Getting all six of us together can be quite the challenge though at times selecting the location puts the stress for many reasons but luckily Paul C has been here and was recommended so here we are. Funny enough I've passed here countless times and had forgotten it's even located on the ground floor of Imperial Plaza which does have parking making it easy for us to gather. What was easier is that he knew the recommended items to order... - Pan fried dumplings...such a sucker for dumplins - Fried Oysters (I'm sorry I chickened out on them) - Steamed dumplings...so good I took three pics of them lol! - Jajangmyeon...noodle nut lover but was okay for me - Shrimp that looked spicy (allergic) that everyone loved ;) - Beef Bittermelon...not bad for a person that don't eat bitter melon - Salt & Pepper Chicken wings...winner winner it was SO yummy! - Sweet & Sour Fish All very different in it's own way but was very good the only down side for me personally is they don't have their own bathroom and you need to walk quite the distance right off the parking garage provided by the building which was a big thing for me personally but the staff is very nice and I enjoyed myself as sharing with friends made it much more fun. Crisp thin coating on the outside, nicely seasoned with tender juicy chicken meat, and not all bones. The fried oysters were also pretty good. Most everyone enjoyed the spicy fried shrimp. Again, coated and seasoned, the shrimp had a nice kick of chili. Having the combination of steamed and fried potstickers was also a great idea to share. The beef with bittermelon was great. Perfectly cooked, the beef was tender and the bittermelon wasn't soggy. This dish had wonderful flavor, in my humble opinion. The sweet sour fried fish was yummy too. Excellent texture, this fish wasn't over nor undercooked :) And dinner is not complete without noodles. We enjoyed the jajangmyeon, which they also served with pickled veggie side dish. Our server Elise was fantastic! From beginning to end of our meal, she took really good care of us. Attentive and polite, she was quick to refill water and hot tea without us having to ask. Love, love, loved my experience dining here with friends. Very reasonable prices, lots of parking available, tables and chairs were clean, food was delicious, and service was fantastic! Wish I knew about them sooner and so glad they have been around for a while. Will certainly return!!

Tofu skin wrap roll had a kinda weird aftertaste. The steamed dumplings skin was terrible. You could see in the picture that it wasn't translucent. I think I've had better dim sum from the frozen section at Hmart. It seems busy at times coz apparently some tour group come here. I hope every business stays in business and they continue to get business from tourists, but not from me unfortunately.

Unfortunately, that special has been discontinued. Our server said that the new owner probably discontinued that special... maybe ten years ago... LOL! This place has been around for quite awhile! Bonus: For free parking, enter the parking structure from Beretania Street, before the building, and go up to the second floor for "commercial parking". We couldn't find the door to the restaurant from the parking structure (it's hidden behind a pole), so we ended up on Beretania Street and walked around the block to the entrance on Kalakaua Avenue. There's a door in the restaurant's hallway that leads to a stairway to the parking structure. The interior is very spacious. There are actually two rooms - maybe the back room can hold a private party! Service was pleasant and helpful! I ordered my favorite: vermicelli with spring roll and grilled pork. It was ok... not the best, but not bad. I'm happy to finally have dined here!

I really don't want to pay extra for metered street parking and this establishment is closed on Sundays when metered street parking is free. I drove past one day and noticed an available metered parking stall on the street. I thought that i could be quick, so I briskly walked to the shop. Inside, it's kind of dated and the air-conditioning wasn't on high, so I was okay with Takeout. The two employees at the front were conversing. I'm not sure if one was being trained, but hey... a customer is waiting to order... Finally, there was a break in the conversation and I had a chance to order a Tofu Banh Mi. I asked if there was a credit card fee... i paid cash to avoid a higher price. Eventually, I took my bahn mi home and had to cut it in half. Hmmm... ok... The taste was alright. The bread was soft. I don't know if the outer crust had a crunch on it or not because there was a delay in consuming it. This might be a one and done...

I've tried a few other pho restaurants on island and their broth is not as flavorful or authentic as this place. Diana is always working and is so friendly and efficient and fast. This lady runs the restaurant and serves everyone on her own with a smile on her face. Plenty of photos on the menu but I normally get the pho dac biet with fried egg rolls. Those two items hit the spot. I like that they use the skinny noodles in their pho. Good flavor in the broth, comes out fast and piping hot. The medium bowl is my go-to which gives me enough room to share the egg rolls with the bf. I always leave satisfied and full. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend for your Vietnamese food cravings.
