I made an appointment with Ricky day before thanksgiving for friday after thanksgiving to meet at 2pm to test drive the honda odyssey. We got there by 2pm and was told car was available but cannot be test driven. The entire inside roof is on the floor of the car as they were fixing moonroof We drove 30 mins to get there and Ricky did not even have basic sense to inform us of the change. Clearly we went on a bad day. I liked a truck they had advertised online, and I filled out their online form about a possible trade-in. Met Nathan and all was good; he stated that the mgr would value our after we drove theirs. Drove theirs and liked it, so I told Nathan that we wanted the truck either way - I would pay full price in cash, orbtrade and paybthe difference. Nathan was casual and friendly. The trouble started when Nathan disappeared and the older mgr 'valued' our truck. My truck is a '13 Ram with 100K miles, but because it has a supercharger - he didn't want it at any price and told us that "they couldn't help us." Fine, but I still wanted to buy theirs (the trade was always optional to me). He rudely told us to "go to Carmax." I asked him if he was serious. He wanted us to leave, rather than buy their truck? He said, "we can't help you - go to Carmax." My wife and I looked at each other in disbelief. I wanted to pay the asking price, in cash, but he basically threw us out. We remain baffled at this rude dismissal. I have never been treated this way by a car-dealer. At this point; they couldn't give me the truck. read more

Less than a year into owning my vehicle I had to replace multiple parts on the suspension, on top of the break lights not even working due to a wiring issue, the radiator was also full of rust and gunk that we have yet to be able to fully flush out. This past year I also had to replace the head gasket and fully re machine the engine head, the transmission gasket has also been leaking. And the pistons and risers have been seized up for who knows how long. We also had to drop the gas tank to replace the fuel pump that just fully stopped working less than a year into owning it. The experience started very positive. The car I wanted to find was easily accessible online and Amanda was very responsive. The complications started when I agree to purchase the car if they would replace the tires. The tires on the car were almost bald. They told me they would take the car to Discount Tire on Coit and replace the tires. When I arrived at the scheduled time to pick up the car after the tires were replace, Amanda told me their "tire guy" had not put the tires on yet. While we waited, my friend and I got something to eat. When we got back to the dealership at the scheduled time again, the car still wasn't ready. We had to go to the Meinke where the oil was being changed to pick up my car. A month after purchase, I noticed my toil tag bill was increasing dramatically. After many frustrating phone calls with NTTA, I discovered that another car had the EXACT same plates I had. I notified Amanda and she ordered new plates. That was my first red flag. About 6 months after I bought the car, the system told me I had low air pressure in one of the tires. I am aware of discount tire's policy on free services with tire's purchased from them. I emailed Amanda for the receipt. She couldn't find it in my file. I asked her to ask her boss if there was something he could do. He called the DT and they had no record of the tires being purchased from them. I was told to contact the Discount Tire where the tire's were purchased and see if there was something I could do. If the person who BOUGHT the tires couldn't do anything, how could I? I am currently sitting at the DT and they told me the tires on my car (that from What I was told were purchased at a discount tire) were the original year of the car! They said the dealership probably just took tires off of another Edge around the same year that had better tread and put them on my car. Talk about a shady dealership! So a year after I buy my car, I'm told all the tires need to be replaced. Great. Save yourself the trouble and buy a vehicle from a bigger and more reputable dealership. read more

The business feels extremely well-run and organized. They are NOT pushy or "salesy" whatsoever. It feels like you are purchasing a car from a family member. The most annoying part of buying a car (new or used) is dealing with the sales people...getting stuck in a salesperson's office while the cheesy manager comes in and introduces themselves. Auto Locators of TX is completely different. You can view their inventory online and come in to test-drive a car if you wish. If you are looking for a specific vehicle, their specialty is locating cars, and they do this through the use of auctions. Richard will email you the cars that are available that week and will obtain the car you are looking for. We were able to test drive the car by ourselves. We noticed a small scratch in the leather, and they fixed it for us easily. Their prices are very affordable - less than a dealership & similar to buying from a private party direct (i.e. craigslist). Our car came with a CARFAX report as well. The financing process was easy and when we showed up yesterday to sign the papers, everything was organized & ready to go. We bought the car in about 20 minutes. Richard personally took the time to show us the car's cool features - like power liftgate, back-up cam & navigation, etc. One last thing that I should mention is that they can upgrade their cars w/ options like Navigation, Back-up Cams, etc - they can also tint windows - again, their prices are less than a dealership. If I could give this shit hole no stars I would. My boyfriend got a truck from here two weeks ago and they said they fixed the squeak. By really they just lubed it up so we couldn't hear it when we first got the truck. Later that day we could hear something was very wrong.
