What an amazing experience with Mark from Lyons!…read more 5+ stars for service, quality, and value. My husband asked several plumbers for quotes, and Mark was the first to reply, right away. He gave us a fair estimate based on the problem description and scheduled a visit immediately. True to his word, he quoted the exact cost when he arrived. During his first visit, Mark was thorough, answered every question, and explained everything clearly. He fixed half the issue on the spot and returned the next day to finish the job. Because the old valve was badly installed and the surrounding "box" cracked when it was removed, Mark went above and beyond. He replaced the whole box and the new valves, a service that would normally cost an extra$200, but he didn't charge us a cent for it. He tested everything before leaving, and when I mentioned our weak‑pressure shower, he instantly diagnosed the cause, explained what caused it, and showed me the issue, and fixed it at no additional cost. I also asked about the slow draining sink, and Mark handed me a tool to remove the debris and showed me how to access the clog. Again, this was free of charge. Mark assured us that Lyons' labor and parts come with a one‑year warranty and that the components used are built to last. In today's world, it's hard to trust someone you don't know, but Mark made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We're thrilled with the service and will gladly refer Mark and Lyons to anyone needing plumbing or drainage help! We will no longer be looking for another plumber again.

I had a plumbing service request with AHS for a pipe leaking in my ceiling. I was a bit…read moreapprehensive when I read the reviews here but I have to say, that I have nothing but high marks for this company based on my personal experience. They reached out promptly soon after the request was assigned to them. I missed the call but when I called back the lady who answered was very pleasant and helpful. She worked to get me on the schedule that day and answered all my questions. The technician Gerson called me 30-35 minutes ahead of arriving to let me know he was on his way as I was told he would. He arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. I was also very impressed and thankful that he brought shoes covers and put them on before entering the house. He was knowledgeable, protected the work area with a blanket and replaced the leaking pipe in minimal time. He was able to address some concerns I had about other potential leaks developing elsewhere given the nature of this current issue. Once he was finished, he tested and observed to make sure the leak was resolved. He cleaned up the work area and the area was clean even though he had to cut drywall to get to the pipes. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Hi Julie, and thank you for being so rude to me on the phone after you cancelled my appointment…read morebecause, apparently, me not confirming with you. Although, your message to me said to call you if I wish "NOT" to keep the appointment; instead of I needed to call to confirm or you would cancel my appointment. Please see the attached photo for your reference as my phone does translate to text your voice call. This company made me wait a week and a half to come back out after the initial visit failed to correct the leak under my bath tub. Julie, on the day of the appointment, cancels my appointment and is unsympathetic, rude, and blaming you for the problem is just bad for customer service. I mean, seriously, you literally told me to call if I wish "NOT" to make the appointment. That means, since I wanted the appointment, I did not have to call...right Julie? Or, maybe if you require people to confirm appointments, do not send a reminder message that does not include "Call us to confirm". Final thought, if AHS refers this company to you, call AHS and request a different one...look at all the reviews here on yelp to understand why.

When they called the office to give them my card info they said no body answered so we would have to write a check . We wrote the check and they tried to cash it a few days later where I guess it bounced . Now they want to charge me 35 dollars for their incompetence after not being able to charge my card in the first place. In my opinion, when it comes to taking payment there should always be someone answering the phone even if it's past 430, or just don't do business after 430. The lady on the phone called screaming at me that my check had bounced and was accusing me of giving excuses, and making assumptions about my character (which I thought was extremely unprofessional) . I told them I would decline to pay the 35 dollar fee but was happy to pay them for the service with my debit card. I was then told that they will take me to court over this 35 dollars. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and I would highly recommend NOT hiring this service.

Four years ago, they replaced my water pressure tank and several failing fittings, and installed a…read morereverse osmosis (RO) system. Given the cost of this work, I expected durable materials, proactive recommendations, and transparent guidance. Unfortunately, both experiences have left me disappointed -- and more importantly, concerned about trust. Regarding the pressure tank: during installation, their team very likely observed an older, visibly corroded metal well intake pipe that had likely been in place for nearly 20 years under prior ownership. Fast forward to today -- I noticed heavy white corrosion on the 4.5-year-old brass fitting and an active water leak. Given the risk of catastrophic failure, I called for urgent service. To their credit, they arrived within two hours, which I appreciated. However, I was then told the metal pipework was not covered under the tank warranty and that it should be replaced with stainless steel -- which they acknowledged would last longer and resist corrosion better than the prior installation -- at a cost of $1,400. When a contractor identifies visibly corroded infrastructure during an install, I expect clear risk disclosure and upgrade options at that time -- not four years later when failure is imminent and the homeowner has little choice. Now to the RO system: at installation, I was told the filters were widely available commercially and easy to replace. I later learned the filters are proprietary and only sold through water system companies -- not readily available via retail as originally represented. That distinction materially affects long-term cost and flexibility. Years later, I called to ask how to sanitize the RO system myself. I was told it's something only they can do and that they would handle sanitization when delivering the next set of filters (rather than shipping them), which I accepted. After the technician sanitized the lines, he casually told me, "You know you can sanitize the lines yourself." That is exactly what I had asked about over the phone. I relied on their guidance, only to hear the opposite in person. For tradespeople working inside a home -- especially on critical water infrastructure -- trust and clarity are foundational. When guidance changes, material limitations aren't disclosed up front, or foreseeable corrosion isn't proactively addressed, it raises concerns beyond just cost. While I appreciate the prompt emergency response, the combination of reactive fixes, proprietary product limitations, and inconsistent communication has made this an unsatisfactory experience overall.
