We were warmly greeted when we came into the restaurant. It was very tastefully decorated, light and airy, and all of the servers were dressed in white shirts and black pants and vests. Our server was excellent, and funny. After he took our order, he assured us he would be back in an hour. We were served warm tortilla chips and bean dip. The salsa bar boasted of several house-made salsas and sauces, and I tried the standard, the tomatillo, and the avocado sauce. All three were excellent. My margarita came out with a bushel of various fruits on top, and was delicious and refreshing to the very last drop. I can't be sure, but it tasted hand-crafted and not from a mix. For dinner I had Pollo Fundido and it was excellent.Cooked to perfection, generous with the cheese sauce, and served sizzling hot. My husband had a fajita quesadilla. Again, where's the cheese? NONE TO BE SEEN. I called the manager to discuss my concerns, but I was dismissed with the comment, "everyone makes mistakes!" Instead of receiving any acknowledgment of the poor quality, I was told to either return for a replacement or make the effort to come back for a refund. This is not how a business should ever operate. I shouldn't have to return to a restaurant that failed to deliver a satisfactory meal. The steak was gristly, tasteless, and evidently old. Spending $30 for this was a WASTE of my earned money. The manager's tone suggested that it was my fault for choosing their establishment, which is entirely inappropriate. There are numerous excellent Hispanic restaurants in the area, and quite frankly, I regret not trying one of them instead.
