Do not shop here! I'm currently in the process of getting lawyer. I was told I was sold an SEL model outlander sport and now I'm getting paperwork that says model SE. My down payment was stolen. They will say they are adding on all these bi used for FREE but they are not. I was sold a 2022 sport outlander that was supposed to be priced 27k, I received my finance bills that shows 34k. They picked the WORST finance company instead of capital one or my credit union. Currently filing paperwork to have them audited for fraud. Update 6/5/2021: After I posted my review I got a call from someone claiming to be a managing partner at the dealership. I told him that what upset me the most was the service agents comment to me after I said I have bought 3 brand new cars here in the last 3 years and I won't be coming back and the service agent replied "oh well". The "managing partner" told me that was unacceptable and that my situation would be taken care of at no charge to me. Well, here we are a week later and the $517.54 charge is still on my card. And I am pretty sure they removed this review from their page as I had to find it another way to update it. Sad to see how far downhill this dealership has gone. 5/29/2021 All I can say at this point is - wow. I bought a brand new Outlander in 2016. I was hit and it was totaled in 2019, and I liked it so much I came back and bought a 2019 version of the same car. A year later, I totaled that one and came back and bought the 2020 version. Imagine my surprise, a year later I find out I don't have a spare tire. A loaded car without a spare tire. No jack. No lug nut remover. And did anyone bother to tell me? Of course not! So now it is costing me nearly $1000 to order and then have the tire installed. Oh - and it could be a year before I get it. Why on earth would they 1) not include a spare and 2) not tell you that you aren't getting a spare and 3) not have them available when you find out you don't have a spare and figure it's kind of important to get one. The last time I checked I didn't see Mitsubishi's flying off the lot like other brands. You figure they would take this into consideration when they deal with customers. I stopped by early in the morning when they opened. Was never approached or offered help. I figured they didn't have many salespeople available at 9am so I didn't take it to heart. I picked a vehicle I wanted for my wife and decided to come back that evening with my wife. Returned at 7pm to find three salesman standing by the front door. Not one approached us even though we made eye contact with two. One was sagging his pants to his ankles so maybe it was a blessing in disguise. The least you can do is appear profesional in public. My favorite part was how one of those guys was driving show cars around the parking lot like an idiot. Unsafe for customers walking around and im sure future owners of those cars don't want their cars torn up before they own them. If it is something I don't like to do, is car shop. I had been to a lot places in my search for a second car. So I was not just going to take any deal put in front of me. I went to Don Herring a few weeks ago to look at a used Acura. The sales person was very helpful to start out. Some of the pricing seemed kind of high for the type of car we were looking for. But, I rolled with the punches because we got to talking about new cars and the warranty was great. Now, in my mind I knew they wanted a large down payment which I had but I was trying to save as much money as possible. The sales person said that they could take my old PT Cruiser in for $3500.00 for a air quality trade in because it was a older car. At the time that sound like a good deal because the sale person said that we could use that as a down payment. Which that was great. So the sales person said that he was going to do a SOFT CREDIT check. Which I figured it was like Credit Karma. He runs off like most sales people do to talk to the sharks in the back. He comes back after 10 mins with this paper with some figures. I took a look at it and was taken aback with the down payment and the price of the car. What really set me off was the fact of the $3500.00 was subtracted from the Car Price instead of using it as the Down Payment like he said. At this point I was pretty ticked off and I was not in the mood for arguing and negotiating. So I just got up and left. But, what made me more mad was the next day I get an alert that they ran a Hard Inquiry on my credit which really set me off. The only saving grace from going back up there and lighting them up was I found a Honda CR-V In great shape and a good price. So never again will I deal with Don Herring on any level. I bought a Mitsubishi outlander 2017 that had hail damage. The prices were cut by 50% but they promised to repair broken windshield. Actually one of their salesperson OJ told me someone will be coming by my city to replace it the following week. Trouble began when I called to find out when the supposed glass will be fixed. They were asking if the glass was broken in the first place. I guess they blacklisted my number coz no one picks it anymore. I used a different line and reached someone named Richard who told me "we do not make glass so you will have to wait we call you" it's two weeks now and the cracks are worsening. I contacted the dealership asking for info on a certain vehicle. I was told to apply for financing which I did.I was told I was preapproved I had a unique situation in which I wanted to trade in a car that I owed money on. I asked if I was able to do that. I told them how much I owed. I asked what a down payment would look like. They said what I felt comfortable putting down. I had to tow my car to the dealership so I wanted to make sure I would be able to trade it in and walk away with a new car the same day. Almost 5 hours later, I had to tow my car back home and did not end up purchasing anything. They said I would be approved with a huge down payment. I could not make that. I needed to get my a/c looked at. They looked at it and told me my condenser fan was not working. They said it would cost 400 for the fan and 200 for the labor. It cost 100 just to look at the car (which was ok with me.) I found the fan on ebay for 75 dollars (including shipping) brand new. In fact, I tried to find the most expensive fan I could for my car and it never was above 275. I installed it myself. It was a hassle for me, but worth it. There's a difference between making a profit and ripping people off. These guys tried to rip me off, big time. I'll never go there again. You shouldn't either. read more

I was contacted by an employee trying to get me to come in and finance a car, I told her my criteria and what I could afford and she sent me 10 photos of the cars I could qualify for. I was PROMISED zero down payment because they had so many rebates from unsold vehicles and that they could get me in one of those 10 cars they sent me photos of THAT DAY. I was skeptical but the employee ASSURED me they could make it happen so I wanted to finance a 2014 outlander that had 67,000 miles that they priced around 13,500. The woman convinced me and my husband to come to the dealership and we were excited and had heard all the radio commercials and thought this was the dealership that could get us in a car we liked. WRONG. We get there and it was all a lie. They basically told us the only car they could put us in was some little shitty roller skate mirage car but they wanted 4 GRAND down. I am a fan of the way Mitsubishi vehicles drive. It really depends on who you work with here. And he will recommend what needs to be done and not "forcing" or threating you to do it ( like if you don't do it , you car may breakdown in the middle of the road to kill you). I will say that they happy to fix my transmission. I told the dealership of the small cosmetic damages that were on the car that could be factored into the payments the day that I bought the car and I was told nothing could be done to fix that. I was not referred to any body shops that could repair these items. The guy I had been working with at another dealership, who referred me to Don Herring didn't even receive a commission for the referral.
