This is the second time I come to this place. Food is awesome. Very very good food Services wonderful staff is friendly place is clean. I would definitely recommend this place. Just if you're planning on taking it to go if you're a driver like myself, I recommend to place the order on the phone so you won't have to wait, about 10 to 15 minutes. The only thing for me I would used a thicker teriyaki sauce, but the one they give you it's good that's just my opinion on the teriyaki sauce. The food is.

I always say I'll go here to eat, but I always end up going somewhere else. Well, not this time. Small parking lot, but this is a no thrills time of restaurant. Everything is cooked to prefer. I got a pastrami burger. I forgot that you have to pay extra for cheese, but my burger had a charbroiled taste, and that pastrami has that salty zing to it, but it's not overly salty. It's a nice size burger. My portion for the chili cheese fries was pretty big. I got a small drink too. Combined some orange Fanta, Sprite, and Pink Lemonade Hi-C. Very refreshing. They like cutting their lettuce into squares. Bun was toasted. Nice and thick cut tomato and raw onions. Fries were well seasoned. Good amount of chili and cheese. Definitely worth the seventeen and change I spent. I've also noticed they sell beer on tap, and beer by the bottle at a reasonable price. The bottle are like, under $4! I'll be back!

Being frequent customers there, they have consistently given more than a money's worth of food. So much, that most of my family have to save half and eat it later (which in itself is hard to do). From personal experience I wanted to eat the whole serving because it was that good. So if the price intimidates you, don't be cuz the amount they give matches the price. It is one of the places where the quality alongside quantity rather than one or the other. read more

It is a small shop, the woman who is cooking is really friendly. I requested half of the beef and half of chicken teriyaki, it was very delicious. It is open from 8:30 am, so it seems to be useful for workers from early morning. I will definitely go again. read more

AMAZING quality! The fried rice was not greesy or dry at all. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The teriyaki chicken was surprisingly tender and the spicy pork was not too salty or seasoned, it was cooked just right with perfect taste and spice! Looks like a Great place just to have a Big ole Cold One.Theres always dudes out there on there lunch just hoisting them back.I think it's Bud straight up on tap!So A friend of mine needed help on a weekday so we went and had one of those big ole beers and a Dons Burger With bacon.Shit was off the hook for a place that's open maybe 6 hrs a day 5 days a week.See it's located in the heart of SFS business community,So It provides many burgers and beers to Neighborhood employees.Cheers to Don on a wonderful eatery! read more

Don's Eatery is the place to go for a solid lunch! I got their shrimp fried rice, my husband got the spicy pork teriyaki, and we shared the chili cheese fries. The spicy pork is juicy and has the perfect spicy level. There were lots of legit sized shrimps in the fried rice. Both came with a salad & dressing on the side which was a perfect complement to the meal. The chili cheese fries were bomb too. The portions are pretty big so we were super full after with leftovers. I got the chili cheese fries the last time that I was there and they were amazing. Good customer services and fast food preparation. My only gripe was the portion of the food. Foods delicious. Give them a try! I've never been disappointed. Support local business by calling your order in instead of using 3rd party online ordering system. They have outdoor seatings but I always get it to go. I've been going here practically every Fri + Mon on my way to work. It's the closest restaurant to work which is why I tried it on my first day of work but I kept returning instead of trying other places. If they were opened during the weekends, I'd most likely would have went Fri-Mon. Fortunately I'll be quitting my temp job down the street from here this or next week as I start a new job on Monday but unfortunately that means today may be the last time I ordered from them. This place is great. Good food and great service. It's a husband/wife tag team and they work so hard and well to get food out as quick as possible. I like to get their 1/2 chicken and 1/2 Korean style beef teriyaki plate, served over rice and a nice little green salad. My husband will get the cheeseburger combo, then we split it. The Don's burger is made with a handmade patty. Yum!! They serve beer here too...by the bottle and by the pitcher with frosted mugs. Simple perfection. I could eat here every day. Their food is clean and healthy. We could not get enough of their salad. So crisp and refreshing. I love that their food is not smothered in sauces to make it too salty or heavy. They are a lunch spot and they're healthy enough to literally eat every day. Can not recommend their salad enough. Was recommended by a friend, happened to be in the area so decided to try it out a bit of a Korean teriyaki fusion, stuck with the basic spicy pork. It was just like a moms cooking, tasted great not too spicy not to sweet just perfect. Along with the pork had to try the chili cheese fries, upon ordering they asked if I wanted chopped onions and that just made it 10x better. Absolutely AMAZING. We were searching for a new teriyaki spot to try and so glad we discovered this hidden place! The food was very fresh and the quality was the best! We shared Chicken&Beef Teriyaki, Combination Fried Rice, and Chili Cheese Fries, and all of them were so good and the portion was pretty big :) Since there are so many other menu options, we are definitely going to try other food in the near future. Though I've been to Uptown Provisions twice before to support my friend Andrew M, as well as my other friend Andrew P. with Satori Coffee Project, this was my actual visit where I finally ate! Third times the charm! Tucked nicely into a Penn St. neighborhood, Uptown Provisions can easily be spotted by the loyal patrons waiting/dining outside. May the street parking gods be kind to you as they always provide me with a spot nearby. Knowing what I already wanted from doing my menu homework the night prior, I was practically drooling on my way in. Greeted by a great staff & friendly fellow patrons, I felt right at home. I went with the "Tom's Way" sandwich. Dedicated to one of their favorite customers, it's a crossover between an egg sandwich & a pastrami. It was perfect! Chef Aaron describes his sandos as the perfect West Coast sandwich, & that I can totally agree with. Tom's Way provided me with a robust sandwich blend that never knew I needed until now. Each component's flavor profile blended together nicely. I'm usually hit or miss with rye bread, but this rye hit the mark & held the ship together. The eggs were made with care & prepared in a way I've never tasted before, very delicious. Pastrami was tender, pickled onions provided the bitter tangy component while the broccoli slaw became the soothing blanket that nestled every flavor together. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They post a 20 minute wait time but I got mine in 15. Great things come to those who wait. They do not have a public bathroom so plan your visit accordingly. They have a few counter seats inside with plenty more outdoor seating in front with friendly locals chatting it up. Don't be shy with the napkins. Why are you open at all, let alone on a holiday if you hate your customers or don't want to help anyone/work? There were very few customers inside and the employees attitude (the ones not preparing orders) was just nuts. I have 12 minutes of video, it's wild. The absolute best place you can go for sandwiches, deli meat, pretty much anything deli/Italian market is Claros in La Habra. They were closed- that's why we tried Lascaris. Claros also likes their customers so try them out. It's a win win.

Averages to about $15/person - solid, especially for the quality. I can't vouch for the sandwich or tacos as I did not personally try them (thanks for sharing guys, /s) but I will say the bibambap bowl was a massive hit for me. Thing was enormous. I lift weights (slight flex on y'all) but means my appetite is a little higher than average. I still managed to get two meals out of the bowl. It was jam packed with veggies, an egg, beef, all on a bed of rice. Whole thing was beautifully seasoned you wouldn't even know you're eating mostly vegetables. I added jalapeños to mine - and it goes great, nice little kick to the whole dish. Only sucky thing is that this dish is only available on Wednesdays - but I suppose that adds to the appeal slightly as it's worth the wait. First off, let me explain something to everyone...this place is run by a Korean couple, and their English is limited. Their way is different from American, so cut them some slacks. The foods were ok. I just had a hamburger combo. The burger patty was char. There were plenty lettuces, but the tomato slice was super thin. The burger ok. The fries were thick and straight cut--ok. Drink is just an orange soda. It is ok, but there is one thing. Since the owners are Korean, their bbq plate should be quite good. The price is ok. I heard the place is under new ownership simce I've last tried back in late 2018. wow.. the place had a make over with new ownership and with the new look on interior the food looks more appatizing than ever!
