Very friendly staff and our order was ready within 10 minutes. Great location. This is our go to for takeout pizza.

It's what you might think of as a cheese pizza, the add garlic and fresh basil to the mix and it is a wonderful result. It's a hand tossed pizza with a fairly thin crust. The chew and the flavors are excellent. The staff are friendly, but don't wait on the tables, you order at the counter, they deliver you eat happily. They have TVs playing one soccer or F1 racing feed or another. It' is a European feel for sure. They have picnic tables indoors and a few small chairs outdoors with a bit of shade. Bring your dog for the outdoors maybe? My friends have done so. Capella has a large selection of bottled drinks, gelato and other Italian desserts. But the pizza is the headliner.

I was pleased that the had a large variety of options but even had gelato and desserts as well. Large pizzas run $21-$27 are thin crust. For pizzas, we got two of their Margheritas, Meat Buster and Palermo. They were all good and a hit at the family party. The meat Buster and Palermo had meat but honestly not a whole lot. They were good though. All the pizzas were lots of flavor and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I loved that they had chili oil, extra dipping sauce, cheese, and peppers on the side for you to grab. While our time there we even had some gelato which was good and got some cheese cake to go. Our pizzas came out quick. The shop is very large with plenty of places to sit, even good for a large party. I loved that they even had plates on the table ready to go. This was a solid pizza spot and worth checking out if you prefer thinner crust.

Some family friends from Huntsville swear by it and got it while staying with my mom in Bham, so we tried them out during my recent visit. I ordered us the Angel pizza. Had no idea Emmy's pizza was a Detroit style, which I love! The Angel comes with Ricotta, truffle cream, mushrooms, parsley pesto- all good things. The pizza was good and we enjoyed but this flavor was probably just a little too much cream so I'd check out another flavor next time or build my own. I could use more of a red sauce base for Detroit style. Did takeout from The Summit- was mostly quick in and out. Hot, Freshly made and the crispy edges I adore. I like how their two sizes are listed on the website as sixer and tener. It's def not cheap but I guess not horribly priced either. With multiple locations in Nashville maybe I'll try them again eventually, or just default to my favorite, Jets, again which is close to home. But if you want somewhere with Detroit style pizza to go sit down and dine, Emmy Squared can be your move.

We also got the Ang pizza, which was a vodka sauce. The crust was crispy on the edges and also fluffy in the middle. The service was pretty good, it didn't take long for our pizza and it was semi-busy. This is our second time coming here and we definitely had a better experience this time. The pizza is kind of expensive compared to how much you get so I don't think I would come here often.

It's conveniently located, and the surrounding area feels sweet and homey. Inside, the tall ceilings and cozy fireplace give it a warm, inviting atmosphere; especially perfect on colder winter nights. They also have a patio that's great for enjoying the sunshine when the weather is nice! My little brother and I come here anytime we don't feel like cooking. It's definitely our guilty pleasure. If one of us says, "Hey, want to grab dinner tonight?" we both already know we're headed to Slice. We keep it simple and split their classic pepperoni pizza, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, and the pizzas are made to order in a wood-fired brick oven. They offer amazing salads, pastas, and just about every type of pizza you can imagine. What keeps my brother coming back, though, is the crust. It's not thin and overly crispy like chain spots such as Domino's Pizza or Pizza Hut. Instead, it strikes the perfect balance between soft and firm. The center is tender, while the outer crust has structure without being too crunchy. What keeps me coming back is their sauce- it's also far from bland! It's rich and full of authentic Italian flavor!

The décor is stylish and gives off a fantastic vibe. Now, let's talk about what makes a restaurant shine--food! The pizza here is just okay--kind of plain with barely any sauce, and it often comes out a bit burnt in both taste and look. At most pizza spots, it's the sauce, cheese, or toppings that keep you coming back, but here, you won't be tempted by those details. As for service--kudos to the one hardworking waiter who dances around just to keep everything moving! You'll notice over a dozen team members on hand, but strangely, only one tends to the tables. I've visited more than once, and sadly, the service hasn't improved between trips. If you're here for the scene and atmosphere, Slice is your go-to! But if you're craving delicious food and attentive service, you might want to check out another favorite spot.

We were trying to decide what we wanted to eat, and I was able to make a reservation for nine at North Italia, which was surprising to me, but I guess the time that we went which was about 4 o'clock it was not that busy. I actually have the same server I had when I was in there December for a Christmas brunch. Nichole L. Was our server and she was very attentive and did give us some good suggestions on dishes. However, because there were nine of us, she had mentioned that they don't usually split up the bill however, she spoke to her manager was able to do so. I don't understand why this restaurant has this policy. It makes it difficult to go out in a group. There was an 18% gratuity added to our bill, but it was up to you if you wanted to add to it or get rid of it, I added to the tip. I got the chicken Parmesan, which I had had in the past. It was delicious as always, and I split it into two different meals. I will definitely be back here sooner than later

The shrimp Scampi was also fantastic, with the garlic and olive oil pairing together beautifully. On top of the great food, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place had been recommended to me so I figured I'd try it. I got 1 bacon pizza, 1 Pepperoni, and a order of Buffalo wings. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This pizza was mid at best it was just okay. Reminded me of generic pizza, like if you told me it was frozen pizza I'd believe you. It was like when Little Ceasars use to be bad because we all know they have gotten a lot better over the years. The pizza was really doughy. Like right on the verge of being raw dough. They put the toppings under the cheese so it was like I only had cheese pizza on one of them. It was a floppy mess and the sauce overpowered everything. Couldn't taste the Pepperoni or bacon and the cheese was a bit bland. 6/10 The wings were pretty good even though they ignored how I wanted them cooked. I wanted them extra well done like the option gave me on the app. We did not get that. They were a bit soggy but I have to admit they were still pretty good. Whatever Buffalo sauce they use absolutely said it. 7/10 All in all this place was decent but this would be low on my list of ever spending my money here again. I have been trying to try this place for awhile and when I finally did it was a huge let down.
