This independent donut shop gets five stars given the wide selection they offer (buttermilk,old fashioned and plain cake). From the classics, basics to sprinkles, frosted, filled and fancy fritters this place even has a 8 gluten free choices. Regular doughnuts are $1.99 and vegan, gluten free and fancy ones are $3.50 each. This is the perfect dessert stop after grabbing a meal nearby.

What a great place! Stopped in after Pho (Nextdoor), and wow! Shop is super nice, display is wonderful and the people here are so incredible. Greeted like a friend or family, they are quick and ready to make donut dreams come true. I got 2 chocolate cream, old fashioned and a glazed for around $8, that's a great price! And, while not a everyday donut consumer, I'd say at least 15-20% bigger than other shops. And quality is top tier. Travels very well, no glaze melt or stuck together. The gentlemen even threw in some, like more than 4-5), big glazed donut holes for FREE! While I'm not saying this is standard here, I think he knew I was a first timer--what a class act. Skip the lines and high prices at more trendy places, this is the spot if you're local.

First time coming in and he gave us a free donut with out dozen piece order. Loved the variety of donuts they had, got a hot chocolate, they also hid cold chocolate milk, and strawberry milk, and gluten free options available for donuts!! Very friendly and clean, feels like a family run donut shop.

Not sure why this place has such a high rating... I was looking for donuts in the area and I saw this place had 4.5 stars so I was eager to try them. I walked in and it looked okay and smelt like a donut shop so I grabbed a chocolate and a glazed twist. I could instantly tell they were old just by the stiffness of the donuts when I grabbed the bag from the guy.. I took and a bite and yea.. these donuts have to be at least two days old if not more. They're stiff, not very flavorful, and all around a poor experience. Extremely disappointed. Don't trust the 4.5 star rating. Not sure who they're paying to leave good reviews but they're lying to you. Hopefully they realize selling old donuts is bad for business and just all around lazy. If you are going to sell day old donuts have them on a separate rack, let the person know they are older donuts, and reduce the price so at least there's transparency. -10000 Aura ..

I came here about 5 years ago and wasn't super satisfied with my donuts. Came by again today to give them another try. Staff is absolutely incredible. They are amazing no questions asked. However the two cake donuts I had were just so sickly sweet. It tasted almost chemical like, and we took one bite without being able to finish them. Now I want ti preface this by saying, old fashioned are my favorite and that's pretty much all I order. So the other donuts could very well be amazing. However the ones I got were just way too sweet and it made me feel a bit sick from all the sugar. The coffee was great though and was very welcome after the sugar bomb. Will update another time if I try other donuts, but for me it's not anything to rave about.

Donuts made daily to ensure freshness. Lots of different options, like red velvet donuts, apple and blueberry fritters, but my fav might have been the maple bar. The owner is very very kind as well and im glad to support this local business. Will be back again! read more

We tried the cinnamon rolls, which are rolled like cinnamon rolls, but made with yeast donut dough and frosted with donut glaze. This is a brilliant concept! (Kinda like the cronut, but cinnutmon doughlls? Not quite as catchy.) The donut dough makes it nice and light (not greasy), but still pretty filling since it's the same volume as 2-3 regular donuts. They had regular, chocolate, and maple; the last 2 also had slivered almonds on top. I finished one the next day, and it was still pretty soft and fresh-tasting. Awesome! A legit donut place in Beaverton! Upon walking in, we were greeted by the nicest guy Abbas and found he was the owner. The selection is great and and it was nice to see new creative donuts as well. I tried one with bananas and walnuts with a honey or caramel drizzle and it is probably my new fave! I want to start off by saying that donuts are the sweet that I always can't help but cave into.. I've been to quite a few donut sports in Portland, Tigard and Beaverton but the donut king is hands down the best. You can learn a lot about a donut spot by eating a classic glaze. These guys hit it right on the head when it comes to the thickness, the texture of the dough and the sugar ratio. I'm not hating on the other spots out here, but this one is truly the king! read more

Ordered the 3 fancy and 3 regular donuts. DoorDash delivery. Honestly, the only one I'd get again was the cinnamon roll. The ratio of icing to donut was way off. I hate to be like that but a huge airy donut or a thick cakey donut that has a tiny amount of icing on it just isn't super satisfying. Picture looks like there's more icing on the sprinkled one then actually is. Cinnamon roll was really good, moist and the maple icing was fantastic. read more

So I'm hilariously picky when it comes to donuts but Donut King absolutely hits the spot. Their yeast donuts are perfectly fluffy and light with just the right amount of glaze or sugar. Their buttermilk bar is fabulous and has the perfect balance of flavours and sweetness. The apple fritter is stellar as well! Overall, I adore that they're simple but flavourful and I can't wait to pick up more donuts. read more

Donut king has some dope donuts. The location is not the best so you can simply drive by and miss the shop entirely. The sign by the road doesn't serve them justice either as it is faded and it takes a good eye to read it. I was cruising by to pick up some Thai food and decided to get a few donuts. The owner was there to greet me and we had a good conversation. He even offered me to try a favorite donut of his free of charge. This is some good donuts and on top of that, it's a local business. I will be coming back for more! Always support local businesses and i hope they stay afloat during these rough times. read more

I ordered a dozen for Mother's day through doordash. They arrived in no time at all. Absolutely terrific donuts, looked beautiful and fresh. Very tasty not too sweet. Honestly the best donuts I've ever had. I'm normally not a big donut fan as most places you get them they're all the same. Here, they're the right level of fluff, while having great flavor that really pops! On top of that, fast, friendly service that never skips a beat. Top notch! Small businesses need community support and this is a great spot. Only a year old, but continue to order from here to ensure it stays around for decades to come! read more

I wanted to like this place but the guy serving this morning was slimy about my order. I asked for 2 dozen donuts, but not realizing there are "standard" and "premium" - so naturally he packed 2 doz of the most expensive without clarifying the pricing. so the order was $50 and he was miffed that I did not tip. I really felt fleeced. And honestly, the one donut I ate (a premium old fashioned bar with glaze) was meh and I tossed it without finishing it - the glaze was overdone and mushy in the creases. As the British Bake Off says - not worth the calories. Won't be going back. read more

Who knew you could get donuts in the middle of the afternoon? I stopped by this local spot mid afternoon to check the selection & was pleasantly surprised to see the displays full of Amazing donuts. Donut King is phenomenal!!! Mr. Abbas, the owner, helped me figure out what to get. He was patient and very friendly! I was impressed with how organized and clean the establishment is. The donuts are fresh, delicious, and jumbo-sized! They are not too pricey and quality is great! They were a little too sweet for my taste but I enjoyed them paired with Donut King coffee. This will be my new go-to place for donuts! As good as/ better than many of the over-priced donut places in the Portland/ Beaverton area in my opinion. read more

Walked in to get some donuts... didn't think at first we were in the right place.... Owner... amazingly nice! We got hot fresh glazed donuts from him. You can tell people who love their business and work hard to be front facing and serve their community. As a business owner myself, this is a great place. Highly recommend them. read more

Visited Donut King for the first time today. I had a favorite donut spot back in California, but hadn't found one in Beaverton since we moved. I finally found it! The donuts are delicious! We tried several different flavors and they were all amazing. The owner served us and was incredibly friendly. Great customer service! This will 100% be my go to donut spot from now on! read more

FINALLY!! A good donut shop with friendly service and super clean and modern on the inside. I am not from Oregon and I have tried several donut shops in the area and I just couldn't figure out why the donuts were not soft and chewy with tasty frostings that don't look like a mess. I also feel the other donuts shops are not very (kid) friendly In Oregon considering EVERYONE is super friendly in this state. Donut king is not the closest donut shop but is definitely the donut shop of choice. Worth the drive! read more

Finally came in here today, the owner is super nice and helped make suggestions, we were going to eat thai food next door so we only got half a dozen. I got a cinnamon donut a powder donut, chocolate with peanuts, buttermilk bar and a blueberry fritter and a bear claw. When i told the owner it was my first time here he let us get a free donut! I got a cherry fritter and it was bomb. If you like fritters you need to please check this place out cuz the blueberry fritter was also amazing. My favorite donut was the powder donut, iv had powdered donuts at many places and they are never any better then the kind at your local grocery store, this one WAS! definitely will be coming back. read more

My favorites are: Kare pan: House made beef curry inside of a deep fried donut coated with panko. I don't understand how it's possible for this creation to remain crispy even though it's stored at room temperature instead of the more usual warming lamps. The curry is thick and has generous chunks of beef and vegetables. The bread isn't really "donut" per se since that brings to mind something sweet with a tender crumb. It's more of a fried bread dough that's deliciously chewy. Bacon and blue cheese mini epi: Épis de Blé is a bread that looks like a sheaf of wheat that is very similar to a baguette. Their take has a chewier crumb and crust instead of a shattering crispy outside as with a traditional bread of this type. The cheese and bacon make this such a luxurious bread. They don't use the shelf stable bacon; they use the good stuff so it adds a great texture to the bread. It's not heavy in blue cheese flavor, so even though I don't like blue cheese, I still adore this bread.

Glaze to donut ratio was perfect, good flavors, some great shaping techniques as well as some fun Littles. They have the little milks and juices to accompany your treats which is a hallmark sign of the thoughtfulness of a good shop (think biscuits with no drink... you're gonna suffer without some good liquids for your donuts!!). The littlest wild baby creature even got to practice his manners upon receiving a fresh donut hole perfectly sized for his little bear paw. The employee listed three different pricing tiers, but while she was helping me load the boxes -- each with 12 donuts that we counted together -- she never mentioned that certain "premium" donuts wouldn't be included in the dozen price. What doesn't make sense is why she would fill boxes of 12, count them toward a dozen, and mix in those premium donuts among the regular ones if they weren't actually going to be charged as part of the dozen. It was misleading and confusing -- especially since the donuts were spread throughout four boxes of 12, not separated or labeled differently. If certain donuts don't qualify for the dozen discount, that should be stated clearly before loading them in as part of a dozen. Handling it this way feels unethical and shady. The donuts themselves are fine, but the experience left a bad taste. I won't be returning.
