This is the best glass repair shop! They are very professional and fast. I know they have a mobile service but I decided to drive down to have my windshield repaired. Receptionist was very nice. The waiting area was the nicest I've ever seen! Comfy leather sofas , free drinks and snacks! They had a gourmet coffee maker, selection of hot teas, A mini fridge full of variety of sodas and cold water and a selection of chips for snacks! The wait wasn't very long but they made sure they treated their customers right! They did a fantastic job on the windshield and the price beat the competitors because I did my research! I have used them a few times for windshield replacements, with the most recent time being a week ago. They have always been great! I can always get an appointment quickly, the girls in the office are helpful and friendly when making the appointments and each time the guys who have come out to replace, have been good. They had what we needed, which was a relief. Not easy to find anywhere else. HOWEVER, they're communication system needs improvements. I had to pick up an item that they had ordered, and I was told they would call me when it came in the next day so I didn't have to waste any time waiting. I was told to expect a call around 11AM. Around noon, I called them and asked if it had arrived. They put me on hold to check, then said they would call back soon after they checked the back. TWO HOURS LATER, I called again. They said their system showed it as delivered but the shop was not answering the phone so they did not know for sure if it was there or not. They said just head over because it should be there. Thankfully it was, or I would have wasted a trip out there (I'm coming from another town.) Otherwise, very friendly staff with friendly advice. read more

Went here to get my windshield replaced and recalibrated. Customer service was great. Trina and the rest of the staff were very friendly. When I got my car back you could hear wind coming through the windshield somewhere. I called and let them know and they booked me an appointment to check it out. They confirmed and made another appointment to re-do the job. Everything was done well the second time. Only complaint I have is I wish they could've checked the windshield and corrected any faults the same day. read more

They had to order the window. I got a call Friday afternoon and by Sat morning my window was better than new. The price was fair and the service was fast. I brought our company big rig in to have the back window replaced. At first I was told by the truck leasing company that they wouldn't be able to do anything until after 1pm. I went to drop it off that morning and arrived about 9am. I was greeted by Lupe and Freddie and was told to wait a few minutes and let's see what the tech can do for you. 5 minutes later he stated they would start working on my truck in 20-30 minutes. Not even 15 minutes later a tech had started the job and finished in about 45 minutes! Great job to all those involved!! Wont take my vehicles anyplace else!! read more

Very reasonably priced. Beat the prices of competitors. Customer service was good, as well. They had appointments within a reasonable time frame. Didn't have same day appointment, but that wasn't an issue for us. Loved that they came to us to install the windshield. The installer was professional. They gave us a time window of when they were coming. We asked for them to call us when they were 30 min out, which they did so we didn't have to sit around for the entire time waiting. They overcharged us for the windshield. We called to inform them and they rectified it immediately. We appreciated their fast action to fix it. Overall the experience was great! read more

My windshield was the victim of a semi truck and freeway debris, so I called Don's Mobile glass. They came to my work, took a look and determined that it needed to be replaced. That was about 2pm. By 4pm someone called and said they could fix it as early as the next day. We scheduled it for the following Monday and Ryan Bell came out to do the replacement. He was courteous, kind and professional and got the job done quickly (under an hour)! I have nothing but good things to say about DMG and will use them in the future. read more

I called first thing this morning to schedule an appointment. I spoke to Maria who gave me an appointment window of 1-4. Today is Saturday so I was not too happy to stay home and waste my day off. I deceided I need my windshield to be strong for the commute next week so I stayed home and cleared the DVR out. I get a call at 330pm telling me the tech was running behind and would be here at 530. Lo and behold i go outside at 5pm and there is a door knob hanging thing saying sorry we missed you. WTF you didnt miss me and Maria said you were gonna call when you were on your way here but no call and I still have a big freaking chip in my windshield that no one else can fix till monday. I reached out to this business several times to have a part ordered for my screen door at the request of Milgard. They receptionist was clueless on how to order the part and I had to call her several times to find out if they had ordered the part. Finally o gave up when I called for the 5th time in a week and she had no clue of who to contact in the warehouse to ask if they could order the part. She wanted to give me the number to the warehouse so I could ask. The worst customer service. Follow up: I received a call from the manager Ryan since I posted this review earlier today. He was very apologetic about the mishap I've been through the last three weeks. He reassured me this is not how his company runs it's office and he should have been notified when the receptionist didn't know who to contact. I had a windshield chip repaired. The guy was pleasant and professional. He fixed the chip, but took an extra step to fix an issue with roof rail that was loose do to the last time I had my windshield replaced by another company. He didn't need to take that extra step, but he did which was so nice. The only reason I gave Don's Mobile Glass 4 stars instead of 5.......tried to schedule weekend appointment, but they were only available the following week. I was frazzled & just wanted to get things taken care as soon as possible. I was greeted by a very kind young lady. I called for a quote gave the specifics of the measurements and when I arrived with my screen they said that they didn't have a record of the quote and it was going to be twice as much. I would have had the screen brought somewhere else but I had to have it transported as it would t fit in my car. I was given a date of completion of 7-10 business days. I called today as it has been two weeks and was told it will be at least another week. "We are very busy". I said that I understand but shouldn't the jobs be first in and first out and she only said "It will be at least another week, we will call when it is ready". Horrible customer service read more

Excellent service from the get-go! My BMW 640i Grand Coupe suffered a cracked windshield. I debated on whether to take my vehicle to the dealership for the windshield to be replaced (I don't trust just anybody with my car), but decided to try Don's Mobile Glass instead, because of the convenience of being in Manteca, close to my workplace. My car was broken into while at work the other night and even though they didn't steal anything (there was almost nothing in the car, I just had it detailed) they did break the window in the process. I searched "best mobile glass repair" online and dons came up. I called them first to get a quote and after calling the next two in line after to see if I could find a lower estimate (both were almost $50 more) I called back dons to see when they could come out. To my surprise they came out almost immediately and before my lunch break my window was repaired and the installer even vacuumed out the old glass. Other then making a few phone calls its almost like it never happened. Any time anything of yours gets stolen or broken into there's always a feeling of violation, it was really nice having to not see any clue that it ever happened. Thanks guys! read more

Im not from manteca but i came across dons because they had a partnership with tracy nissan which by the way is one of the worst dealer ships I've ever had to deal with but thats besides the point long story short they did my windshield work with tracy while my car was under warranty but then tracy nissan ended the warranty and the windshield seal or molding was still broken tracy nissan told me theres nothing we can do i fought them tooth and nail then they told me well we didn't even fix ur car we had this technician from Don's Mobile Glass come out and do it so i called them and explained the situation and made an appointment when i arrived i was greeted with a smile and my problem was taken into consideration by multiple people as we all conversed about the situation and how tracy nissan pretty much stiffed me and the manager assured me that im in good hands and they got me all taken care of fixing the windshield problem.
