taste. Pizza: A typical thin, floppy Neapolitan style, but the crust tasted like burnt ash. Pasta: A total bust with virtually no flavor. We regret not speaking up to management to give them a chance to fix it, but the experience was a letdown. While the restaurant has great ambiance, the lack of flavor means we likely won't be back. Rating: 2.5 / 5

Lately I've been dining on soups like pho and ramen, lamb curry stews, and snacking on real fruit smoothies, and I felt like I needed a change of pace. However, I didn't realize I had this burning desire until I saw the foodie pics here on Yelp. It was then that I seriously wondered how I could inject a little more variety into my foodie repertoire. I saw this restaurant listed on Yelp and immediately thought, Ooh, what about Italian??? :D Myself replied: Mmm, that sounds tantalizing, Jules Y.! :D After perusing the menu to make sure I wasn't gonna miss out on a thing, it only took a few seconds for me to hone in on the two items I ultimately ordered: * 16" Florentine pizza (gigante) * Gnocchi Gorgonzola with added mushrooms I added mushrooms to the gnocchi dish, which was a fantastic decision I would not want to go without on future dines of this dish. The pizza was a thin crust topped with luscious mozzarella, rough-chopped garlic, spinach, and ricotta cheese. The gnocchi contained chicken chunks, potato gnocchi, luscious cream sauce, and the mushrooms I added. The Florentine immediately caught my eye. I'm particular about not eating sausage, pepperoni, and other typical pizza meats, so this cheese-and-spinach combination was exactly what I was looking for. I expected something around a medium-sized pizza, but what arrived was this unexpectedly large pie sitting inside a huge, flat pizza box. It seemed enormous! The crust was thin with a nicely fire-charred edge, while the center was packed with luscious cheesy goodness. Random dollops of ricotta, spinach leaves, and these entirely unexpected little chunks of fresh, soft, juicy garlic created little flavor explosions throughout every bite. It made eating the pizza fun because each slice was a little different. Although I thought I was hungry enough to eat a lion, I naturally stopped after only a couple of slices. That turned out to be a bonus because I had delicious leftovers for lunches and dinners over the next couple of days. The Gnocchi Gorgonzola was a different experience altogether. Tender potato gnocchi were coated in a thick, luscious cream sauce with chunks of chicken scattered throughout. The mushrooms I added were thinly sliced and blended in perfectly with the gnocchi, chicken, and creamy sauce. My only criticism is that the dish was saltier than I would have preferred. I think using about half as much salt would have allowed the flavors of the gnocchi and sauce to shine through even more. Aside from that, every bite was pleasantly chewy, rich, creamy, and satisfying. The sauce was everywhere--and that is definitely a good thing. Yum! These two dishes complemented each other perfectly because they offered completely different flavors and textures. The rich, cheesy Florentine pizza paired wonderfully with the creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola. If I eat here again, I'll probably order these exact same dishes. If you enjoy Italian food as much as I do, I suspect you'll enjoy Aroma Italia's menu.
