I spoke with Mike at Air Repair, and he came over (on time) a couple of days later. He saw that my house was relatively new, and asked me when it was built (Dec 2019 - 4 years ago). He took a look at the ducts in the furnace room and said that cleaning the ducts would not help as they are already clean. He recommended changing the air filter a bit more frequently and said that the dust was probably normal. Next, I asked him to look at our dryer vent/tube. He said he would need to come back for that, and he did - on time. Wow! He quickly and efficiently cleared out the dryer tube, vent, and dryer filter. He showed me before and after pictures. He also advised me on how to clean the dryer more efficiently with a long bristle brush and flat vacuum hose nozzle. Very friendly, polite, on-time, and reasonably priced. The technician, Chris, came this morning and quickly identified two different issues contributing to the system's poor performance - a bad capacitor and a tiny part that gone bad that had allowed a pound of refrigerant to leak. I called around 2:30 during the recent snow storm, but main level of my house had no heat as it stopped working. The office manager that answered the phone was very nice and helpful and communicated with me even after calling. The technician, Mitch was punctual, polite, and very knowledgeable. He educated me on a somewhat new system, while making quick work of the diagnosis and repair. All of this, while the service ticket was barely two hours old. Mitch quickly repaired everything and was extremely polite throughout the whole process. They have plenty of payment options (card, cash, or check). The only thing I can recommend is to perhaps follow-up with the customer after their service to ensure everything is still working properly, but that is very minor.
