Went here on a Saturday night, around 7pm. Party of 3 and we were seated immediately. Ordered chips and salsa, chips were cold and stale. Then ordered chips and queso, and those chips were fresh and hot. Had 2 24 ounce margaritas which were amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. His manners, saying 'yes ma'am' to every request, really made us feel welcome. only downfall, bathrooms were GROSS and looked like they haven't been cleaned all day. trash, empty cups, and even feminine products on the floor in the stalls. Just when I thought DT couldn't out do themselves, they added Drag Brunch! We went for my daughter's 17th bday, and took the whole family. It was AMAZING! What a show! Family and teen appropriate, but us adults will definitely go back for some adult turn up. OHHH and the food was as expected, delish! 3 courses (with options) sure to appeal to everyones tastebuds. My experience was on par with the best. I really enjoyed all of the food and drinks Matt recommended. Don Titos is a must next time you're in the Washington DC area. The menu has a ton of options that are authentic Mexican as well as some with a updated modern twist. The chef even modified my meal slightly due to my allergy. The tacos are amazing the flavor combinations and the variety is something you won't find anywhere else in Arlington. Although the first few minutes were a rough start being the only two girls dinning at 10pm on a Sunday the service was a little slow but our waiter definitely upped the customer service after we ordered; had to hail him down before hand. But after all I'm sure being extremely hungry and grumpy because of it didn't help, thanks to Don Titos and their amazing tacos to make my Sunday night ! read more

Great happy hour specials with a diverse cocktail menu ... What's not to like?! My boyfriend and I ordered guac, 2 tacos, ceviche, and sliders. All were delish and the server was very attentive. I went here for lunch and was disappointed by just about everything. The service was slow, the guac terrible and not fresh, the tacos were greasy and low on flavor and the rice and beans were incredibly bland. Mexican food is some of the most flavorful in the world so it boggles my mind as to how everything lacked flavor that was instead replaced with salt. Save your money and go to District Taco instead, your stomach and wallet will thank you. I would give this place one star but the rooftop is pretty cool. read more

My friends and I love Don Tito. It's our go-to Happy Hour place, as well as a great place to watch sports games. The food is excellent - get the tacos or the fried mac n cheese bites. Happy hour specials include $3 tacos ($3 for two large tacos) and discounts on a lot of their other food as well. We like the $5 margaritas during HH. We like the second floor best, but any of them are a lot of fun. It's typically a young crowd, regardless of day. read more

I have enjoyed many HH's at Don Titos over the past couple of years. Yesterday I was very disappointed. Per usual, myself and my colleagues hit the roof top for beer and margaritas. The bartender , May, was wonderful. Upbeat, fun, the whole 9 yards. We left to smoke hookah and returned to the first floor to get food at the bar. The bartender, Alyssa, was the worse bartender I have ever encountered. Being in the military, I have met many. She was sarcastic, rude and just plain nasty. My friend found a bug in his drink and was afraid to tell her because of her bad attitude. I took it upon myself to politely bring it to her attention and she responded "of course, y'all are just trying to find something wrong ." I was furiously by her lack of care. It's unfortunate that they have someone like her to work there . When we asked to speak to the manager, she said he was too busy. It just went downhill. I lost my appetite and just left with a mere I'm sorry from the manager. People like good drinks and a great customer experience ! Never been to don Tito decided to go check it out Thursday July 14. It is a Very nice venue!!! Although, Whom ever the woman bartender was up on the roof top bar was rude, condescending and unwelcoming. Because of her my friends and I left with a horrible taste in our mouths for this establishment. I myself tend bar and this bartenders service was extremely off putting. Perhaps if I was a guy I would get better service. But I know I did not climb 3 flights of stairs just to get to get disrespected. Like there's not 20 other bars to chose from in this area. We went early for brunch, 11:30. It was hard to get my fiance to go here because he hates the bro crowd, but we had a great meal for a great price and I really liked the booths, tons of toppings for building your own tacos or nachos, or just to add to the other hot foods. I really liked the ceviche and brussel sprouts, chicken enchiladas and I didn't over do it because there was nice light flavorful dishes and then some rich dishes. We didn't build an omelette or quesadilla but its nice to have the option. The dessert station could of been better, but if I had to sacrafice an area, it would be there. Had our company party at Don Tito a few weeks back. Incredible experience. They really came together and went out of their way to make the night so special for us. It was decorated divinely. The place was great until the asshole bouncer told me to leave the lobby/stand in the ran for my Uber. I had a broken foot and recently moved to the area so obviously this pissed me off. It was my first time coming here last Saturday night and I had a great time. I've read reviews about this place a while ago and it is way better than I expected. My buddies and I decided to meet here and at first, I was a little skeptical because I just don't like crowded places like I used too. I was impressed with the appearance of this establishment. I didn't eat anything. I just came for drinks which were very reasonably priced. The staff that I encountered were very nice and the it was a nice crowd of people. I am remiss that I was unable to make this review much earlier, but things have been awfully hectic. A few months ago, I came to your venue with my girlfriend and another friend. My girlfriend is from Thailand and at the time, did not have a U.S. ID so they would not permit her entrance. While I understand that is policy for a lot of clubs, I was understandably frustrated at the time. We moved off to the side out of the line and I complained about it being stupid just amongst ourselves. One of your bouncers overheard and decided to start arguing with me. I was very angry so I was not very nice, but I decided it wasn't worth it and turned around and walked away from the venue, taking my girlfriend by the shoulder and going down the street. Your bouncer then followed us down the street harassing us and yelling at us, but claiming he was just going to the store, while still harassing us. I was worried for my girlfriend's safety and comfort, so I turned around AGAIN to try to get away from him and eventually he left us alone. I have liked your venue in the past, but you need to do some careful looking at the people you hire for security, as their job is supposed to be to de-escalate, not follow people down the street harassing and intimidating them. I was glad, later on that night, that there were plenty of cops that I would have been able to turn to for help, had your security continued to threatened our safety and personal space. Please do some investigation soon or at least vet your existing bouncers. Thanks, I appreciate it. Now that she has a U.S. ID, we'd love to return, but only if your bouncer is dealt with accordingly. I had the ahi taco which had so much seaweed you couldn't taste the ahi and the shrimp po boy taco that had so much slaw and sauce you couldn't taste the shrimp. The prickly pear margarita was delicious but if they stopped being cheap on the main ingredient of the taco I might go back. Not worth the price. read more

Overall, we were pretty disappointed with this place. I understand it's supposed to be a bar that serves good food, but that's no excuse for poor service. It took about 15 minutes for a server to come over. He said they were confused about the section. That's okay. We moved tables when we first got there (with the host's permission), maybe that threw a wrench in everything. Plus, it's a new-ish restaurant. Even so, 15 minutes to figure out whose section we are in is excessive. The guy was nice enough. He forgot part of our order which, at that point, was frustrating. Our tacos were fine. He did comp one of our meals. I appreciated that, though not enough to ever go back. The server asked me not to go on yelp and write anything bad. That was weird. My friend and I came here for dinner and one of the servers were kind enough to move a table so we weren't directly under the sun due to my sensitive eyes. our first server seemed nice but wasn't attentive and kept disappearing while we were waiting to order food. I took away a star for that. Another server andrew, who came by our table was just amazing. He saved the day. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Location The location is incredible seeing as how it is right in the heart of Clarendon. It is less than a block from the nearest metro stop, two blocks from the nearest bus stop, and there is tons of street parking and parking garages in the area. Drinks Tequila. Tequila. Tequila. The Agave Collins is a MUST! The margaritas are awesome too! They have flavors for days! Food The food is lovely! It is tapas-style which is fun when you're with a bunch of friends (so you can sneak bites of their tacos ;))! The food is inspired by various traditional Latin favorites, but with fusions from around the world. I love the Chinese Five Spice Pork tacos and the Surf and Turf tacos. Packed high with steak and huge pieces of beer-battered shrimp! Enough said! Service As if the Agave Collins and Surf and Turf tacos weren't enough, the staff at Don Tito is truly something exceptional. The service is amazing. My first visit I was seated at a booth on the 2nd floor and joined by my daughter and her friends to celebrate her birthday. It was mid-day, the restaurant was busy with parties of people entering and moving about, laughing and enjoying themselves. Energetic but not overwhelming. Our table was greeted and served quickly. We were able to hold a conversation and really catch up with each other. We had a great time with the menu. This is the place to be in Arlington! There is always a great fun atmosphere when you arrive and while you are there. Plenty of tv's to watch any sport or game you are interested in on the first and second floor. The second floor in the evening becomes a great place to network and hang out with friends. I highly recommend the jalapeno margarita....if you like a good drink with a great kick. The tacos are great as well. I have never had a bad experience at Don Tito's. The staff is great and they work as a great team when it gets slammed. You also never know who is going to be at Don Tito's. It become a hot spot for local athletes and visiting celebrities. I had heard great things about Don Titos but my husband and I had yet to check them out. When we needed to make a lunch reservation to accommodate a group with a gluten free person, two babies in strollers and a toddler, I decided to give Don Titos a call to see if they might work. The person I spoke with said it wouldn't be a problem so we met our friends there for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The first strike was they only had high tops available. I understand the majority of the seating is high tops now having been there, but I wish they would have mentioned this over the phone. It's extremely difficult to care for an infant in a stroller in a high top table. They did offer to move us upstairs, but only had booths available which would have made it extremely difficult again with the strollers. Not a huge deal - it's one of those things maybe you don't think of until you have your own kid, but did prove to be pretty annoying by the end of the lunch. They also had the doors open on a 90 degree humid day and by the end of the lunch, both we and our babies were fussy from the heat. They placed the menus down and explained that we could order from the ala carte brunch menu or the tacos on the lunch menu, but the full menu wasn't available. Again, not a huge deal because they had a large selection of gluten free tacos, but I wish they would have mentioned they didn't have the full menu available when I called the day before. Next our waitress brings over chips and salsa for the table, but unfortunately for my friend with celiacs, they are cooked in the main fryer and are thus not gluten free. I found this pretty disappointing for a place that has so many gluten free options available. My friend was really hungry, having just made the trip down from NYC, so she ordered rice and beans with her meal instead and they were able to make those gluten free. We placed our orders and the tacos came out right away, but those of us who ordered from the brunch menu had to wait another 10 minutes. I hate when places do this!! It makes everyone at the table feel awkward - those of us without food are insisting everyone eat while those with food are trying to seem polite and not eat while watching their meal get cold. Also, 10 minutes is a LONG time between bringing the plates. Certainly enough time to finish two tacos before we even got our food. When we were done with our food, it seemed we lost our waitress's attention, which is a shame because we probably would have ordered more drinks. It was, to their credit, nice to have the low pressure time to catch up with our friends without someone trying to stick a bill in your face every ten minutes to rush you out the door. However, because of the aforementioned crankiness due to the 90 degree heat, it became evident we needed to get our check and move on to a place w a/c and ice water. When they brought over the bill, we saw they had charged $5 each for the rice and beans! Yes, $10 for rice and beans. I wanted to like this place and after tasting the food, want to like it even more! The food was really delicious and the drinks were awesome, but unfortunately I don't think we'll be back. read more
