Actually insane customer service from this Domino's. We placed a DELIVERY order, waited around 40 minutes, and then got a call SIX minutes before the pizza was supposedly ready saying they "can't deliver" because we're "out of city limits." Be so serious. We are literally 7 miles away. So somehow your system can take our order, charge us, and waste almost an hour of our time... but nobody realized we were "too far" until the very last second? Right. Then when we explained that we had been drinking and couldn't drive, the employee got rude and acted like that was somehow our problem to figure out. Sorry, but if you advertise delivery maybe customers expect... delivery? Crazy concept, I know. The attitude was honestly worse than the mistake itself. Talking over us, refusing to help, refusing to let us speak to a manager, and then hanging up on us like middle schoolers working a prank call line instead of an actual business. And after all that? The ONLY thing they did was refund the order. No apology, no credit, no "hey sorry we completely wasted your night." Nothing. We sat around hungry for almost an hour just to get attitude and a dial tone. If your delivery radius can't handle someone 7 miles away, maybe fix the app instead of blaming customers after the fact. Let's face it: as far as pizza goes in this town, there's a lot of room for improvement but not a lot of hope. After swearing off Domino's for the past 5 years, we decided to give it another try. Pizza was fine but not as good as Little Caesars. The really low point of our meal was the new Buffalo Mac & cheese. The container was less than half filled with said pasta. We were all astonished by the audacity of this establishment to just flat out serve something like this. It's really disrespectful, deceitful, and rude. Food is most of the time prepared as ordered and usually pretty good. Food gets a solid 3 stars, however, customer service is way below a 1 star. I do not find it appropriate for the supposed manager, Alex, to ask to see my bank statements after it was already paid for and shown in the app. Very unprofessional and failed to see the large PAID text on each of the receipts placed on the boxes of pizza. Got even more inconvenient when he asked that I pay twice and later come back to get my money. Very unethical and very sketchy. No restaurant has ever asked me to provide my bank statements. Pretty much the worst experience possible. We called and ordered a pizza and was told 30 minutest later that they cannot deliver to us because our house was more than 30 minutes rpund trip. Except its not. Mapquest says it is 10 minutes one way and if you times that by two pretty sure that is under 30 minutes. Then we talked to a manager who refused to deliver to us. Delivery service takes at least an hour. They keep messing up a simple order of two medium two topping pizzas. How hard is it to get that right? Ordered my pizza online which was a simple easy process. Watched the tracker and when my pizza arrived around 45 min later it was sub-par. I ordered a simple chicken, bacon and mushroom pizza. The box top was smashed in and my pizza looked like a 3 year old thew toppings at it and was burnt on the bottom. The delivery person was nice but when asked about the extra dipping sauce I ordered, she promptly addressed the fact that it was not her job to grab it because it should have been stated on the order. After she left, I looked at my order and it was on there as an option. Well after my review of Domino's on Yelp. I was contacted by Domino's public relation, Called by local manager and received an apology. They also credited me with 2 large pizzas.
