2nd time trying them out, lucky lucky happy choice on the dish this time! I guess I'm just not a fan of pad Thai but their basil chicken, delicious! Flavorful and has a hint of spice. Ordered their papaya salad too, enjoy it very much. Do be careful carrying it though, the juice spilled but there was enough that it was still dressed. So happy I decided to try them out again. Short wait too, had others in front but it wasn't a ridiculous long wait
The cook today did not disappoint!! These rolls are huge !! No small shrimps here ^^ I hope they keep it like this
Takeout lunch from Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawaii... Among the many food trucks (such as Leonard's malasadas, shave ice, and Filipino cuisine) at Waikele Premium Outlets... in the warm sunshine and cool, gentle breeze... on the lower side, by Lowes... is Thong's Thai Lunch Wagon. I ordered from the friendly, efficient gal at the window: Summer Rolls and Yellow curry with tofu I took my food home and was happy with the fragrance and presentation! However, the dipping sauce for the summer Rolls was spicy and the wrapper was full to the point of falling apart. The yellow curry was too spicy for me, but I liked the veggies and appreciate the cooking efforts! Next time, I'll get the garlic Shrimp!
The best Thai style fried rice I've had in awhile! The food is awesome! The service is great! Yes, it's a food truck and no seating to eat there, but it's worth the visit! When I first tried it, I had it three times in a week. That's how good it was! Def will be back for the awesome food and quick service!
The food here is delicious! Good portions. Price is reasonable, too, considering it is a food truck. When I went, they just opened at 11am. Had two staff working. I ordered plenty so it took a decent time to get the food. There isn't shade besides the awning from the food truck but that gets taken up if there is a line and depending on the positioning of the sun that time. No chairs and tables to sit at. You can always put up foldable chairs by your car in the parking lot though and eat. That's what we typically do.
Wanted to try this place based on its high Yelp rating. I visited about 30 minutes before closing and ordered the pad Thai with tofu. Service was quick, and the portion size was generous, with plenty of steaming hot noodles. However, the sauce was a bit overwhelming, soaking into the noodles, and the tofu had a strong sour flavor--perhaps too much vinegar or tamarind? My friend tried some of my noddles and tofu and felt the same way. It might have just been an off night or an accidental overuse of sauce, so I'm willing to give this food truck another try.
Thongs Thai wagon was delicious! First time today, June 21, 2025 and it won't be our last. The service was great, friendly staff. we ordered the spring rolls which comes with six fried eggrolls. We ate it up and wanted more so we went back and ordered another order and We also ordered chicken pad, Thai and chicken pad se ew. Which we thought all were delicious. It was cooked fresh made to order. The prices were favorable. They were generous with their portions and we enjoyed every bite, they are located in Waikele along with other food trucks. Glad we tried Thing's Thai! If we lived in the area we would definitely come back more often. Highly recommend if you like Thai food. To go only type of place.
We were lookong for Starbucks in the Waikele Center and stumbled upon Thong's Thai Lunch Wagon. It was close to Leonard's Malasadas Truck. Anyways, the food looked good and reasonably priced. I only got a Thai Iced Coffee. It was smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. It was good! The service was nice and friendly. Support your local business!
Thong's was our go to for Thai food but unfortunately today's experience will not have us going back. We ordered yellow and red curry and had asked for one of them with tofu. Got both with chicken. Both of them had a pool of oil that we needed to skim off. One nice surprise was the red curry had more veggies and bamboo shoots. The pad thai was okay. The most disappointing thing was the chicken wings. Smaller wings and no more lettuce or cucumbers. I called to ask about it and they said they discontinued the veggies as the rise of cost of supplies. Unfortunately, will not be going back.

Right flavors, right portions, right price! You wouldn't believe this would be coming out of a food truck in the parking lot of an outlet mall, but BELIEVE IT! Pad se ew with chicken, Basil eggplant with chicken, chicken pang curry ($15 each). Top notch, and comes out super hot! Only downside, if you're planning on staying to eat, it'll be on the back of the truck bed, or waiting benches. Come check this place out when you in the area!
I ordered Pad Thai with chicken on Nov 30. I only can find 1 piece of chicken and 3 tiny pieces of chicken in my Pad Thai. I tried to move noodle to other bowl but can't find any more chicken. Oh my god.... I will not buy here again.
Went this past Tuesday morning after giving blood at the Blood Bank's BloodMobile located next to the food trucks here at the lower Waikele Shopping Center. Friend and I decided to eat at Thong's Thai Lunch Wagon. He has eaten here a few times but this was my first time even though I have been eyeing it since 2019. We were there just before 11:30am and it did not look busy as there was no lines except for what seemed to be a few phone order pick-ups. I put in our order with the woman with the #12/Pad Thai (I asked for Thai Hot) and #13/Basil Chicken for my friend who wanted the spice level medium. Both were priced (like pretty much a lot of other dishes) at $12.99. We stood around for about 12-15 minutes and then our plates were ready. My friend paid with a card but she said it couldn't go through. She asked for another card so he gave her another card... did not go through... I said, "here try mine" (I could not believe my friend would ever be low on funds).. Within moments, she too said my card couldn't go through... Kind of 'you know how embarrassing this is' with some people behind us in line hearing that? Oh, but then she said to herself and loud enough for only us to hear... oh, must be our wi-fi not working. Whoa ! Bingo !! She asked if we had cash, which we so happened to have on us... Sad when wi-fi goes down, as the business cannot accept card purchases and the customer will feel anger no doubt ! No apologies to us to say "oh, it was a problem on our end". Friend dropped me off at home and he went to his home. I didn't immediately eat my Pad Thai but he texted me to ask if my dish was spicy or not? He was upset as it was too spicy for he and his wife to eat. I, on the other hand having just tasted it told him ... it's NOT spicy... it's not Thai Hot as I wanted ! So they put the WRONG spice level on our plates (should have been the opposite). But my Pad Thai (I chose to have it with chicken - could also order it with tofu, or with shrimp or fish for an additional $2) was more than sufficient and tasty (with just a slight hint of fish sauce-- wish there were a little more fish sauce added). I would get the Pad Thai again, but make sure the person taking your order LISTENS and not get plate lunches confused as to the spice levels. I rate Thong's Thai a 3.5 star experience that day, but rounded up, it gets the 4 stars.

A couple of the summer rolls were unraveling by the time I made it home. But they were perfect and the sauce was super flavorful. As for the spring rolls, the lettuce strips were a bit small compared to what I'm used to and I would've loved the noodles to add on, but it still was delicious. Will definitely eat here again and can't wait to try all the other dishes. read more

Their pad Thai is very good and always comes out hot. The papaya salad and summer rolls seem to be missing something as it's a little bland but the sauces make up for it. Great prices and food comes out quick. read more

Got the Red Curry this time. Has eggplant and other vegetables. Choose chicken but they had shrimp, tofu and fish options. Comes with Jasmine rice. Very mild spiciness. Lots of flavor! I forgot to take a picture before eating a third of it. Red Curry highly recommended. Service can be slow when they are busy. Watch out for cars driving by- stay off roadway and stay behind barrier fence. I'll definitely be back! read more

In my opinion, this is the BEST Thai food!! I ordered the chicken pad Thai noodles, red chicken curry and it comes with jasmine rice and I also tried the spring rolls. The food was very tasty. The portions were perfect. I will be a returning customer for a long time. YUMMY!! read more
Pretty good Thai food truck in Mililani. Swung by on a weeknight for dinner, was craving Thai. Wait was about 10 mins, I was the only one. There is a bell to ring when you are ready for service. Everything was made to order, it was PIPING hot. I definitely burned the roof of my mouth trying to eat this. But it was so good. My only complaint was the amount of oil that was left in the dish. It was overwhelming. Flavor and portions were worth the price though. read more

I was in the area and craving some Thai food. This little food truck was a convenient stop on my way home and had good yelp reviews so I thought I'd check it out. Thong's food truck is located in the lower waikele parking lot, near Leonard's. There are also a few other food trucks like a taste tea truck and a shave ice truck. On a random weekday afternoon, it was pretty busy, but no line at Thong's to order. I ordered the summer rolls and the pad kee mao. The lady taking orders was fast and friendly. I only waited about 5 minutes for my food. It smelled amazing near the truck and my mouth started watering. While I was waiting, I studied the menu and I could honestly see myself returning for anything else on the menu. They have larb, curry, chicken wings and even soup. All my faves! The food itself was good. I think I may have been a little hungry and biased, though. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls was pretty unique. I've never had peanut sauce that is flavored with coconut milk. It was different, but idk if it was better than the peanut sauce I'm used to. The pad kee mao was also really mild. Like there was no spice. I thought pad kee mao was always spicy.... Maybe she misheard me and I was given pad see ew? I mean I ate it and it was good, but maybe it's slightly different from what I'm used to. read more

Stopped for some spicy papaya salad and the heat on it was to my liking HOT and my shrimp rolls was a good size delicious peanut sauce. Ordering was fast and easy service was great. Tried this lunch wagon since there were good reviews. Food - tasty Service - ok. Hubby ordered Pad Thai with chicken specifically for daughter to get a lunch with the leftovers. Took a while for the food - which is generally good since it means they prepare it fresh. However, they made an error in the order - when it was ready the nice lady apologized that it had shrimp instead or chicken. Great for hubby not too good for daughter since she doesn't eat shrimp. E we Diane want to wait for them to make another order since it takes awhile Back to food - we also ordered spring rolls and they were awesome. Took them home to eat and they were still crunchy. Came with lettuce and cucumber for wrapping and the sauce was good. Still somewhat crunchy the next day when reheated. That was a very welcome surprise. Pad Thai was good. Not overcooked, and noodles didn't stick together too much. I quickly separated some extra noodles for daughter before the shrimp flavor permeated the entire dish (hence the odd picture - forgot to take one before). Because the shrimp was whole, and probably stir fried in last (because they weren't tough) the shrimp flavor wasn't evident in the portion I saved for daughter. That made a fail a save. May have given 5 stars if the order had been right. Overall liked this food truck. read more

Came to this place after a day at the beach. The employees were friendly. Price point was reasonable. Food was delicious and portions were good. We had pad Thai and pad se ew. Both were seasoned perfectly. Meat and noodles ratio was just right. read more
Love this place! All their food is made fresh to order and i highly recommend ordering your food ahead of time via phone. You can even ask them to adjust the spiciness level to your liking but be warned, Thai food is generally very spicy...so you can ask them for some spicy chili pepper on the side to adjust to your liking. We usually order the Basil Chicken and the Yellow Curry there. Basil Chicken is so delicious and i love all the fresh veggies like the onion, bell peppers, and basil leaves. The yellow curry we usually order it with chicken, and they give a very generous amount of curry and rice with each order. Service there is awesome, but because everything is made to order, the food can take some time to be made. read more

This is one of my favorite Thai spots/food trucks. I was a bit worried because the truck is different and the menu has changed, but I'm almost 100% confident it is still the same food/cooks, because the food is still delicious! My go to is the shrimp Panang curry. The ingredients are always fresh and everything is cooked to order. Next time I will try the papaya salad, pad si ew, and chicken wings! If you're in the area this is a good option if you like Thai food. read more
Since we were driving in the outlet area during lunch, we decided to pick up food from this lunch truck, located on the lower side of waikele outlet stores: Summer rolls - 3 stars - for $7.99, comes with 2 large summer rolls but was basic with only head lettuce and shrimp. I liked the peanut sauce that came with it. Panang curry - 3 stars - for $10.99 they give a pretty good amount but the curry didn't have much flavor. Green curry - 3 stars - spicy, but again, the curry didn't have much flavor so was disappointed. Pad kee Mao noodle - 4 stars - for $10.99, this was the best dish they had with flavor. I'd only order this again. You have a choice of chicken, beef, pork or vegetables, or shrimp for a dollar more. Service - 3 stars. Very nice, but the only concern I had was that the chef's mask was under his nose most of the time while preparing the food and he touched it while pulling it up over his nose only when he talked to customers, so was a bit worried eating the summer rolls since it was not cooked. Food is made to order and is super fresh. Lots of people waiting in line when I got here. My order was quickly taken and then I was advised that the did would take 15-20 minutes. The food options include a variety of proteins: tofu, chicken, pork and shrimp. They have a variety of curries, larb, and stir fries. Dishes come with jasmine rice and you can add a fried egg. I would recommend calling in your order to avoid the wait. I'm here at the end of the day so lots of last minute diners. Since this is a food truck, the atmosphere is very casual. It is order and go. Despite their small menu, most people had ordered one to two dishes to take home for dinner, a fair amount of them calling in their mobile order. As I'm drafting this, I'm already thinking about my next stop in the near future! There are a lot of parking stalls as they are along the fence line along with other food trucks. You canal also pick up dessert from them as they serve mango and sticky rice. read more
