What a wonderful experience our family had at Kiez Küche & Beer Garden…read more There were nine of us, and we arrived during a World Cup game, so the whole place was buzzing with energy and fun. Our family is German, so we know good German food....and let me just say, they nailed it, my friends. The Jägerschnitzel was the best I've ever had (sorry, Oma). The cucumber salad, red cabbage, appetizers, and beer were all fabulous. And the desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The apple strudel was even better than the one I had at one of the finest restaurants in Berlin, and the bread pudding was a warm ambrosia. I was honestly surprised to see a couple of reviewers taking off stars for the most dumb stuff, because our experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service, the food, the atmosphere...all of it was on point. If you're looking for authentic, delicious German food in a lively, welcoming setting, Kiez Küche & Beer Garden is absolutely worth a visit. Such a memorable meal and experience for our family. We will be back!!!!

You would expect that a restaurant that carries Schnitzel as their main dish - an Austrian staple - and Stiegl beer from Salzburg (Austria) that they would show the Austrian games prominently - but no, Argentina is the game they' chose - based on "popularity" The lesson is probably that if you'd like to see a national team play don't count on your friendly neighbors to the north but rather go to Chilis or Buffalo Wild Wings. Food (Kaesekrainer and Debreziner) were solid though. Atmosphere was fun and I won the urinal soccer game - great idea :)

Been here several times and each time I'm blow away how juicy, crispy, flavorful, or fresh everything tastes. I've never been even remotely disappointed by anything I've ever ordered. It is absolutely on par with the food I ate in Germany so whenever I want a throw back, I come here! I bring everyone here that's interested in quality German food. Price tag is a little hefty but for me, but as an occasional treat, it's well worth it. And the portion sizes are nothing to scoff at so I always feel I got my money's worth.

There was nothing really authentic about their curry wurst. Despite the sauce was really good, I would never order again. I was cramped between others and as the designated driver, I asked for some ice water. The server, still expecting as all others, a tip of 18% plus, would not want to serve, he asked me to help myself on a water station. That would mean that all others would need to get up twice - for me to get a water. I understand that particularly during the World Cup, they do not need my/ our business. Thankfully, there are many options. I wow to never return.

I'm not super familiar with German cuisine, but everything felt authentic and traditional. I ordered their popular Ruben sandwich, served hot with corned beef, sauerkraut, and a Russian dressing on rye bread. It was delicious and packed with meat and flavor. The fries that came along with it were so crispy and tasty. I also tried the breaded veal cutlet, which is a German specialty. Both dishes were very good and hearty. They also have a great beer selection on draft. I went with the Spaten Pilsner, which paired perfectly with the meal. I love that each of their beers is served in its own branded glass. It was just super filling, I wasn't able to finish everything. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I'd come back to and try their various specialties (like their sausages) !

I said I would be just ordering a beer while waiting on my friend, and the bartender let me sample a couple before making my decision for a nice German beer. His management style seems to be "harass first, ask questions never," particularly toward patrons, and even his female staff who unfortunately have to endure his presence. The food? I've had more satisfying meals from vending machines. My dish looked so sad I almost offered it therapy. The poor soul who microwaves the food in the back appears to believe "seasoning" is just a suggestion, and "fresh ingredients" are things they've heard about but never actually seen. The atmosphere? Imagine a DMV waiting room had a baby with a public restroom in a truck stop. You'll find the same delightful mix of desperation and questionable life choices that makes you question your own judgment for walking through the door. Save yourself the trauma and money. HQ down the street has better ambiance, and Pickwicks actually understands the concept of "clean." Trust me, your wallet and self-respect will thank you for going literally anywhere else.

Their concept focused on gourmet sausages, Belgian and German beers, communal dining tables, and a relaxed social atmosphere. We came here with our group our friend and got to feast upon some dogs and wursts. One of the interesting features that have is that they carry exotic proteins such as alligators, rabbit, or rattlesnake in their links; but if you're more of a vanilla eater, than you're probably opt for the beef, pork or chicken flavored. Either way, make sure you pair it with any of their 10+ beers on tap and you'll for sure enjoy every moment of that bite. I ordered their cheddar bratwurst topped with pickled jalapenos and carmelized onions in a pretzel bun. The wurst was kind of the dry side but beer always helps. I do think sometimes that they over cook it which drys out all the delicious fat out of the links but I am here for drinks and a good time. Great spot to hang out for any type of gathering.

We got ourselves a sausage sandwich and a cold cut sandwich and my boyfriend got some cuts to go as well. My boyfriend also got an imported beer and an extra pickle spear. For our side, we got some potato salad. I love potato salad and this was the perfect side. Sandwiches have the perfect toasted level, and isn't dry.
