I LOVE THIS TERIYAKI!!! This Teriyaki is so yummy! BTW this is not a restaurant it is a Teriyaki food truck. I always get #1 with all rice, which consist of a good size portion of Teriyaki chicken and white rice this plate usually comes with a "salad" its just a few pieces of lettuce so I always just ask for all rice, it's pretty cheap $3.80 for #1. I really like the Teriyaki from here because of the Teriyaki sauce its not to watery nor too sweet its just right. What to know about Don's: BRING CASH! I didn't hate the teriyaki from here. It was actually pretty good. The fact that it came from a truck made it that much better. The macaroni/potato salad was amazing and may find myself going there just for that. However, this truck is closely located near Tokyo Grill which I think tastes a lot better. (They have that flame grilled taste as opposed to this trucks plain grilled taste) But that's just me. If I ever have a major teriyaki craving while Tokyo Grill is closed this is a really good replacement. So all in all this place is pretty good. So good in fact that the lady who drove into the parking lot after us seriously just parked as close as she could to the truck (making up her own parking spot) jumped out of her car like it was on fire and quick walked the rest of the way to ordering window of the truck just to be first in line. I absolutely love Don's Teriyaki! I've been going since they first opened and the food is really good. I would give them 5 stars but over the years the prices keep going up and the portions are getting smaller! I totally get inflation and the food is totally worth the trip and price but not if the portions continue to get smaller. I ordered the No. 6. Combination Chicken & Beef served on a bed of rice. Comes with macaroni pasta & potato salad (no onion for those that don't like it) and iceberg lettuce salad. Lots of people coming in and out ordering from the truck. Outside table if you want to sit. This is Near (right before) Don's Liquor Store & in front of Autozone. I rather take to go if I do eat here, this reminds me of a nicer Yoshinoya type food. Not the best but good for the money and to fit that Yoshi or Teriyaki craving. I was surprised I found out that there was teriyaki truck in Wilmington! Their chicken teriyaki is so good! Their bowls are $3.80. The 3 combo plate with beef and chicken teriyaki and kalbi ribs is pretty good, but I prefer chicken over their beef and ribs. The only con is that they sometimes give you less teriyaki than expected and they charge for hot sauce, boo. Oh, and they only accept cash! read more

Oh Don's has been around for a while now, and I love how close it is to where I live (well when I visit home lol!) The food is great, and my favorite is their mac salad!!! A friend of mine invited my family to join her family for lunch here. The food was okay, but I just wasn't comfortable hanging out at a parking lot off of the hustle and bustle of PCH. I always order the beef plate.Its delicious! you guys should try it when you get a chance!.One thing I do not recommend is getting extra beef or chicken unless you get it on the side because they are very greedy when it comes to it and you can barely tell if they even added the extra you paid for.After a couple of times of feeling ripped off I kept my eye on the cook and noticed the cashier handing him back my food and telling him i paid for extra (the cashier most likely seen me paying attention to the cook) to my surprise he added the smallest portion I have ever seen in my life it wasn't even considered as "extra" in my eyes.that was the last time I paid for more beef on my plate other then that the food they serve is good. read more

I had Dons before in Wilmington and now they are open on the weekends in San Pedro on Pacific and Sepulveda. I had the teri beef and chicken plate that came with potatoes and salad. Im crippled, I was hurt in a car accident. So my wife buys me food here once in a while. Last few times it was burned. My wife bought me food, it was late, so I took the food back the next day. She works and I have to walk with a cane and its very hard for me to get around. I told the girl charging, it was burned. So she turns and tells the chinese man or whatever he is. And he starts insulting me. This is old! Why didnt u bring it yesterday. I showed him my cane and told him like 3 or 4 times do u see how I am. Then he tells me again I should have brought it yesterday it was too old. He was so angry. And I told him u have to give me non burned food so this shit doesnt happen and I dont have to come and tell you in the first place. He was so mad. And I was being nice about it at first. Till he got all mad. Then I just told them just refund me my money. She practically threw the money in my hands. They lost me as a customer and I hope many people see this and don't go eat there. And dont bother telling them your food is burned. You will get yelled at. And you guys pay to get this removed, ill just keep posting it. read more

This place has some really good teriyaki. I kept hearing about this place being really good, so I decided to check them out. Its not a very fancy place but its a truck which is ok with me. They have several combination plates and price ranges. From $4 to $9. Their ribs are fantastic as well as the chicken. Their macaroni is awesome and you get a jalapeno with your food. They are in a liquor store parking lot so if you want a drink you just walk a couple steps over to Dons Liqour and buy your drink. Their parking is ok not usually full but they often have a line to order your food. They do have a couple tables and chairs in front of the truck in case you want to eat there. I have found my new teriyaki place. Its close to home and I dont have to go to L&L in Carson or Ono's in San Pedro to get some good Teriyaki. Check them out. You will not be disappointed. Even my mechanic likes coming here and he often recommends Dons Teriyaki to his customers. read more
