Called for service at 11:30am and Mike, the tech was here at 2:30. I had the overhead spring on the garage opener replaced over 2 years ago and he said that it was defected and needed to be replaced. It would have been easy for him to give me the out of warranty bs but he said that the company was going to replace it at no charge as this part should be good for many years. Recently our Garage Door Opener failed. It was the original back to 2009. We have an Old Republic Home Warranty Policy from our purchase in 2022. ORHW attempted to deny our claim. Highly recommend Door Pros. We had a garage door spring break a few months ago and our technician Ismael said they should be replaced in pairs. I declined and said just replace the broken one. Well he was right and the other one broke three months later. Our door had a slight kink in the lower panel and thought that was causing the problem of the springs breaking and was ready to buy a whole new door. Luckily Ismael was sent as our technician again, and he thought our door was fine and said let me just replace the other spring and see how it operates. The door works perfectly and he gave me a five year warranty on both springs. It's refreshing to find an honest man who knows how to do his job. Our garage door was starting to slow when opening and then stopped during opening, thought we had to replace the motor. Door Pros came out the same day and Ismael was excellent, skilled, professional. Luckily we only had to replace broken springs but he also had good recommendations on other old components that needed replacing. Trustworthy and knowledgable. We bought a house a little over a year ago and have Door Pros stickers by our garage door from the previous owners. Anytime we have a question, we call and they have always been more than helpful. We recently had a bad experience with our home warranty and they did not assign us to Door Pros but since it was a simple fix, didn't insist on having them sent out (mistake) The other company didn't submit the claim and tried to charge us an insane amount to fix a small coupler. I called Chris at Door Pros who is extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We talked about the issue and she gave a fair price to come out and fix. I also told her what had happened with the other company and the dealings with the home warranty and she didn't understand how the claim would be denied either, other than the previous company giving an inaccurate report.
