Pickup order for a single breakfast burrito via GrubHub. Walked from my office at pickup time, young man said they didn't refill the printer paper, therefore my order was not made. Please note* I kept a straight face, no sarcasm, low volume, and did the least amount of talking in this experience.... Register communicated situation to cook (owner??) who was building a huge order that just came in, of dozens of sandwiches. Customer-focused business dictates a brief pause to build the simple burrito and fulfill the service you *already took my money* for, right? No, the cook was not willing, zero apology from him, and only option expressed was to get behind the catering size order, or else I would be interrupting fulfillment of their current order.... wow. A Monday morning full of Zoom Calls had me craving a burger come lunch time. A friend recently mentioned the Burgerstop and it was my opportunity to finally try it. It's a very lowkey establishment with the classic mom and pop burger vibes. The food was delicious, I was surprised how crispy the fries and onion rings were and not greasy at all. The onion ring batter was thick and consistent, almost like a beer batter. The bacon. Double cheeseburger was tasty: thick cut bacon, diced onion, lettuce and sliced tomato. The cheese ratio was generous with every bite being gooey and decedent. It definitely reminded me of Tam's Burger or Burger Basket with a slightly higher quality. The only negative preventing 5 stars would be the higher than normal prices for a mom and pop burger spot but the price constitutes the quality. It was a really good lunch! The burgers here were so good! Of the menu is simple and an In-N-Out sort of way, and I think that's what makes it so good. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered the impossible burger and it's definitely one of the best I've ever had. Service was friendly. Found this hole in the wall burger joint. Very clean inside and quick. Our food was fresh and the fries were made to order, perfectly fried and crispy. My burger was tasty! Generous with the avocado and bacon cooked right (you be surprised how people can't cook bacon). The spread reminded me a tad like Bob's Big Boy (if you know you know). My husband ordered the chicken & beef bowl - good size and he said it was pretty good for being a burger place. This spot is literally a hole in the wall in an industrial business plaza! You definitely would not expect a food joint to be in here. However, they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to making tasty food! The cashier was very attentive when it came to helping out my friend and I with any questions that we had. We came during lunch time for a quick bite, and it was filled with other people who looked to be on their lunch break, either eating alone or with coworkers. When it comes to the food, wow, it is tasty and very cheap in price, but quality in ingredients. The cheeseburger had so much flavor, and the fries were nice and crisp! And then they charge 75 cents extra for the smallest thing of ranch. 35 bucks for two burgers, fries, and fried zucchini with drinks. Not worth the money. Got a double cheeseburger and fries. Everything was made fresh but it just wasn't to my taste. The lettuce is shredded and mixes in with the sliced onions. I prefer leafed lettuce and a slice of onion ala In N Out. My first impression was that it tasted similar to a Big Mac because of the dressing, shredded lettuce, and onion slivers. This little fast food place is located in a "blink and you'll miss it" strip mall within an industrial area. They serve burgers and sandwiches that are obviously geared toward the backbone of America - the hard working manual laborers who have a real man-sized appetite. Here you'll find big sandwiches for a good value. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The interior is spartan with a handful of industrial tables and a complete absence of decor. But the place is kept spotless and the condiments well stocked by the friendly, conscientious employees. I arrived at lunchtime and ordered a pastrami sandwich with waffle fries and a drink. As I waited the few minutes for my food to be ready I noticed that most of their business seems to be take-out; boxes of lunch bags full of burgers and sandwiches were being picked up by office secretaries and warehouse personnel who could bench press me with one arm. The pastrami sandwich was monstrous. Massive amounts of pastrami were stuffed to overflowing in a hoagie bun with some yellow mustard and pickles. This was a super-sized hungry man sandwich. Both bread and pastrami were a little tough to bite through and the pastrami was somewhat lacking in flavor. The waffle fries didn't have any fancy seasoning but were excellent. Ranch dressing was provided to dip the fries into. Drinks were available at the soda fountain with 10 or so choices (I chose Orange Crush). I wavered in my rating as it probably deserves four stars for the large amount of food for a very good price and for knowing their customer base and serving them well. My rating is more in comparison to other pastrami sandwiches in OC and L.A. County. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised to find out a second location opened up in Norwalk. The burgers, fries, and everything are as good the Santa Ana location. They have The Best fried zucchinis anywhere!! I've had fried zucchinis in pubs, bars, diners, and bougie places. None of those joints make them better than The Burgerstop. I went here yesterday with a friend and got the pastrami sandwich combo. It was good fast service. Fresh fries and a BIG portion of pastrami. It was a good ratio of mustard to pastrami.
