I was craving menudo last Sunday so I decided to try a new place. It was good but I don't think it was like homemade. It reminded me of menudo out of the can but the price was reasonable & the restaurant was full of people. The place is small and they only have one bench outside if you want to eat there, but don't let that discourage you it's definitely worth stopping by. I love the birria and my husband loves the menudo. Their birria and consome is so good, some of the best I've ever had. Their menudo is also really good according to my husband. This is my go to place for menudo now, even though there are a few options near by my house, I'll take the extra drive to here for their red menudo. $15 gets you a giant portion to enjoy either on the tables they have set up outside or take home and enjoy later. Never had Menudo before, which is a disgrace I know! Saw this yelp posting on Instagram for Menudo Ramen and it wasn't too far from my house. I knew I had to try it! Tried calling on a Wednesday but after a bit of investigating, saw that the sign said it was only open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 8am to 2pm. So we waited until Monday to order. The soups came with packets of oregano, dried chillies, limes, lettuce, onions, corn and corn tortillas. The soup had ramen noodles in them which was great, but with the tortillas, it was a double carb whammy! Soup had a lot of flavor - very tasty and very filling. The seeds in my dried chillies unfortunately came out in my soup and was freakin spicy! I luckily had my horchata to try and cool my mouth down. Overall very good but if you can't handle too much spice, DO NOT put the chili peppers in your soup! read more
