Unfortunately we had a pipe break off under our kitchen sink and had some leakage. I phoned Done Right and they answered right away and was able to get Jesus to my house within a few hours. Had a drain clog in the kitchen. Tried the vinegar and baking soda trick but couldn't get the drain cleared so researched places here on Yelp and found DoneRightDrains &Plumbing. We were able to get an appointment for the following day 2-4pm. Jesus showed up right after 2pm and got straight to work. Our pipe was clogged with years of black sludge, but because we had old cast iron pipes, the snake was not the way to go. Jesus suggested jetting the clog. Additionally he ran a camera from one end of the house to the other to see if there was any other issues to be addressed prior to starting. Except for a few minor roots, and realizing the cast iron was original and well beyond its 50 yr life span, everything else looked good. At some point the cast iron will need to addressed but that's not a today issue. The Jetting job was pricey at $700 but as Jesus explained, even if we didn't have the cast iron pipes, trying to use the snake into that sludge is like putting a fork into peanut butter, you will get through, but as soon as you pull it out the sides will just close back up and you will still have the clog. So unfortunately, this was the best option for our type of clog. Jesus was great, and even cleaned up the cabinet space under the sink when done. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Was done with the work within the 2hr window. If we need a plumber in the future these will be our go to guys! read more
