Anthony came to our house - wearing a mask and coverings for his shoes, and kept his distance the entire time! This was late April, in the middle of Covid Quarantine! I was impressed with the customer service of Don's Appliances. They scheduled a visit immediately, sent an email to confirm and the technician called to give us an ETA within the two-hour arrival window. So appreciated. Turns out we needed a new control panel for our glitchy oven and stove top. We said fine and actually sort of forgot about it. I get a call from their main office a few days later to tell me that the part came in and they wanted to schedule the fix for before Thanksgiving to make sure we had a working oven for the holidays. Very thoughtful. On the day of the repair, we didn't get another confirmation. Just as I was about to call the office to make sure someone was coming, I got a call from the technician to tell us they were 20min out. A pleasant surprise for someone who is used to having to chase down service providers to make sure they were actually coming. The technician that came was courteous and friendly. He fixed our oven and stove in about 40min. And for less than the price they quoted! Then he also did us the favor of helping us with a minor item in our bathroom. I wanted to give a strong review even though I wasn't technically a customer... My dryer had an error code and I left a message on their voicemail to see if it was something they could fix. I got a prompt return call within 24 hours or less and the gal that called me asked all the right questions. I ended up sending a pic of the model number and other details. The next day I got a return call saying that on this older unit, parts might not be available and instead of me paying $125 fee to send out a technician I was given the best advice to likely go with buying a new dryer... I found Don's appliances from my next-door app with high remarks. Before calling Don's appliances I took the time to read the yelp reviews. On Sunday 6/9/2019 I left a message and my call was returned on Monday morning by Breanne. Breanne was very helpful working with me on my repair schedule time. At the time of the call I didn't have the exact model number of the dryer so Breanne asked me if I can send her a picture of the tag which she stated was on the door of the dryer. After I got home, I checked and I send Breanne the picture via cell text. Due to my schedule Breanne gave me an appointment for 6/12/2019 between 4pm and 6pm. Which these are the hours I requested. I feel if I didn't request these hours the service call date would have been much faster. But I was so appreciative that Breanne worked with me on my schedule. Anthony did arrive a bit before 4PM which probably worked out better for both of us. Once Anthony arrived, I explained the problem and Anthony said well let me check it out. Anthony was very careful not damaging the walls and not laying anything against the walls. That assured me that Anthony was showing concern and pride in his work. Once Anthony found the problem, he called me over and showed me the broken part. Anthony went to his company van and had an OEM Samsung upgraded part available. But what really impressed my wife and I was when Anthony went back to his company van my wife walked to the dryer and seen lint and other debris on the inside dryer cabinet floor. She said I am going to give e quick vacuum. I told my wife it's not that bad and please don't get in Anthony's way. We were at a loss to find a reputable repair service for our old reliable Kenmore clothes washer that was starting to show its age in not spin drying a load of wash. Several previous experiences with other repair services on other appliances were less than acceptable, and our neighbors were not much help in recommending another one. We blindly picked Don's Appliances Inc from a list on Yelp as they seemed to have a majority of very good ratings. It turned out to be an excellent decision as their service tech, Rory, exhibited a high degree of skill and knowledge in dealing with our washer. They were able to respond the next day to service the clothes washer and, as it turned out, our dishwasher too, as it developed a problem with the door springs on the morning of our service appointment. Rory called prior to his appointed time slot, and was actually able to arrive several hours early. He diagnosed the problem with the clothes washer as being not cost effective as parts (if they were even available) and labor would exceed that of a new unit. However, he was able to make some adjustments and tweaks to enable the washer to limp along for a while longer until we could find a suitable replacement. He even made some good cost saving suggestions on what to look for in a new washer. As for the dishwasher, he had the parts needed to repair the door springs, and took care of that problem quickly. We will definitely use them again and recommend them highly. read more

This is the third time we've called this business for appliance repair, but only my second review. We've been happy with the service provided each time. Josh came again this time and diagnosed the problem with our oven and said he needed to order the parts. It took two weeks to get them, but he kept us informed the whole time and then set an appointment to install them. It was a two-man job since they had to remove the entire oven/microwave unit and he brought Carlos with him. Not only are they skilled and efficient, but they are just so darned nice as well. My oven now works better than new. It wasn't cheap to repair, but we felt the price for parts and labor were completely fair. Its never pleasant when things break down, but I totally recommend you call Don's for appliance repair; you'll get fair and competent service and perhaps have a few laughs to ease the pain. read more

Our Thermador range needed service that was quite difficult to diagnose, let alone correct. Our technician, Anthony, truly went beyond the call of duty with our service call. We reset the temps per the manual and it wouldn't keep. From the initial phone call for a quote to the actual service visit, we received excellent customer service.
