Their pizza is really good and fresh. The delivery time is not long. Customer service is great. I appreciate the hard work.

Stone House Tavern is an awesome restaurant we found during our recent expedition to Waynesville…read moreOhio. It had a very large menu of various items ranging from burgers to wings, bar food and a lot more. We started with an appetizer of sauerkraut balls which was a ball of sauerkraut, cream cheese, sausage which was fried and served with a mustard dipping sauce. It was really sauerkraut forward in the flavour but good all the same. For my main course I of course went for wings. I got traditional bone in with 2 flavours one being bbq and the other being what they called "Destroyer". The bbq was a basic sweet bbq with some smokey flavour and was quite good (and extremely sticky and messy which most good wings are). I liked the destroyer even more as it's their hottest wing flavour and while it did bring the heat it also brought plenty of awesome flavour too. The wings were pretty big and perfectly cooked as well. For dessert we had bread pudding which was served with ice cream and was super tasty. The restaurant was beautiful and since it was a nice day outside we sat out on the porch for our lunch. The service was top notch as well. This was an awesome lunch experience and I definitely intend to make the trek to come back here.

NOT a "d i v e bar" by any stretch of the imagination…read more This is a charming tavern with old school ambiance, sturdy wooden bar, tables, and chairs (not stools). The bar room has two little "snuggery" areas in the windows up front and we sat in one today when we came for brunch. Fifteen beers on tap. Great classic rock feed. Two additional dining rooms and a big outdoor seating area that actually looks comfortable. The regular menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps and mains looked really good, but it was 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, right after church, and Doc's serves up breakfast all day Sunday! Including a $7 Bloody with salt rim, lime wedge and three olives - as spicy as you want it. Loved. My husband had the breakfast bowl and was amazed at the quantity and quality of the food. The sliced fresh mushrooms were especially notable. For me, Chicken and Waffles is the very essence of Sunday Brunch, and I was quite pleased. Also a hearty serving, two big chicken cutlets and two thick waffles dusted with powdered sugar. I took half home and finished it for supper. Ask for the Sriracha Syrup on the side, and if you're not a Sriracha fan they will give you regular syrup on request. I got both! When we arrived there was just one other couple at the bar who had already ordered food, but over the next 30 minutes at least ten people in various groupings came in and some went to the dining room. There was just one gal, the bartendress, to wait on everyone and she did a great job keeping up with it all, even checking on us. I'm sorry I did not get her name, but it was Sunday March 8th and she deserves big shoutout. I recommend Doc's and plan to return. Get in here.

By this time it was almost 230 pm on a Saturday. Greg welcomed us and got us our drinks and we ordered the same cheeseburger with fries and aioli sauce for dipping. The only difference between our orders was my BFF wanted her burger to MOO and I wanted mine more med-well. They not only got the order right, we both got the cheeseburger we wanted. Cleaned out plates - we were starving! Prices were reasonable. Staff was awesome. Food was fantastic. Super happy we hit it up and would totally go back the next time I'm in town.

Florentine Our…read moreschedule for today mandates a journey to Greenville, OH for a funeral for a member of Sons of the American Revolution. It is a fantastic early fall drive, and the farmland north of I-70 is inviting. The ancient village of Germantown is calling as is the ancient Florentine Pub. The ancient bar in this ancient pub is remarkable. The long string of owners over the past 60 years have done nothing to improve or update the property, and it seems much as it was 60 years ago. In the past the Florentine provide a great Sunday Buffet, which has been downgraded to a Sunday Brunch. Today we have interest in the Beer-Battered Fish Platter - two generous tavern-style fillets, beer battered and fried golden. served with coleslaw and a side. First I ascertain that the fish is Not tilapia - never order tilapia. - Fish is cod; frozen, but a nice meal. I elect a baked potato (leftover from last night,) but fine. The star of the meal is fresh green salad. Paula is the all in one hostess, server, and cashier. Paula is wonderful and a 5 0f 5. We are thinking that the floor requires a refinishing, and the restaurant would profit from a deep cleaning. All in all, a neat nostalgic visit to 1966. We recommend
