Churrasquitos, taco combo, chips and queso

This spot is local to me, only about 2 mins from my house, but I'd drive an hour to eat here if I had to! The service is always SO GOOD - staff is friendly and welcoming and so attentive. The food is AMAZING - my absolute favorite thing on the menu is the churrasquitos from the street food collection - make sure to ask for the house made hot sauce and add some jalapeños radish and pickled onions. Plus $5 margaritas what more could you ask for? Such a great hidden gem in Cherry grove!

A good Mexican spot to check out if you're in North Myrtle Beach. My burrito was loaded and tasted amazing. Packed with flavors and budget-friendly, I'd certainly order it again. Fries got a bit soggy but after a little toasting on the grill, they were good. Seating was casual and the restaurant had a good ambience. Parking lot, on the other hand was a bit tough to find at night as the street was completely dark. Lastly, there was a mixup with the bill as the employee charged me $100 from a different table by mistake. But, he let me know right away and apologized profusely, ensuring refunds if the money didn't get deposited back. I appreciated that and thankfully, nothing got charged on my credit card either.

We love this place! Best Mexican food around!! I love the Birria Quesadilla, so full of flavor and huge portions! The Arroz Texicano is amazing! The beef is tender, chicken is flavorful and the shrimp is yummy!! Sara was our server. She is prompt , professional and polite with a beautiful smile! We'll definitely be back for more great food!

We were really hoping for a good meal, but this place just didn't deliver. The restaurant felt cramped, and the food lacked authenticity. My cheese quesadilla had American cheese in it, and the rice tasted exactly like Rice-A-Roni. My dad didn't even get his drink until we were already eating. The bathroom was a mess with toilet paper all over the floor, and Pitbull was blasting so loud we could barely hear each other. Service was okay , the girl was nice. The prices were way too high for the quality--$4 for a basic hard shell taco is just ridiculous. Honestly, if you're considering eating here, just go to Taco Bell instead. You'll spend less and probably enjoy it more. Only positive? At least the air conditioning worked.

Very friendly waitress. First they bring out soup and chips and salsa, very good. Alot of lunch specials to choose from. My meal was delicious not to mention my $5 margarita!

Authentic and delicious food that was worth stopping in; very unassuming place. This hidden gem was the perfect for this South Texas girl looking for familiar foods. The chilaquiles were flavorful and the ribeye was tender. Birria tacos were delicious but missing a bit of the traditional spice. The margaritas were made from a simple syrup, natural lime juice and quality tequila. Don't miss out on this epic find!

Delicious. The servers were kind and my bf loved the quesabirria tacos! The rice doesn't go crazy but the enchiladas verdes were yummy. the interior of the restaurant is cute too

We got some chicken and biscuits from here, coffees and lattes, a burrito and an açai bowl during our visits. All really good but my favorite are the chicken. The breading was very flavorful and fried crisp to perfection. The portion size is quite large. When we ordered the chicken and biscuits, they gave us 2 large fried chicken and 4 halves of biscuits which was enough for both my husband and myself. Since we didn't know about the portion size, I ended up getting an açai bowl which I saved for another day. I will be dreaming of that chicken forever! The inside is quite tiny but once you get your order, they do have picnic tables outside you can sit in. There are also a few spots inside but super tight space. Everyone was very friendly from the person taking your order to the kitchen staff. I cannot say enough great things about this cafe.

Even though as an adult I usually stay in Myrtle Beach , I still make a trip to Cherry Grove to walk the pier , walk the beach , and of course stop in at Boulineau's IGA. I make a point to come the day they do Chicken Bog in the Cafe , which I think is Friday. It is so good and so is the Fried Chicken. The Cafe has such a great selection , great price , clean dining areas , great service , and is very popular with tourists and locals. I stayed at the Golden Mile / Cabana Beach the whole month of February and came here twice. The grocery store has pretty much everything you need for vacation. Food , bathroom items , cleaners , fresh produce , fresh meats , grilling supplies , fishing supplies , beach items , you name it ! Upstairs they have a shop with all kinds of beach items like shirts , decorations , swimwear , hats , wind chimes , games , coffee cups , and on and on. This Thursday I was heading up with the wife to buy some fish and we decided to go for it. Of course there was zero parking with a parade of cars in the parking lot waiting to pick up food, when my wife noticed a pick up truck right in front of the place about to exit. She sped right next to the spot and jumped in before anyone realized it. We're in...or so I thought. We strolled up and there were about 35 people sitting on benches and rocking chairs under a tent right in front of the place all waiting to get in. I figured this is not going to be easy. I went up to the hostess station and asked how long for a table for two and she said 35 minutes or so. I looked at my wife and gave her my name. I had to find out what all the hub bub was about. In about 30 minutes they shouted my name and I sprinted to the front door...I wasn't about to lose my table. In we went and we're shown a nice size table in the middle of the place. It kinda reminded me of a beachy mom and pop diner. The friendly waitress came to the table right away, gave us our menus, showed us the specials board and took a drink order. The menu was simple but had some choices on it. While we were thinking, she came back with our drinks and we quickly ordered an appetizer. In this case, onion rings. A few minutes later my wife settled on a crab cake app and a salad which she asked to be combined. I went for the soup of the day(NE clam chowder) and one of the specials...pork chops(I took my grilled not fried) with 3 sides, Lima beans, okra & tomatoes stewed and green beans. The meal came with a choice of cornbread or roll. I opted for the cornbread. In a flash, the onion rings came out followed by the soup. Now I do love me some onion rings and these were fantastic. Crispy, flavorful and not stringy. The soup was home made. Creamy with bits of clam and chunks of potato. No salt or pepper was needed as it came out steaming hot and perfect. It was a meal in itself and I ended up taking 3/4 home with me(something rarely do). After a few minutes, the main course came out. My wife dug into a very large homemade crab cake, chock full of crab meat and very flavorful. She loved it. The salad was fresh and crisp. My pork chops came out and the size of the plate shocked me. Now, I almost never talk about price but my plate was $12.49 and I got two large perfectly prepared, juicy pork chops with a healthy helping of the best okra and stewed tomatoes I ever had plus absolutely delicious green beans and tasty lima beans. What a deal! The only thing that wasn't above average was the corn bread which was a tad dry and plain. Most of the regulars opted for the home made roll(and the fried chicken which was being served at every table!). I was stuffed and had trouble finishing my plate. My wife who said she was full, managed to save enough room for dessert. Now everyone was eating the homemade peach cobbler so I suggested that. My wife never had it before and was thinking about the Oreo pie, but I persuaded her and she was glad I did. Instead of the usual whip cream she wanted vanilla ice cream with it and it was a fantastic combo. The cobbler came out piping hot and crumbly with sweet chunks of peaches that paired well with the cold vanilla ice cream. She attacked it so fast that I couldn't get a picture. I broke my own rules and dipped in for a few spoonfuls and I'm glad I did. It was heavenly. The bill came and I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. Now I know why you can't get into the joint. We paid our bill and gave the super friendly waitress a nice tip and were on our way. We will absolutely be back and will try to time it a bit better so we can find parking...or we'll take an Uber...it was that good.
