I honestly don't understand how this restaurant has such high reviews. Our experience was barely worth 1 star. We were seated quickly, but then sat for over 10 minutes before anyone even approached us for a drink order. It only went downhill from there. They handed our kids coloring menus but had no crayons, when we asked, the server took forever to return just to tell us they were out. To make it worse, she noticed our chip basket was completely empty when she delivered the bad crayon news and didn't bother to refill it. When the food arrived, it actually came out hot, but I couldn't eat because my fork was visibly dirty. Nobody ever came back to check on us or refill my husband's water, which ran out right as he started eating. I sat there waiting and waiting for a clean utensil while my food turned completely cold. By the time the server finally showed face, my husband had been done eating for 5 minutes, the kids were done, and my meal was ruined. I told her to just take it back. Completely disorganized, terrible service, and a total waste of a family dinner. read more

We went to celebrate and I'm so glad we found this place. I have tried 3 Mexican Places in the Cleveland area and all 3 were just ok. I was starting to think Cleveland had no good Mexican restaurants. This place had good Yelp reviews and we were close by. My husband and I got the same thing: Burrito Diablo. It was a spicy burrito with a side of rice and beans. It was one of the best burritos we ever had. My husband and I both agreed after the first bite "we chose right". The Spicy Margarita also hit the spot. Our favorite was the extra spicy salsa from the kitchen we asked the waiter for. It was smoky and spicy. We loved our meal. Our waiter was also great and we had an exceptional experience. We will be back next time we are in Cleveland. We finally found a good Mexican place. read more

I ordered ahead for a scheduled pickup from their website. The system provided them the order 20 minutes before the pickup time so the food was super hot and fresh! It was so easy to pay ahead and grab it from the to-go shelf. While I didn't eat in, the staff was quick to greet me when I walked in and helped me locate my order in seconds. I was in and out with my dinner in hand. This location is just 2 minutes from Costco so consider it for pickup soon. I got the carne asada and chori pollo. Both dishes were solid portions with rice and beans to compliment them. To my surprise, our order even came with chips and salsa. Seasoning, temperature, and portions were all a 10 out of 10. I've eaten at countless Mexican restaurants, and this place stands out above the rest. I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were absolutely perfect generously stuffed with shrimp, fresh avocado, and flavorful salsa. My friend had the queso dip and guacamole, both of which were fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavor. This has quickly become my top Mexican restaurant to go to! My go-to dish is the chimichangas, and I absolutely loved these ones. They made them with grilled chicken instead of the shredded, which was a game-changer. The shredded chicken is awful, and it should just be standard to make them grilled. Nice local Mexican restaurant in Avon, OH. we started with tortilla chips & and salsa. we asked for some additional spicy salsa, which he brought quickly over to try. it was spicy but no extra flavor, so we mixed it with their regular salsa, which made it tastier. wife and friends went with Camerones al diablo and one bowl with pork beas rice and sour cream with lettuce. a plate of Carne Alhambra, and I went with the shrimp fajita. All were good and large portions. we all took some of it home as we were full from the abundance of chips. good, Sangria. Perfect for a night out. Nice and new. Fresh and daring drink menu. Try the strawberry one with fresh basil in it as it is truly the best! Loved everything we had. Ceviche and the platter to open it up. Spicy shrimp, taco salad, chicken tacos and the house special pork dish. Tasty. I really want to emphasize their house special pork though cause it was banging. Went on a Saturday around 1:30 pm. The place was hopping with customers. I'd guess 3/4's of the restaurant was filled at that hour. Complimentary chips and salsa were immediately delivered. Salsa was mild and fresh. It was enjoyable (and this is coming from one who loves super hot foods) for a completely mild red salsa. We had the lunch chimicanga (chicken) along with the Tamales Traditional (chicken). Both dishes were served with rice and beans. Two margaritas rounded out the selections - one frozen and one regular - both with slated rims. We were very surprised at the food. And we say that in a very good way. Everything was tasty, fresh and for mexican, light on it's feet. Someplaces the rice and beans weigh me down, but not here. Even the tamales tasted a bit lighter than normal. The marg's had a slight hint of alcohol to them. Completely pleased. Completely impressed. Especially for mexican food in Northeast Ohio (yes, other cities have a much better mexican restaurant representation). Everything was very good and we definitely will return. But the rice and beans had an off flavor for everyone who ordered it. I got a cheese and chicken quesadilla which was pretty good but we received a partial wrong order. We have been here a few times now with the family. We really enjoy the patio. The food os good. As expected for a local Mexican restaurant.

I have dined here 2x. First with just my husband and had a wonderful time with Palomas, apps, and meals. We then went with my kids (they have regular guacamole (no spice) and chicken fingers/fries on the kids menu for my particular toddler!). We had different servers each time, and I will say that each time we both agreed it's been the nicest time out thanks to the wonderful, kind, and efficient service. I even overheard a server kindly and patiently, give descriptions of the meals to another couple that were trying the restaurant out. The restaurant is clean and tables don't stick like they can after a quick wipe down. I have loved every meal I've ordered. My family dined here for dinner. We all had similar comments which was that the food was lacking flavor. Although not terrible, the salsa tasted unusual in a soapy way. The meat was lacking flavor. The rice was fine. The service was average (nothing bad but nothing exceptional). Prices seemed a little high for what we got. Overall I just would not return with better alternative restaurants around me. It just gets a "Meh" and a shrug. read more
