Donuts are great but the guy that's there in the morning, don't know if he's the owner or not, is not friendly. He never smiles or makes any kind of conversation, just looks at you impatiently like you're bothering him. I always feel like he's annoyed that I came in and it really makes me want to avoid spending my money here. I stopped at Donut Tyme this morning to pick up 2 1/2 dozen donuts to drop off at my son's school for his birthday. The lady that helped me was so incredibly nice and patient and when she found out it was for my son's birthday, she gave me a special donut for him and a few extra donuts which was so sweet of her! My husband gets donuts from here once in a while and has always told me that they were really good. However, this is the first time I've been able to try it myself and they are delicious!! The dough is so soft and literally melts in your mouth. I'm so glad I decided to get donuts here and I'll definitely come back. I always love the mom and pop donut spots but this place was amazing. Greeted by a very friendly woman right when I walked in. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and she offered to warm it up for me. I also ordered a hot tea which was piping hot, perfect for this 45° weather. I get to my car to eat on my break and there's 4 donut holes in the bag with my croissant! What a sweet surprise. I've lived in the Jurupa Valley area for a majority of my life, after moving and returning earlier this year I was happy to see this donut shop still here. The family is the absolute best, the customer service is exceptional. Having frequented the place a few times, both mother and daughter know my favorite donut. This last experience is what prompted me to write a review. My favorite donut was out (maple old fashion) the owner quickly took an unglazed old fashion and went to the back and glazed it with maple for me. I'm big on supporting family owned business and this little donut shop happens to be one of them. Most people would consider this as a hole in the wall but with low prices, great selection of donuts, croissants, pastrys and even drinks, you can't go wrong. There is a large variety of donuts with several different designs which vary from glazed, sugary, chocolatey, cream filled and the list goes on. My favorite donut is the sprinkle donuts. It is soft, airy and in a sense taste like a mini cake. It's addicitng. Unlike chains, I am always welcomed anytime I stop and make a visit here. There are several regulars that come to this donut shop so the owners already know their orders as soon as they stop in. In my opinion, this is one of the best donut shops. The prices are very cheap, the selection is nice and staff is pretty great. read more

Your typical donut shop... except the lady charged us an extra 25cents because she said we took a long time to order! After telling us she was going to charge us an extra quarter, she said she'd "give us 1 donut for free".... Um thanks but ALL donut places do that when you order a dozen so this is not anything special. We were in there for maybe six minutes and we were the only customers in the store. We were not indecisive while ordering and we didn't not ask any questions. It was about 10:30 am on a Saturday. We ordered a dozen to go and paid cash... not sure why she felt the need to charge us an extra fee. Won't be returning. read more

horrible customer service and they will overcharge your card! went in for a sandwich that cost $3.75 and was charged $6.50 on my debit card and given change in cash like if i had paid $5 cash, apparently they will give you cash to pay and charge $1.50 fee for that. if you're not paying cash beware, they will overcharge your card. called to ask why this happened and the girl who answered said she didn't know that she was just a worker there, no help whatsoever and was mad i was even questioning being charged $6.50. please avoid this place at all cost. they will scam you!!! read more
