So I've been here in Calabash Nc since 2015 and you guys use to deliver to my address 1131 Melvin St and it's been a good few yrs since you guys stopped delivering out here in calabash. Alright, I gave in to a moment of weakness. I was hungry and knew the fasted way to pizza was Domino's. I hoped for something that would just hit the spot. Not sure how it was only lukewarm with only a 15 minute drive but it was disappointingly cool on arrival. Overcooked. Skimpy toppings. $20 plus tip for a subpar pizza. With all the really good places around these chain restaurants really need to just give it up. Don't order Domino's you'll be disappointed. Wait time could be long when you call but some times its quick. We enjoy the parm bread bites and the buffalo chicken pizza. Also the chicken is good too. The workers are polite and friendly. Good deals going on. A great variety of food and everything is always fresh and delicious. The brownies are good too. We order pick up and it all goes smoothly except for one time they got our order wrong but they made it right plus let us keep the wrong order. Good customer service. Probably has been at least 5 years since I ordered a Domino's pizza, and with a bite into one slice, now I remember why I don't buy Domino's pizza. Always cold on arrival, always a 30 minute Quality check, followed by a 20 min. delivery or more. The pizza is so frigging salty, ugggh, blood pressure problem for sure! If you care at all about covid or germs in general maybe don't get your pizza here. In the middle of a pandemic you would hope the people handling your food would be wearing masks but the two people in the back aren't wearing masks at all and the two other workers masks are over their mouths but not their noses. Total bullshit. They close early every damn night and call you to tell you some bullshit excuse like. "Our driver is busy" or " the oven is shut off". Don't even bother ordering from this location! You've been warned. It's best to just take your business to papa John's! The employees at this location are the RUDEST people you will ever encounter! We are on vacation in sunset, and we placed an order on the app. Following The order were called multiple times by Hannah who told us they wouldn't make our order then called back by Cindy the so called " manager" of the store called us back twice and verbally harassed us through a PERSONAL phone number, screamed at us and refused to make our order that we payed for on the app then HUNG UP on us all because the store closed at 12 and we called at 11:30 and she told us that she turned the ovens off so she wouldn't make our food. When we called back to see if we could get a refund for the order we had PAYED FOR ( because she failed to even be considerate, kind, helpful or understanding about the situation) she threatened to call the cops on us for calling a " personal number back" . Why would you call a customer from PERSONAL NUMBER when you have a store phone and then get mad if they call back with a question? We called back the next day and spoke to sage the other store manager, who begged us not to call corporate because they would " harass him and make his life hell" told us that he would honor a free order of any amount and made a note of it and whenever we wanted it to call back. So we did, and we were told that they wouldn't honor the EXACT ORDER that we had previously placed, that we were only allowed to get 3 pizzas of a 5.99 value when our order was actually $45+ for all the people in our house. The told us that sage had forgot to tell us that it was only for 3 medium pizzas. How do you forget to tell customers something when you TOOK DOWN THEIR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER? It's not about the food, it's about the way we have been screamed at by multiple employees who should not be in the customer service industry. I don't know who's running this place above management but y'all are failing miserably ! Ordered $70 worth of pizza and sides to be delivered tonight (delivery was about half an hour later than quoted); once we got it inside, discovered 2 items were missing. Called the store, asked for the money for the 2 missing items to be returned to our credit card. They indicated they couldn't do that--they could either deliver the missing items in about 2 hours, or issue a credit to our "account". Huh? What kind of customer service is that? I don't have an "account" with them, as I ordered as a guest, and I would bet if I tried to call them later this week and ask for the 2 items, they'll have no record that I'm owed. The food we did get was "eh" anyway. Usually order at least once from them when we're here annually, but no more. Doubt it will matter to them, but if they keep treating people this way, eventually it will affect the bottom line. read more
