Located just outside the park... we had some to spare while waiting for our ride to leave the park... and we decided to stop here for a funnel cake. If it wasn't because I had promised my kid I would get him a funnel cake... I would of walked out. This place is just run down ugly looking. Can't believe knotts leaves this place like this But our funnel cake was good no complaints

Funnel cake - boysenberry + strawberry

The funnel cake at Knotts Berry is the best by far! However, the best place to get this glorious funnel cake is Sutter's Funnel cake inside the park - in Ghost Town. Now I don't want to buy an entrance ticket for funnel cake, the thought has crossed my mind, so I'll settle for second best. Thankfully the wonderful people at Knotts have provided a way to enjoy their delectable funnel cake right outside their park. If you're traversing the Knotts boardwalk (think of a mini downtown Disney) then stop on in and get your fix. They have your standard (albeit delicious) strawberry and of course, their signature boysenberry. Always top it off with ice cream! The one's I get at Cable Car Kitchen just aren't as crisp as the one's they serve at Sutter's - maybe they place the best fry cooks inside the park? Parking in the park is going to set you back a pretty penny, if you don't mind the trek, you can park in some residential areas but be aware of the business parking, they will tow you. I learned this the hard way. They have fun shops and even a build-a-bear located outside the park. There is plenty of tables around the area so you can dig into that funnel cake!

We ordered our funnel cakes around 9:05pm. The place doesn't close until 10:30 pm. The young lady dressed in black did not allow my two young children to sit in the tables. To recap: We were buying customers and NOT allowed to sit and enjoy our purchase!! I have video proof to prove it. She said they no longer allow us to sit when the park closes. It was 9ish and the park closes at 10p!! We have been annual pass holders for years and never experienced such disgraceful treatment.

One Topping Funnel Cake: Boysenberry (Back), Strawberry (Front)

2020 basically cancelled all my opportunities to indulge in fair food, so I decided to make a trip to Buena Park to fix my fried food cravings. I first stopped by Mrs. Knotts to pick up some fried chicken and then came here to Cable Car Kitchen to order two funnel cakes. They were made to order and boy was I happy. Pricing Fully Loaded: One Topping (Boysenberry, Strawberry, or Chocolate Sauce) w. Powder Sugar and choice of Ice Cream $13.50 One Topping: Choice of Boysenberry, Strawberry, or Chocolate Sauce with Powder Sugar $12.50 Regular: Powder Sugar $11.50 --If you're a season pass holder there's a small discount given for all the items (I want to say 10% off?) Cleaning As for safety precautions and cleaning procedures, I definitely felt safe. All the staff wore masks, and they wiped down the counters and other frequently touched areas. Seating outside was abundant and guests were all practicing social distancing. Overall, if I'm needing another fried funnel cake fix, I can certainly count on Cable Car Kitchen!

Place located outside of Knotts Berry Farm, Great customer service, and delicious desserts, which are not included in the yearly pass, they give you a discount so it's ok,

This place is unreal. It's located outside of the Knotts Berry farm park right next to the main entrance. The coolest thing is the portion sizes you'll receive here! I ordered a two scoop ice cream bowl. I definitely got about 3-4. It is incredible! Highly recommend visiting this place!

Funnel cake with chocolate drizzle and vanilla soft serve ice cream

Funnel cake is one of my favorite amusement park foods and Cable Car Kitchen definitely delivered! This place is located outside of Knott's Berry Farm so we were able to get food even without the price of admission to the park. There are a couple tables inside and outside seating is also available which it shares with the Starbucks next door. Cleanliness was not an issue inside but we were looking to sit outside and the table was not cleaned. Thankfully, a worker was available and was more than happy to get the table cleaned for us! That deserves a shout out out for their service and cleanliness! The funnel cake we ordered had chocolate drizzle (mmm...chocolate) and vanilla soft serve ice cream in one heaping pile on top. The funnel cake was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside while the chocolate drizzle along with powdered sugar added the scrumptious element of sugar that makes funnel cake so good! It was my first time having ice cream with funnel cake and it was SOOO good! Funnel cake from Cable Car Kitchen with Knott's sights, sounds and environment without having to be inside the park was a great experience!

Always a stop after a long day at Knotts. Tried their boysenberry funnel cake. The topping was delish. Crew works fast and gets your funnel cake out in less than 10 mins.

What once was Pinks, what once was many things is now a Cable Car Kitchen that's full of delicious goodies! They have a pretty straightforward menu it's all about the Sandwiches! With a few choices sounding good I had a hard time deciding but what really caught my eye was The Berry Gobbler and the fact that it has Boysenberry Mayo. Me loving OC's indigenous man made Boysenberry this was a definite yes to getting The Berry Gobbler it had a good amount of turkey on it and all of the toppings went really well with that delicious Boysenberry mayo that was served on a almost roll type of bread with rosemary sprinkled on top. This being Knotts you know all the food is going to be a bit pricy but what I ordered and what I got was actually not that bad of a value especially when it was applied with the season pass discount. This is a great new place for Knotts and definitely one of the better establishments to grab food at I definitely will be back here on a future Knotts visit! Oh and don't forget to order a Boysenberry Punch for your drink its sooooo delicious and unique to the farm and just ohhhh sooo good!

This place was Beyond dirty! With used napkins and dirty old mask on the floor while a lady was pretending to clean the counters that did not need to be cleaned and the floor looked like a trashcan exploded was so gross I lost my appetite... also the worker lady was shaking her head with discussed at the customers coming into the store so rude

I was actually really impressed with the food here. This used to be Pinks and recently changed to Cable Car Kitchen. Today was my first time trying it with the family and am happy we tried it. Place inside was empty and slow. Service was okay. Nothing spectacular. The decor was very plain. Not much on the tables or walls. We ended up sitting outside in shade because it was a lot cooler than inside. Looking at prices I was already thinking they are way too pricey before getting our food. The sandwiches are about 8-11 dollars depending what you choose. That doesn't include combo. If you want a drink and fries it's $5.99 extra for medium and no refills on drinks. You can use your season pass which helps a lot! The food came out quickly and the sandwiches were huge. I do have to say at that point you see your food you do get what you pay for. My girls got a grilled cheese which was also really big. They both liked it. I got a meatball sandwich and those meatballs were gigantic. I loved the bread on the sandwich and the amount of cheese. The sauce could have used some flavor it was a little watery. My hubby and mom got the turkey boysenberry which said was good but needed more sauce. My dad got the rueben sandwich and he kept talking and but how much he liked it. All sandwiches were big so it doesn't matter which one you choose. The fries were string fries and they were okay. My only compliant was they served us bad Sprite and when we took it back they said they already knew. So we asked why they gave it to us...but responded with its good now. They gave us another Sprite and it was still back so we had to choose something different. We do plan to come back since the food was filling and good!

Ridiculously good! How I will miss you... :(

What I ordered: Coco Pandan Mousse DESSERT: 8/10 I loved how light my mousse was. Most importantly, it actually tasted like pandan! I was worried the pandan flavor was going to be mid and subtle, but each bite had a great pandan flavor. I had a bit of a drive back to my hotel, so I was advised to order mine frozen. I'm glad I took the staff member's advice because by the time I got to my hotel and finished dinner, it had thawed out perfectly. It was still cold-ish, room temp in the best way possible. SERVICE: 9/10 Great customer service! Upon arrival, the staff member who helped me was very nice. I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The way she packaged my dessert was also very helpful and considerate. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Definitely a cute place, and I can see this being a great go-to spot for groups. I loved how the back seating area had so many Polaroids plastered all over the walls. There are different types of seating depending on what you're in the mood for, and each seating area has a different vibe. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the weather while having your dessert!

Once we arrived, there was plenty of chairs and seating and the place looked pretty cool. They also had a pretty extensive menu which consisted of coffee, tea, lattes, Korean drinks, smoothies, sparkling aids and of course, ice cream. I don't like ice cream but I was actually pretty excited for her to try it. Cool name, cool spot, I'm willing to bet something on it, it's about to be fire! After waiting a while I noticed she was still at the front, I wasn't sure if she was looking at the menu or what. So I go to the front and no one is in sight, I see the bell and I ring it and a young girl comes to help. Make sure you ring the bell smh. Finally after the long wait, and a small line formed behind us, she finally gets her ice cream on a cone. I see her walking towards me happy and then she takes a bite and everything goes out the window. She hated everything about the ice cream. It wasn't what she thought, she didn't like the texture, the flavor or anything about it. She had me taste it and she was right, it tasted like ice without the cream and kind of bland. It is exactly what it is marketed as, low fat, low calorie, low sugar, and low carbs so I have no clue what she thought she was getting. It clearly said, plant based lol. I told her and she said she at least wanted it to taste creamy and she was right, it was far from creamy but Don Melt didn't do anything wrong lol. Anyway, she didn't want to be mean so she held on to it until we got a few stores down and tossed it. Then we went on a hunt to find her ice cream smh. Now, from my experience, it wasn't bad and I understand what they are doing. It's a healthy ice cream that isn't creamy and it's not something I would eat but I get the concept. It's for healthy eaters wanting to fill a craving, which isn't for everyone and I think she was being a little emotional about wanting her ice cream. I personally wouldn't go back for the ice cream but I'd be willing to try something else off of their menu. I can see why this is pretty popular among healthy eaters. OOO 3 out of 5 Afros
