Forgot to take pictures but wanted to share my thoughts on this great pizza. The place is a little hard to find. It is the door at the right end of the building. No sign, looks like an industrial park. Inside is a little market that makes really good looking breads, and the pizza place. We sat and ordered the vodka margarita and the cup and char pepperoni. Both were really good. Crispy, charred crust and tasty pizza. My friend thought the pepperoni cups tasted a bit odd but they were good. Great balance of dough, cheese, and sauce. Really great Neapolitan style pizza! Stopped in for lunch with a coworker yesterday (Thursday) and the place was packed. Thankfully, we were able to get a table. Many pizzas to chose from, as well as some pasta/hero options. We both went with a pizza because it seemed to be the specialty. Pizza itself was decently sized, made to order, came out quickly, and overall delicious! They also have a decent soda/beer selection. I had the al prosciutto pizza and it came with a very generous portion of prosciutto. The location is a bit hidden in an industrial spot. You enter through a small Italian grocery store and the pizza place is to the right. The place itself was a bit chaotic/server was overwhelmed so service was abrupt. It's sit down/table service (no ordering at a counter), but we were told the drinks were self-serve from the coolers (odd). We were also asked to leave the moment we paid our check so they could turn the table over. Despite the chaotic atmosphere/service, still highly recommend and I would still come back for the pizza, especially because you're guaranteed to be in and out very quickly which could be useful if you're in a time crunch. read more

My wife went to Dom's Pizza with friends and loved it wanted to take me to try. It's a little hard to find, there is no store front whit their name, only an Italian Flag outside to let you where it is. But many know of Dom's Pizza. Upon entering there is an Italian Food market where many items are in Italian. Many authentic items to choose from. Over to the right is the dining room. Small and basic but they have all you need. We ordered Cesar Salad and a Brick Oven Al Prosciutto Pizza and couple of sodas. Maria was or server, she was awesome working all the tables quickly since it's small dining area and there is usually a wait for tables at lunch time. Our food came extremely fast. Both the salad and pizza were very good. We enjoyed our meal and then then did some shopping in the market. This is gem to check out. read more

Self proclaimed pizza snob here. I seriously bumbled onto this place by mistake. It's in an Italian grocery store I've started going to occasionally and looked over and saw folks sitting at a table. I honestly had no idea it was there. The place is very small, only a couple of tables, and they seem to only do pizza and a few sandwiches (I later found they have a small menu with other dishes, which I will definitely try). Well, pizza was for me so, I got one. It's not a slice place as they only do small pies. They are authentic Italian pizza makers like you'd find in Italy. Definitely hand made with all fresh ingredients...honestly, one of the best , most honest pizzas I've ever had! Freshness in every bite! Had to eat the whole thing in one sitting! First of all, thank you Glenn K, for the recommendation on the best Margherita pizza on Long Island today! Per my son, it is 75% the way to the one he had in Rome last month. He was so thrilled that he would not put down the pizza box and he cheered all way to home from Farmingdale. The pizza dough was soft and chewy. The sauce and the cheese had perfect ration. The prosciutto provided a great combination. The huge spinach sausage roll was too oily to my son's taste. But my husband loved it. He said he would go there himself ( which normally means the place is good). The size was quite generous! The service was wonderful! The young man (owner's son?) was very warm and sweet. He definitely had a high EQ and good people skill. Extremely street smart type. Another man also was so sweet and helpful. He went to print out a paper menu just for me since they didn't have to-go menu. A very homey sit-down family restaurant was right attached to the grocery area. People were very kind and genuine, exactly like how those in Rome. We loved that! It teleported us to Rome instantly. There are many special pizzas on the menu. Lunch date with my daughter, we always agree on seeking out great pizza. Classic NY, Neopolitan, Roman, all styles but nothing pedestrian. We sought out this "hidden" gem based on social media accounts. We came, we saw, we ate! And ..... we are adding Dom's to our top ten overall pizza lists and top 5 of Neopolitan style. I also tried the San Pellegrino Chinotto - reminiscent of a Negroni without alcohol. it paired well with the meal. read more

The best kept secret in Long Island! This Restaurant / Italian Grocery Store has the best pizza outside Naples Italy! However it's totally hidden from the public!!! One can only find it through word of mouth. It has no sign, only an Italian flag in the front. The groceries are limited to the best Italian brands and locally sourced cold cuts (salame, sopressata, etc. I ordered a "Quattro Stagioni" pizza and to my surprise it had imported capers, olives, artichoke hearts, and prosciutto from Parma. All the other restaurants outside Italy use cheaper versions of the ingredients, they don't! It's also comforting to know that they sell the real authentic Italian Nutella (in a glass jar). The restaurant has a small dining room with a few tables and some pictures on the wall obviously people don't go there for the ambiance but for the food! The service is excellent and the waitress is fluent in Italian and English. read more

Tiny place with a market. The restaurant sits maybe 25-30. Small tables. Very welcoming, like walking into someone's kitchen. The waitress was so friendly and accommodating. Someone was singing, similar to a small hangout, reminiscent of a Little Italy pizzeria. The boys were looking for a Naples style pizza, mushy in the center. They found it with the bufalo pizza. Just like in Naples. The sauce was flavorful and had depth. The bolognese pappardelle was absolutely delicious. Reminded us of Rome. Fresh pasta, meaty sauce. The sauce adheres to the pasta and isn't watery. Some Italian imported sodas were a plus! Next to the restaurant is their mini mart where they sell some of their fresh ingredients. We also found some imported limoncello candies and limonata sodas! They had large rice balls and fresh mozzarella made right there. The building isn't labeled. The parking lot was full, that's one way of finding it on the weekends, no other lot is full in the area. Best Southern Italian place we've found so far on Long Island. read more

This place is located inside the warehouse of an Italian food importer. They serve Naples style pizz. The mozzarella is made fresh and many of the ingredients from the warehouse are utilized. Live singer currently on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Recommended. read more

Ignore the hype - nothing great about this place unless you want a pizzamaker that doesn't know what toppings belong to each specific choice of pizza. He's confused (or just "stunard" in Italian), so busy fooling around can't concentrate on making a very simple pizza & had to ask an employee what to include. There's no slices despite Google saying there are, only overpriced whole pizzas with burnt black dough bubbles. You also have a nose-picking pizzamaker, nasty fresh owner who thinks she's scaring you, plus an overpriced on-premises grocery. Don't waste your gas. read more
