a display of donuts in a bakery

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my dessert from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is incredibly tiny. I usually avoid parking in this tiny parking structure because there are so many terrible drivers who don't pay attention in this parking lot. I usually just park on the street and walk over. Plus, the parking spots are a bit small and tight. Food: I ordered a chocolate glazed donut. Perfect breakfast food with my Starbucks coffee. It was just the right pick me up that I needed at 6am. The donut was soft, fluffy, and mouthwatering. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, and courteous. They accept cash.

I love going to this place with my younger cousins, the price is decent and their ham and cheese is so good !!! Their donuts holes are amazing with an iced coffee.

On the way to Santa Anita Mall, we got hungry, so we found Donut King on Yelp and stopped for a couple of donuts. I got a glaze twist ($0.85) and my friend got a chocolate raised ($0.85). My donut was good, light, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed it very much, then felt guilty afterwards. haha. When we went to Donut King, it was around 9:45am, so there weren't too many donuts in the display. I would imagine if you want the fresh, fresh donuts, then you should buy them much earlier in the day (like when the sun is barely out). Xie Xie!

$0.90 for a plain glazed yeasted donut! Money well spent. My donut was super soft and pillowy on the inside, but somehow more substantial than other yeasted donuts I have eaten. The glaze was sweet, but not cloyingly so. This store doesn't have super fancy offerings, but this is a solid place to get your donut fix.

Of course, I also grabbed a couple of my favorites: creme brulee and maple bacon are always a must. I only picked up one of their new blueberry donuts, and after the first bite, I immediately regretted not buying more. Perfectly sweet, bursting with blueberry flavor, and that moist, cake-like texture..A+. The service was just as great as the food. The only employee working was super perky and helpful, and the shop has added some awesome new merch since my last visit (loving the look and feel of their white hoodies!). As I type this review, I'm already jittery from its sugar rush. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 50 Cent additional fee for card.) I arrived at KC Donuts (San Gabriel) on a Monday (around 6:35AM). Parking is available in a cramped lot or the nearby neighborhood. I chose neighborhood parking since it's easy to find a spot. Staff is professional, friendly, and welcoming. Staff worked hard. And Staff promptly answered all my questions. On ambiance, KC Donuts (San Gabriel) is spacious for a donut spot. There's also plenty of tables, and there's a couple bottles of hand sanitizers for customers. It's also fairly clean. This popular location had a steady flow of morning customers. Overall, I had a very good experience at KC Donuts (San Gabriel). There is a tasty KICK to their goods, and I can easily see how someone who's craving sugar would immediately choose this location. 4.7 out of 5

So , today was my first rodeo here and I have to say : amazing. customer service is so nice and their sandwiches & juices ? AMAZING. The hype & rave my coworkers give this place lives up to it. I ordered 2 turkey sandwiches (about $10 each) 3 green juices ($6 each) (A3, the order number of the juice because they have more than 1 green juice) , 1 red juice ($6, this one has like carrot, beets, and some other veggies but I forgot) , and 1 box of a dozen donuts ($17) all for around $60ish. I love the bread that they use on the sandwiches, not sure if they make it in house but it is definitely not just store brought bread at a market. And everytime I drink their juice i definitely feel good internally, it's like my body likes it. You can see them press the juices in house! The place itself has limited parking space I would say and the interior is definitely mom & pop shop vibes but those are the best places ! I would definitely recommend as well as try their tuna sandwiches because I've heard they're delicious!

The Ube Banoffee with Pecan Crust caught my eye, so I decided to get a slice to try for myself. My husband wasn't able to try since he has a nut allergy, but glad he couldn't share with me cause I devoured it on my own lolz I like how it wasn't too sweet and the ube wasn't too overwhelming for me cause ube isn't a favorite flavor of mine. I love the fresh bananas combined with the caramel and ube halaya with the cream on top and the pecan crust. It was very light and a good treat to snack kn as we waited for our other meal we ordered in the market to be prepped. Can't wait to give their other treats a try when we are in the area!

There is also plenty of parking in the back of the food hall. Will definitely come back!

Donuts, drinks, sandwiches were great. Cronuts not so much.. I've been really craving a cronut lately, many donut shops don't make them anymore. And saw that they still make them and only have a limited amount before they sell out everyday. It would be best to call to see if they have any left before making you way there if that is what you're looking for specifically, which I was. The recent photos of their cronuts looked so good from other people and sadly that wasn't what I got when I stopped by on a Friday morning around 9am. They have a list of filling you can choose from. I chose Custard, wasn't too sweet and just as expected. Cronut itself was almost like a sliced white bread texture- not much layers like a croissant, not really flaky or buttery.. Glaze on the outside was very very sweet and too thick it created a crust.

And my Alhambra neighborhood go-to is Mr Good's, a no-frills bakery off Valley that shares a strip mall with an aquarium store and a small-operation law office. The doors open at 5AM daily, as the brusquely efficient elderly owners load trays into the display case and grab your selections with a transactional lack of warmth or courtesy. In the early morning, the bright fluorescent lights feel particularly oppressive. Stainless steel chairs are pushed up against 2 wooden laminate tables, and the remaining counter space is littered with old appliances, pink takeout boxes, and other knick-knacks. The poorly lit donut display is filled only with the most traditional varieties -- the apple fritter and cinnamon roll are the edgiest options. Chinese pop music plays, interrupted intermittently by crackling feedback and newscasts from the tiny flatscreen television behind the counter. A consistent trickle of regulars arrive to dine in and take out during the weekday earlybird service. When I arrived about an hour into opening, I was surprised to find that not all donuts were yet available -- specifically, I was left without any maple or chocolate-frosted options. Instead, I settled on a plain glazed raised donut and an apple fritter. The still-warm ring was anything but "plain", and it sported a pleasantly even, melt-in-your-mouth glaze and an excellently light texture. In contrast, the warm fritter was bogged down by grease and butter; despite occasional apple chunks, the flavor was overwhelmingly cinnamon-y and one-dimensional. My two donuts ran me $3.60, cash only. While I might not get the fritter again, the fresh, plain glazed was an unequivocal winner. I see Mr Good's as an occasional on-the-go joint for those hoping to eschew bland chains, but without the bandwidth to trek out to LA's donut heavyweights.
