I love Donato's Pizza and I always try to have it when I'm nearby, as I live thousands of miles from the closest one. This location consistently provides great quality food and service. Tonight, I decided to try their new featured pizza Ultimate Grilled Cheese Pizza instead of my usual Serious Cheese. It was fantastic! It has plenty of cheese, sauce, tomatoes, bacon, garlic, and breadcrumbs. This new pizza is a winner! I hope they keep it on their menu. The Speedway location always has friendly people to help you and a super convenient pick up window. I highly recommend Donato's Pizza, this location, and the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Pizza. read more

Ordered 3 medium pizzas with a coupon. They said 45 minutes. Took an hour and a half. Called to check on order after it was 10 minutes late. Was on hold for 10 minutes. They told me it would be on its way soon. More time passed. Called again, waiting on hold, pizza finally arrived. Delivery driver didnt apologize or say anything. Pizza was barely hot. I arrived to pick up my pizza at 9:00 pm. The front door was locked - probably for security purposes. I was directed by an employee to walk to a side window - unknown it was a drive thru window. My order was not ready - so I paid and stood at the window. The employees should have indicated that it was a safety issue to stand at this location. Communication was key at this point. Many others stood or waited in the parking lot for their orders. Incompetent, rude and non communication describes the employees and their the pick up procedure. The supervisor was equally bad. One employee even told me to go elsewhere if I didn't like their service. Poor customer service, rudeness and indifference describes my entire experience. This is not how you treat a customer. Absolute WORST mask etiquette I've seen from restaurant staff during the pandemic. Of the 3 employees I saw through the window while waiting in the drive-up line, one had a mask covering his mouth but not his nose, the other wore a mask around his chin only (which frankly doesn't count because it wasn't covering his mouth or nose), and the third had no mask in sight. I am absolutely appalled that a food service establishment showed such disregard for the health and safety of its employees and customers in the face of a pandemic that has taken 8,263 lives in Indiana to date. COVID is commonly spread through the droplets we produce when breathing, talking, etc., hence the necessity of masks. Yet these three employees were breathing/talking around food with their noses and mouths exposed and quite literally putting people at risk. I would have left and found a safer establishment had I not already ordered and paid online. This is unacceptable. read more

I've ordered from here four times. Today will be my fifth. I'm not sure where some of these complaints are coming from but I've never had any thing but perfection from here. At first I thought it seemed a little expensive, but then I saw the food and the portions were huge! Price per ounce was VERY inexpensive. I'm someone who can EAT and I had to save half of my calzone! The owner was working the first night I was there and he explained a little about the history of his culinary experience and I was blown away! Plus he was a really friendly guy. Some of the people leaving bad reviews should call and talk to him, (not some kid behind the counter, but the owner) because I'm sure he would make things right. The food is amazing, the prices are right, and the service is great. They did have one employee working the front counter who seemed to be pretty inexperienced at customer service based on the way I heard he talking to a customer on the phone, but I'm guessing thats problem that will solve itself. Ordered pizza at 1pm. Delivery time according to email 142pm. Great, right? 220pm rolls around & no pizza. I tried calling. Just fyi, the hold cuts off exactly at 10 minutes. After doing that 3 times, at approximately 250pm, I get dressed, drive to the store. No one out at the front counter. No greeting. When I explain who I am and my situation I get a rude response that she was the only person there and after I placed my order now wait times are up to 1hr 45mins. While I understand that, that could've been explained to me on the phone if anyone would've answered. I was told she couldn't run the store & answer phones too. She's right. There should've been more than one person running an entire place on a Saturday. So 2 hours+ after I ordered pizza and after my having to pick up my "delivery" there was no apology, no "we will try to do better", no discount for my trouble. Nothing. Nothing except bad attitude and a nasty look as she slammed my pizza box down in front of me. She'd probably over worked & under paid, frustrated as I was at the entire situation, so I try not to hold it against her. I decided to give these guys another shot after they screwed up my order twice in a row. I ordered a pizza a garlic cup and a cheese cup. The pizza was delivered with no cheese or garlic. The pizza isn't that great without it. I called the store and was on hold for 10 minutes, then disconnected. I called again and waited, twice. Also disconnected. I drove to the store. I spoke to "miss Lynn" and explained everything. She said she's too busy to answer the phone and I need to talk to the general manager. She walked back to the kitchen and started making food. I'm standing there still waiting. About 10 minutes go by and she tells another employee to get the missing items. He brings a cup of ranch and garlic. I told him that's not what I asked for. He then says that was what he was told. I asked to speak to the manager again for the district managers phone number. I even apologized for being upset. She told me to call 1800 donatos and walked away. I asked for her name and she said she doesn't give out her name. I'm honestly kind of shocked at the incompetence level. I would not suggest salads from the Donatos in Greenwood, IN. I ordered a Chicken Harvest Salad with extra chicken. Suppose to have cranberries, roasted nuts, apples,bacon. Got not even half of container of salad. Four small strips of chicken, 5 cranberries, no bacon, 5 little pieces of apples, 4 pieces of nuts. When they put the manager on the phone, she was extremly rude and tried to blame us for the mistake two seconds after she said they had a new driver. When I told her that I had a very hungry 4 year old wondering where dinner was she then said in a very snotty way "It will be another 45 mintues" I will NEVER order from these people again. An HOUR AND A HALF later, it finally shows up. It's COLD and BURNT. All of it. I called back to tell them, which they said they could only remake the pizza for a fee. A FEE?! I payed $30 for this meal. They finally said they'd get a new pizza to me asap. They said they couldn't do anything about the bread or the cinnamon roll. An hour later, we call back to tell them we still have not received the pizza. They told us that there's nothing they can do for us. That their last driver just went home. One of the worst encounters, and because of this I will not every give any Donatos my business again. A employee named Andrew was viciously rude. I called in an order at 9:26 and was advised my order would be ready for pick up in 25 minutes. I arrived at the 25 minute mark and had to wait another 15 minutes, I tried to call inside and advise that I was waiting in the line behind another vehicle, was advised to hold, so I hung up and by this time the car in front of me now at the 20 minute mark had moved. I asked Andrew the employee how come they don't have people Pull around when their pizzas not ready he advised that they can't make them move. I pulled off and noticed that my pizza was cold after tasting it. I called back to the restaurant and he advised that I could come back and he would re- make it, I advised that I would preferred to have my money back, and he told me if I had eaten any of the pizza he could only give me store credit, and I advise how would I know that the pizza was cold without tasting it.he was yelling and very unprofessional and kept cutting me off and even blamed my call In to the restaurant for prolonging my order. I order donatos at events, at family events, and my children order it a couple times a week and never have I received this type of service. Ordered 4 pizzas and was told from the manager "Will Morison" claims he forgot to make our order. I call back and he answers the phone "yeah what's up". I say, is that how you answer the phone. He says, "don't make me repeat myself I have the address you are ordering from and don't make me go to jail tonight". I ordered online for pick up. The email told me Friday, the 7th my order would be ready at 7:10 p.m. I pulled up at 7:20, gave the gentleman my name he said he couldn't locate my order. Online no confirmation generated . I sat there for a minimum of 10 minutes for the employee to keep advising me that I had no order! This particular Donatos location has been disappointing time and time again. It took two and a half hours to get a pizza that wasn't what I ordered, and was luke warm. That wasn't the first time that I have had a similar experience from them, but I decided to give them another chance, because working in a restaurant myself, I know that not everything goes smoothly or as planned, but it just seems like a careless "effort" from this location. My delivery man told me that he was on a five house run, which tells me they were clearly understaffed.
