Quite possibly the worst pizza I've had in a long while. And my expectations were low. It's a chain spot in a mall after all. Got it delivered which was fine, arrived warm. But that's where the positives end. Toppings were on par with a bad frozen pizza. Sparse, mushy, and dumped in the middle, which left a good two inches of dry, tasteless crust on the ends. I powered through a few slices because of the money spent, but I'm in no hurry to finish this thing. I actually have a lingering bitter taste in my mouth. Not really a pizza person. So this is the first time trying this location. Located in Kahala Mall its easy. Saw the promotion for flatbread called "Flatzz" and curiosity got the better of me. And if I didnt like it I could just share it... for the mere promotional price of $5..! Tho I actually did like it a lot. In fact, got one for lunch then later at different location got a different one for dinner! It's light, its crispy, its less oily than the regular pizza. I'm a fan. Download the app thinking it was an app special only to find out one can actually order by walking up to the counter. Even though I ordered on app and gave my credit card number for prepay, thought it odd that the counter person would print and make me sign the receipt in person. Not an issue... I will just order to pay in person next time. Prefer it that way. Being in Kahala Mall, parking is plentiful and free. Being in the mall might just mean you might have to wait in line to order and or pickup also. No dedicated line for mobile pickup. The topping on their pizza is little to none . I ordered a cheese pizza with Mushroom you hardly can see the mushrooms. Look at their Garden fresh there's no veggies. Ok, it's a Pizza Hut. It's what you would expect from a big box operation. This one is strictly take out with some seating that you can sit down and eat. Strictly counter purchase. Pizza Hut is a pretty "generic" pizza with no real standout identity. The offerings are decent for the most part, it's like going to McD, you know what to expect taste wise. Of course their strong suit is convenience- they are located in Kahala Mall and easy to access. Right across from Panda Express, right next to the Makai entrance. So after our hiccup with the Wahiawa location having workers that didn't know what a personal pan pizza was we decided to call the main number for all of the locations and were able to have the phone operator confirm that this location did have personal pizzas. Ok, so I realized this particular restaurant had a rather modest rating, but my mistake was "I didn't read the feedback" I just went ahead and ordered from here because the keikis wanted Pizza and we were close by. 50-100 A week ago Friday I ordered delivery from Pizza Hut Wahiawa, after a long day at work and sitting in traffic to get home. We placed our order at 6:24PM which came out to over $55 with tip. After waiting 45-min I called for a delivery update and was told the order was on its way. An hour later the order arrived. The pizzas were refrigerator cold, the cheese was rubbery, and the dough was like cardboard. I called and was routed to customer service who offered a $5 gift certificate for my inconvenience. I expressed that the offer was insulting. The representative connected me with the store manager who abruptly apologized and offered a refund. I accepted and the manager said it was done and hung up. A week later, still no refund credited back to us. I called customer service and was told a store manager would be in touch. We are still waiting. The professionalism, customer service, and quality of food is lacking at this location. We ended up tossing out most of the pizza because it was not edible once reheated. Beware of promos using app or online. It will screw you up and not give you the promo. Customer Service chat say they can't do anything and will "escalate" the issue, but no one ever gets back to you. Very frustrating. read more

The service here is horrible. I don't want to be "that" person, you know, a Karen. But management needs to train their employees better. My first experience here I was helped by a young man. I'm pretty sure it is his first job. I ordered a personal pan cheese pizza. I paid with cash. When I gave him the money, he disappeared to the back and came out with another employee (possibly a supervisor). I don't think he knew how to give back change! When he returned my change to me, he just put all the money, paper, and coins in my hand at once. Of course, the coins fell on the ground. Not even a sorry. Next, it took so long to get my food. I could see that they already had some personal pan pizzas in the warmer available for people who just walk in to order. But I still waited. Then, a group of people whom I assumed were the kid's family comes up to the counter and starters to bother him. They were filming him with their phones and talking to him. He was obviously embarrassed by this and it distracted him from doing his job. Management did nothing to address this issue. I ended up having to wait in line again to ask about my order. Anyway, I just went back today because we like to order taco bell whenever we come to Kahala mall. My daughter doesn't like tacos, though, so I ordered a personal pan pizza for her again. Once again, this same employee was running the register. I ordered and was waiting for a while again. So, once again I had to wait in line to ask about my pizza. I noticed there were some in the warmer. When I asked him about my order, all he said was "oh." No apology, nothing. Management, please train your employees to be my courteous and aware of what they're doing. I totally get that this is probably the kid's first job. Well the family does so that makes everything all right :) So we wanted to go to Kahala Mall for "The Very Merry Event" $5 Shopping Pass that gives you discounts to participating retailers throughout the mall. Christmas shopping was on my list, but apparantly food was on the family's list. We get there and usually the lines are long, but this time there was only one person in front of us. Pizza Hut was one of the participating retailers, and their deal was a BOGO. How can you not order pizza? We ordered the Large Garlic Knot Sausage Pizza and the Large Garlic Knot Pepperoni Pizza for $17.99, which was the best deal in the mall! Service was great, and it took about 15 minutes. Ordered my food online, that was easy and understandable. Went to grab it, young man at the front told me it wasn't ready. I then proceeded to wait 25 min for my name to be called. My kids love Pizza Hut for dinner and I really like their online ordering portal which gives you access to all their carryout deals. Sometimes it's just way easier to order a few $10 hand tossed pizzas and call it a night! I know all you parents can feel me! I also enjoy saving up all my Pizza Hut points to use on free supreme pizzas for my husband and I to eat on a random date night or UFC watching day! I've always had an okay experience picking up pizzas from here in the past, but their curbside contactless pick-up needs much work. Twice now I've tried to do the pick-up curbside where they come out to your car, and each time I've had to go inside to get my pizzas. I don't blame the nice young man who currently works at the counter, but rather Pizza Hut's operational system which is not the best at alerting them to a customer's arrival time. It's not a lot of work for me to walk inside, but I did feel for a mother with three young children in the backseat who was waiting for her curbside pick-up as the same time as me. I got tired of waiting and walked inside to get my pizza, and then went back in again to let them know she was waiting. Tried to call couldn't get through. After many attempts finally got a hold of call center she apologized for the long wait and said she understands the frustration but you're suppose to call and let them know you're there. The manager runs to go and get our order back from the customer. He brings it back and he tries to give it to us after it's been opened. We ask for our money back, since we are in a pandemic.
