    Onion Rings

A Monday morning full of Zoom Calls had me craving a burger come lunch time. A friend recently mentioned the Burgerstop and it was my opportunity to finally try it. It's a very lowkey establishment with the classic mom and pop burger vibes. The food was delicious, I was surprised how crispy the fries and onion rings were and not greasy at all. The onion ring batter was thick and consistent, almost like a beer batter. The bacon. Double cheeseburger was tasty: thick cut bacon, diced onion, lettuce and sliced tomato. The cheese ratio was generous with every bite being gooey and decedent. It definitely reminded me of Tam's Burger or Burger Basket with a slightly higher quality. The only negative preventing 5 stars would be the higher than normal prices for a mom and pop burger spot but the price constitutes the quality. It was a really good lunch! Thank you Burgerstop!

Found this hole in the wall burger joint. Very clean inside and quick. Our food was fresh and the fries were made to order, perfectly fried and crispy. My burger was tasty! Generous with the avocado and bacon cooked right (you be surprised how people can't cook bacon). The spread reminded me a tad like Bob's Big Boy (if you know you know). My husband ordered the chicken & beef bowl - good size and he said it was pretty good for being a burger place. I work in La Mirada down from the Swapmeet, so I'll definitely come back & try something else.

Tucked away in an industrial area Burgerstop draws crowd from surrounding businesses... that explains limited hours of operation. Enjoyed burgers n waffle fries but nothing to write home about. Meat quality lacking a bit. I'd compare it's operation to a Tams Burger. Clean restaurant with good service makes you want to come by maybe now n then.

Where is this lady ? She really took pride in making her burgers.

I used to frequent this place before they had their little shutdown. I believe they have new management now because before their burgers were great. Sadly, now their burgers aren't as great as before ( less flavor , smaller burger patty like literally about 10g protein patty like the ones you get at Tams. Before, they used a thick patty like a quarter pounder, yet the price remains the same. I used to come here for the value and taste, and it's no longer here.

This spot is literally a hole in the wall in an industrial business plaza! You definitely would not expect a food joint to be in here. However, they definitely know what they're doing when it comes to making tasty food! The cashier was very attentive when it came to helping out my friend and I with any questions that we had. We came during lunch time for a quick bite, and it was filled with other people who looked to be on their lunch break, either eating alone or with coworkers. When it comes to the food, wow, it is tasty and very cheap in price, but quality in ingredients. The cheeseburger had so much flavor, and the fries were nice and crisp! This place looks to be a staple of the community, and hidden gem and I'll definitely be coming back!

Since it was our first time (thanks to tik tok!), Henry went over the menu and shared his personal favorites as well as the most popular among customers. He did tell us they are known for their sandwiches. We went with one breakfast burrito and the granada sandwich, respectfully. We had them cut in half too. We then decided to eat the burrito (she had half and I had half) and save the sandwich for dinner later that day. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. I would say 8/10. It was a good size as well which is why we shared it. Now, when we had the sandwich (shared as well) later for dinner OMG it was delicious!! Every ingredient mixed well together. So much flavor! We got jalapeño aioli as a dipping sauce and man oh man was it good! We will definitely be returning! And honestly, I can't wait! Some notes: If you need to use the restroom, you gotta head over to the movie theater across the way as Monty's does not have a public restroom. Be patient as there is a wait time. It wasn't packed at all, but we believe there aren't many cooks back there. It's okay though, totally worth it in our opinion.

We all ordered sandwiches, and despite there being no other customers in the restaurant, it took nearly 30 minutes for our food to come out. I ordered the turkey sandwich with mayo on the side, but it arrived without the cheese or onions that were supposed to be included. The employee at the counter was very apologetic, which I appreciated, but it didn't make up for the long wait and incorrect order. In total, we spent $56 on sandwiches that were mediocre at best. Sadly, the food and overall experience did not live up to the positive reviews.

I've tried their signature The Melrose, which consists of black forest ham, oven roasted turkey, bacon, melted White American cheese, topped with house slaw (lettuce, red onions, pepperoncini tossed in their "Melrose" spread) and tomato. I've only ordered from here through Postmates, and every time their packaging is excellent--they wrap each sandwich in this cute wrapper, which adds a fun touch and keeps everything neatly intact and fresh by the time it arrives. .., meet Whittier's Uptown hero!…read more My experience here was from 6/26/26 & it did not disappoint. Though I've been to Uptown Provisions twice before to support my friend Andrew M, as well as my other friend Andrew P. with Satori Coffee Project, this was my actual visit where I finally ate! Third times the charm! Tucked nicely into a Penn St. neighborhood, Uptown Provisions can easily be spotted by the loyal patrons waiting/dining outside. May the street parking gods be kind to you as they always provide me with a spot nearby. Knowing what I already wanted from doing my menu homework the night prior, I was practically drooling on my way in. Greeted by a great staff & friendly fellow patrons, I felt right at home. I went with the "Tom's Way" sandwich. Dedicated to one of their favorite customers, it's a crossover between an egg sandwich & a pastrami. It was perfect! Chef Aaron describes his sandos as the perfect West Coast sandwich, & that I can totally agree with. Tom's Way provided me with a robust sandwich blend that never knew I needed until now. Each component's flavor profile blended together nicely. I'm usually hit or miss with rye bread, but this rye hit the mark & held the ship together. The eggs were made with care & prepared in a way I've never tasted before, very delicious. Pastrami was tender, pickled onions provided the bitter tangy component while the broccoli slaw became the soothing blanket that nestled every flavor together. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They post a 20 minute wait time but I got mine in 15. Great things come to those who wait. They do not have a public bathroom so plan your visit accordingly. They have a few counter seats inside with plenty more outdoor seating in front with friendly locals chatting it up. Don't be shy with the napkins. Thank you Uptown Provisions for a great experience, I shall return!

Now the one in the video is super complicated, uses 10 eggs, and takes a long time to prepare. Nevertheless, i still felt like something in that genre. This place was the closest place to my home in that genre. So I went. The place itself is minimalist, clean, and has eggy colors. It's clearly a chain, but that doesn't make it bad. I ordered my food via kiosk. I ordered the classic egg sandwich and a New Orleans style cold brew. It was done quickly and looked good. When I saw the ingredients, I was leery of all the mayo. Aioli is mayo with a different name. So there's a "signature egg sauce", that's mayo based, and "house siracha aioli", also mayo. I like mayonnaise, but not on everything. I ordered it with the siracha version on the side. The sandwich has toasted brioche bread and the eggs are super fluffy, topped with chives. It's served standing up on its side in a box that keeps it that way. That part works. The egg sauce is on the top, as are the chives. The first couple of bites, with the sauce, were my least favorite bites. It wasn't bad. I realized I should have ordered both sauces on the side. After the first few bites, it was delicious. The eggs are rich and fluffy and don't need the sauce, imho. i tried the siracha on a couple of bites and it's fine on the side. The only thing that'd make it better is the chives being on more than the top. But it's a very good egg sandwich. The cold brew had a little chicory in it, which I liked. I'd come here again when I want an egg sandy.
