One of the best spots for alterations! Don is a true professional and is always generous and courteous. He has already fixed my buttons on my dress shirt that I needed immediately and just fixed my favorite beach shorts zipper and my fur babies favorite dog bed zipper. He redid the whole zipper on my fur babies dog bed and its so much better than the first one. Overall, for all three alterations, I spent less than 25 bucks. DO NOT COME HERE WITH YOUR EXPENSIVE DRESSES!!!! Took my $250+ bridesmaid dress in to get hemmed and he basically ruined the dress. The bottom is VERY uneven and unfinished. I'm assuming he didn't even lay it out to cut the fabric. There are threads popping out everywhere. Some areas are even too short so in order to make it even the whole bottom will need to be even shorter and it will ruin the entire look of the dress, which is supposed to be floor length; now it'll be calf length once this disaster is fixed. He even cut too much of the lining off to where it doesn't line up with the outside. I paid $30 to get my dress absolutely destroyed 4 days before the wedding. I don't know what or how he did this to make it turn out so terrible but $30 for this hack job is ridiculous. I'm embarrassed to even attempt to wear this in the wedding so hopefully I can find someone who can fix it. read more

This Guy is a pro with leather. I recently bought some leather pants for riding my motorcycle in colder weather. Being a big guy it's hard to find the perfect size. Anyhow the pants i bought were a little snug in the waist, too long and missing Velcro to hold the padding in place. So i set out to get it altered. I was turned down by three alteration shops ( one of which had leather in their name.) they all had some lame excuse about how they're machines couldn't handle the thickness of the leather. I had gone to Don before too put Velcro in my leather riding jacket, so he wasn't a stranger. On the day i went to pick up my jacket. I asked him if he'd be willing to help with my pants, he agreed and told me leather was his specialty. What i wanted was no easy task, i wanted the pants shortened from the center (above the knee) and they have a zipper on the inseam (that absolutely had to stay.) i brought my favorite jeans as a guide but he didn't need them. I tried them on and he measure how much excess material was in the thigh. We agreed on price and he gave me an estimated time. I figured it would take long considering i thought it was going to be very difficult, but ten days later he calls me back and they were ready to go. He removed five inches of material (keeping the functional zippers on the inseams) and added an extra inch to the waist. If your reading this and looking for leather, stop looking and go to Don. The man is a professional and dedicated to giving you the most accurate fit for all shapes and sizes. I'm never going to take any clothing to another tailor, I'm going straight to Don. read more

Don was super fast in answering my inquiry about fixing my Gucci backpack. Both zippers were broken and part of the zipper track was missing. I was able to drop it off same day. It was a pretty hard repair so he took it to see if he could repair it or or he would need to replace the entire zipper. Don was able to repair it which took about a day. It looks perfect and I can't even see the part of the track that was missing. It's perfect! He also did a conditioning treatment to the leather. My Gucci backpack looks brand new.
