This award winning ramen noodle restaurant located at the East End Market in Orlando is recognized by the Michelin Guide. They are extremely popular and operates on a first come, first served basis with no reservations. We waited in line for about a half hour before opening at 5pm. I had the Vegan Ramen $15.50. It was delicious.
I haven't been to Domu since Covid. I really love their wings so I got them again and they are still so yummy. I got there at 5 pm and still ended up having to wait for a table for over an hour. I was maybe 10th in line. Parking is a bit of a nightmare for this location, but I ended up finding something on the street down the way. The food was good! I really liked my ramen. I'd totally order it again. However, the pork belly was very soggy in the ramen and it was overcooked.
In Orlando on a Monday night, this Michelin star establishment has a build your own Ramen night. So we decided to check out the hype. Domu is located at East End market so parking can get a little difficult but once the market closes, it's a tad bit easier to find parking. Domu offers outside seating, bar seating, bar seating with a kitchen view, and dining room seating. This establishment is on the smaller side for seating which can cause longer wait times, but it is so worth the wait! We got to sit at the bar seating area that gives you a view of the kitchen. We got to watch, however everything goes down in the kitchen. Our server was prompt with taking our order explaining how build your Ramen bowl night works. She reviewed the menu with us and asked if we had any questions. She was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We started with bar drinks while we were waiting for our table. Once we were seated, we were greeted with a little bowl of hot washcloths to cleanse our hands. We ordered an appetizer, sichuan cucumber that had a little spice, but was refreshing and not too filling. Then the best part we got to build our own Ramen bowl. My base was chicken broth, noodles, which by the way are made all in-house fresh, I added scallions, roasted garlic, and corn. The other bowl had pork broth with egg, Bok choy, roasted garlic, corn. I have to tell you this was the best Ramen I have ever had anywhere.!! we completed our meal with ube ice cream topped with fruity pebbles. We got Domu wings to go, which were voted the best wings in Central Florida, and that was a 100% the truth! Domu was definitely worthy of the Michelin star! I 1000% will be back for build your own Ramen night, which is on Mondays! It's a great atmosphere, great food, great drinks, and friendly staff, why would you not want to go back?! Cheers!
Amazing Japanese spot!! Once you enter, you are met with a huge seating area including a bar where you can only get drinks. Most people in there are waiting for a table inside the main restaurant. Once we got called back, we sat at another bar area where you can see the kitchen. Very interesting layout. We started with the famous domu wings and I seriously will be thinking about the wings until I go back. So much flavor in those things. I love that the noodles are made in house so I wanted to try the ramen of course. I got the Richie Rich ramen which was tasteful but I wish you could choose to add some spice in it. Still great though. My sister got the tonkotsu with black garlic and she almost ate the entire thing. Also got some shishito peppers and that was also just as good as everything else. I kept seeing the lychee martini being ordered to I got that and it was as good as everyone mentioned. It does have popping boba at the bottom which I loved but I know not everyone likes it so just an fyi. My sister got the Roddy pom. The place is pretty small and they don't take reservations so be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. We got there 25 minutes after opening and waited 40 minutes. The parking gets filled fast along with overflow parking being full so be prepared to find a spot.
I have been wanting to try Domu for sometime, but was intimidated by the long wait times. We showed up at East End market early on a Friday anticipating we would be seated right away. That was not the case. The wait, by the time we got there, was 1.5 hours (and that was literally 5:15! - they open at 5!). We decided to check out their happy hour and sit at the bar instead, which we were seated pretty much right away. My husband ordered a highlight and one of our friends ordered an old-fashioned. The drink drinks were delicious and quickly made by the kind of bartender, Maddie. She took her order which consisted of both flavors of wings (the original & the green curry), cheezus, & the tokyo ramen. The appetizers came out quickly to help hold us over. The curry wings were a little spicy, but the original held up to the hype. My husband even said that they were probably his favorite wing in town. The cheezus was delicious - with a hint of lime and spice. The bread on the side was warm and soft. We got the ramen and split it amongst 4 people. It was flavorful and filling. The ambiance was hipster and buzzin'. Industrial and organized. You can even buy the kitchen staff a shot for after shift! Definitely stop here. You won't regret it
Food was good! They were out of a lot of items which is why I'm rating it 3 stars. The kimchi and wings were my favorite. My boyfriend really enjoyed the ramen. The vibes here are fun, it was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon but we got seated immediately! Services was decent! We will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.
I finally got to try Domu and it lived up to its reputation. I went on a Tuesday after work, which is a very busy day as they do all night happy hour. Not knowing this going in, I felt very lucky to get a seat at the busy bar! I was greeted immediately by the friendly bartenders and had great attention and service from them throughout my time there. I had the happy hour negroni, followed by a happy hour old fashioned, which were both great. I had the domu wings, which have been awarded as the best wings in Orlando. They were very crispy and delicious. I would say very similar to the twice friend wings at Hawkers. I wasn't planning to order any ramen, but the couple eating at the bar next to me ordered ramen, and it looked so good, so the bartender told me I would regret not ordering some to take home for dinner. I did, and was so glad I listened to her because it was amazing, and enough food for both dinner and lunch the next day. I can't wait to come back and try more food and drinks!
Came here for an early dinner on a Sunday evening, arrived around 530. We were told it'd be about a 45-60 minute wait, we ended up getting our table after about 25m. We found the service to be reasonably fast and friendly, an overall a great experience! I was torn between a few ramen options, and ultimately went for the wagyu Sichuan option since it's a special and that flavor profile is one of my favorites, so I didn't want to potentially miss my one chance to have it. I was very happy I made that choice! The noodles had an unusual richness to them, in a good way. Soaking in the fattiness from the wagyu will do that I guess. The chili was really flavorful but not too hot, I could have definitely gone for a little more heat, but was an overall really good dish. My partner went for the egg tofu and cheezus. The egg tofu was almost like a savory flan, the onion chili crisp they used paired with it so well. Highly recommend as an appetizer. The cheezus was kind of like Mac and cheese, but corn instead of the mac. Paled in comparison to the other two dishes, but certainly not bad Overall I highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in Orlando or are local to the area. I hope I'm able to come back some day!
From their happy hour to regular hours I love DOMU. Nothing I order is bad. Everything is so flavorful. It's hard to find good ramen when you've had some of the best in Japan. There's clearly a reason the have won so many awards (including best wings for 4 years!). The wings were everything I heard about... if not more. We ordered the original DOMU wings and also the seasonal flavor wings: sichuan hot honey! The seasonal wings were more of a dry rub and a slight touch of a hot honey. They were good but definitely cannot beat out the original wings. The original are so flavorful and I loved the kimchi butter sauce! Both wings were the perfect crispy, balanced cook. We visited around lunch time and it was poppinnnnnnn! Lots of fun brunch vibes and the staff was so friendly. Our food came out SO quickly, like less than 5 minutes after we ordered, regardless of how busy it was. I'm sad there's not a location closer to Tampa but definitely a must try in Orlando!
Wow, four years later and I'm back. My fiance and I were craving ramen and were in the area. We usually go to the Dr. Phillps location because it's more spacious. We sat at the bar and ordered the Bees Knees and Richie Rich ramen. Shout out to our bartender, Cat for locking in another memory in our books!
Domu is by far my favorite restaurant in Central Florida. I don't get to go as often as id like because they are sooo popular. They do not accept reservations and wait times can be extremely long especially if you have more than 2 people in your party. But if you have not gone it is a MUST TRY!!! The flavor profiles they create for their food and their drinks are unmatched. Their team is so creative. The have seasonal drink and ramen/wing specials and are constantly up adding new items to the menu. The staff is super chill and friendly. It is always good vibes. We recently went to their Wine Down Wednesday which occurs quarterly. We put our name down for a table while we enjoyed the dj outside . Our wait was just shy of 2 hours but again it is so worth it! They are always consistent and I always leave happy some of my faves are their domu daiquiri, lychee martini, kimchi butter wings, shoyu yuzu ramen and of course cheezus. This place is not over hyped. The hype is real! Go and try them !!! You won't regret it

First come, first serve, but it was worth the wait. I had to get the Domu wings, which came highly recommended. Although I prefer my wings more sauced than crispy, these wings were the best crispy, sticky wings I've had. The tonkotsu ramen was amazing. Broth was a perfect balance of rich and creamy without overdoing it. Service, music, location were all top tier! read more
This is our third attempt at getting a table at Domu and we decided to go early around 6pm on a weekday. Luckily around this time, we only had to wait less than 30 minutes for a group of 3. There is a combination of both bar seating and tables around the restaurant. It is definitely bustling with activity and it's usually full with diners. From ordering, it took about 10 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. We tried the tako and it was great and not overcooked or rubbery! The ramen dishes we ordered were rich with flavor and the ramen noodles still held its texture without being soggy. The chashu was both tender and the ends added a pleasant burnt BBQ-type flavor as well. The wood ear mushrooms were still snappy and were nice to eat with the ramen. Overall, each dish is carefully prepared and the broth for each ramen is packed with great flavor. You can't go wrong with what you choose here! What is there not to like about this place. You enter and there's a cool bar and waiting area. On the wall you see all the awards and Michelin signs. When you enter the main dining area there's an open kitchen. My friend and I stopped by right when they opened on a busy Saturday. We started with the bottomless lychee mimosas and wings. The wings are a must order and a lot of Yelpers got it right for some of the highest rated wings in the area. We ordered the Richie Rich. This is the same bowl featured on Netflix Feed Phil Season 7. Man was this broth rich! It's a rich miso shoyo pork bone base broth. The chasu was cooked perfectly and the fried garlic added some nice texture. All the aromatics and flavors were on point. This is a definite must dine in restaurant when visiting Orlando and this specific OG location. Highly recommend getting here early if you plan to come for brunch as the line was already long at 1050 Am. read more
I hadn't been to Domu in a while and jumped the chance to visit for a pre-Christmas get together with friends. There is typically a wait but we were able to mitigate this with happy hour at Neighbors. When it was our turn we were seated quickly. The service was quick and the food was delicious as always. Domu is one of the most consistent restaurants in Orlando. I love the communal style seating options for large parties and the comfortable decor. I highly recommend Domu to locals as well as anyone visiting Orlando. read more

I'm always looking for ramen and now I have a place to go (even if it's 40 minutes way) when visiting family! I know people come here for the ramen but let me tell you about the apps!! The Tako! It had smashed potatoes, a gochujang mayo, I dont know what agrodulce is but i loved it. The Asian pears were such a nice touch. Get the Tako! The cucumbers are always a staple and these had a nice flavor to them. I had the creamy miso ramen and the meat was so tender! The noodles were al dente and the corn rib was so great to have in there. The broth was dense and flavorful, I really liked it. The wait times can be crazy. It was a Friday night so I understand, but we were at like close to two hours before we sat so just be aware that it gets packed. read more

The food was delicious. We went to the Dr. Phillips location for brunch and I would recommend the breakfast mule! Chicken wings , both original and seasonal were crispy, juicy and delicious!!!!!! Seasonal was a lemon flavor. Creamy miso was delicious and filling as was the curry. Our waitress was pleasant and patient. If you're looking to have a quiet conversation this would have been a challenge inside the restaurant. It's loud. The outside tables didn't seem available and I'm not sure if we would have been able to hear each other better. ( we were a party of 8) read more
The food here is definitely 10/10 5 stars. The ramen and chicken wings that I had were delicious! Came here on a Sunday ten minutes before it opened. There was a long line in front of me and a long line after. I decided to sit at the bar once it opened because the line to get seated was too long. My bartender was very friendly and kind. My food came out in 3 minutes or less. It was quite impressive actually. The ramen broth was top notch. The pork belly was mostly fat but very flavorful. I came with my family on a Saturday night, and although the wait was about 45 minutes, the food made it completely worth it. I'd heard they had some of the best wings around, and that was no lie. I tried the regular Domu wings and the seasonal Lao Laab flavor--both were packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen as-is and would rate it a solid 7/10. I also tried a friend's curry ramen, which was unique but really tasty. The vibe is dark and sultry, and they even have games to keep you entertained while you wait. I'd definitely go back. read more

Located in the East End Market area, which has a really cool overall vibe. Domu itself is a great spot, though it's on the smaller side and operates first come, first serve with no reservations--so expect long waits since it's very popular. A legendary spot for a reason! Another nod to Chef Sonny's incredible work in the Orlando food scene and one of the most rewarded! The food was insane of course, super rich broths, perfectly crispy and flavorful wings, and yummy balanced cocktails. Went with a friend there was 45 min wait so we started with drinks and appetizers. We order the happy hour old fashion, strawberry switchblade, original Domu wings and fingerlings bravas. Drinks were great but the wings were amazing. Once our turn came up we're seated at the counter and the server was great. We both had the mild chicken curry bowl and added eggs. It was okay. Ultimately my favorite was the chicken i order some to go. We felt a little rushed as it was a Friday night and was very busy. So we grabbed another round of drinks and sat outside in the green space sitting. Round two we had the smaller old fashion and another strawberry switchblade they were both great. Stepped in for brunch today and grabbed a seat at the bar since I was solo. Got there right at opening, so there were plenty of seats, but don't always expect thar this place fills up fast for a reason. I think it's best to get there early if you want a chill start to your day. The bartender was super helpful and friendly. I went with the Sriracha Bloody Mary the curry broth, and the spam, egg, and cheese sando. The sando was a little salty but hey, that's spam for you. Not exactly health food, but definitely tasty. Everything else was excellent. Didn't get the wings this time since I was alone, but I've had them before and they're definitely worth ordering. read more
We went here on a Thursday night and we were able to sit at the bar; the restaurant is very small with limited seating but the vibes are cozy and good. We ordered the ramen as well as the wings (sorry we destroyed them before the picture could be taken), the wings were very flavorful but VERY greasy and oily. My stomach started to hurt right after we ate them. The ramen was good and flavorful as well with a generous portion. The bartenders were very nice and quick with the service. This was my first time eating at Domu! I have heard nothing but great things and I was so surprised to see how full it was 15min after opening. Our server was great and I would love to have her again if we came back. I ordered the Richie Rich and after adding some chili oil and Siracha I enjoyed the flavors. I do say without that it was just okay, I was expecting more flavor within the broth alone. I would be willing to come back and try a different broth and ramen option from the menu though. The wings were amazing! Extra crispy and I could taste both the butter and the kimchi. I would definitely come back and order those again. My family had visited this popular local ramen noodle spot and raved about it -- so for my birthday week, they treated me to an evening here, and it did not disappoint. Pro tip: If you want to be seated at the first seating, plan to arrive about 30 minutes before they open. The staff was incredibly welcoming, seating us quickly and walking us through their specials and local favorites. Seating options include high tops, outside seating, first-come bar seating, and regular low-top tables -- we went with low/regular seating. Water came quickly, and our appetizer orders were taken without delay. Now to the highlight: I ordered the Richie Rich Ramen and added the spice ball to bring the heat up just enough -- perfectly spicy without going over the top. The atmosphere had great lighting, and the customer service was outstanding throughout. For a family of four, the pricing felt reasonable, and the speed of service was genuinely impressive. Every since the Yelp Elite week event at Chibi Ramen, DOMU has been on my list of places I "must try". Not to mention my Yelp Bestie raves about how well seasoned the broth is. So I could not wait to give them a try. We were at an event in Longwood, so I called ahead to confirm the last table seating time because it was already 1:30 PM. The young lady that took the call, assured me that we could be seated as long as we made it there to place our order by 2:15 PM as that is when the kitchen closes. We arrived at 2:05pm. The hostess quickly announced to me that we were not going to be able to be seated and pointed to the sign. I told her, I called ahead and was told that we would as long as we got there before 2:15 pm. She said "I'm not sure who told you that I'm the only one up here... but I can get the manager" So, I show her the phone where I called. She walks away and comes back to inform me that the manager is really busy serving 6 tables and can't talk and apologized for whoever told me the "misinformation" on the phone. Also, she said that none of the servers are admitting to advising me over the phone. Here is where I should of left!‼ But I didn't... and said "I'll wait for the manager". She comes back and says "I can seat you once you're hold party is here". We took the table, quickly ordered and the food was delicious. We stepped out to go to the bathroom (leaving our to go on the table) and was locked out. ... I was floored!! read more

Always a good time and a good experience at Domu. I went for brunch. Showed up around 12 and was still able to sit immediately. Got a vegan ramen and boba-mosa (with lychee popping boba). Samantha took great care of my friend and I. We had a great experience. Domu is great for happy hour/dinner/brunch, and a good place to meet a few friends or do a date night. Love Domu! We got the original Domu wings.. some of the best wings I've ever had! Then the cucumber salad, curry, and the Richie rich w Kimchi on the side. Everything was yum!! Our waiter Tyler was so attentive and kind to offer us their amazing Black Sesame soft serve! They have a rotating soft serve flavor every week. We went on a Saturday night at 4:30 and still waited an hour and half for four people. Come early on the weekends! read more

Amazing food!!! I loved everything we ordered. The staff was really nice too. I would highly recommend going right when they open to avoid the long wait. I had the Richie rich ramen. SO delicious !!! Creamy and satisfying. I felt the broth had a lot of flavor and a perfect balance. I also enjoyed the texture of the noodles. WINGS. Just order them. DOMU has unbelievably tasty food, of all the places to try in Orlando I would say this should be the top of any solid list. Their ramen is truly the quality of ramen you would get in Japan. The wings are to die for. Crispy and perfectly sauced. There will be a wait. Expect to wait 1-2 hours for a table. That is normal, and I will say the wait is fully worth it. Heard a lot of great things about Domu, so I decided to pop in and try some ramen. The line to get in wasn't too bad and since I was there just a few minutes before 5:00 PM the wait wasn't very long. I sat at the bar and ordered a bowl of the classic tonkotsu ramen with extra brûlée eggs. The pork belly was delicious, although only two small pieces. The eggs were superb, the noodles nice and chewy and the broth was pretty good. All in all a good bowl of ramen. I think the key to a great bowl is more add-ons. I look forward to trying them again and dining in the main dining room. read more
We stopped on a Saturday for lunch and this spot didn't disappoint. We tried the Richie rich ramen, kimchi wings and the wasabi ginger margarita. It was all perfect! The wings are extra crispy and the flavor was perfect. The ramen is to die for. We ordered additional eggs on it. The broth tastes amazing. The margarita had great flavor and was well made. Domu is a place where I keep coming back. I love the wings and ramen so much it's engraved in my heart. The Richie Rich is my absolute favorite but pictures is the Hot Curry Ramen which is a close second on my list. Everything is yummy, the bartenders are the bomb. The vibes are there! Worth the hype!! Everything tasted delicious plenty of dietary options like vegan and chicken ramen. The chicken was super crunchy and flavorful must try!! It gets quite crowded since theres small amount of space we were a big group and were told 30-60 min wait ended up waiting only 20 mins. We went on a random Thursday night and yes there was a line but nothing crazy. We waited an hour which wasn't bad as you're able to get a drink at the bar and relax in the front area which is cozy and quiet. The staff were very nice and attentive. We never felt rushed during our diner. I'm mad I have a small stomach because I wanted to try everything!! The ramen is curated in a way that it's never over powering in one flavor but so much aroma and blends that you will say OK!!! The main area can be a little noisy but still able to have a regular conversation. I do like how they have a challenge every so often. The only little thing that we didn't receive were the hot towels pre meal. I know it's something so minuscule but at the time I expected them since I saw it was part of the experience. 10/10 would return! read more

I sat at the bar so no wait time for me, otherwise there's a waiting time. The Tako was delicious. Ramen was good, the noodles were great, unlike some other ramen places that noodles are sticky. Service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. read more

The 'Tokyo', 'Curry', and 'Yuzu' are chicken broths. They do also have a menu item that uses Veg broths. I'm sure you can ask them to swap it!
What is the max number of people that can be seated? I remember there is a sign at the front and can't remember.. Thank you!
