Called them that afternoon and was told the estimator was off till Thursday and he would call then. Ok. No call. That afternoon I again called and was told he would call me because he makes his own appointments. No Call. Today is Monday and heard nothing. So, good luck! Arrived home on a Thursday night after work (with hungry kids in tow). Upon opening the garage door I heard a loud pop sound. One of the cables busted. I called Door Pros after normal business hours and a customer service rep was available to take my call. He was able to schedule a tech to come out first thing in the morning but also explained that an after hours tech could be dispatched for an additional fee if it were an emergency. Jacob arrived the next morning. He was very communicative, friendly, and professional. He assessed the issue immediately and provided tiered solutions without trying to upsell. We opted for a few extra items to increase the longevity of our very old garage. If you get Jacob you're in for a good trustworthy experience. We've had Door Pros come and fix both our garage door and my mother-in-laws and they did a phenomenal job! especially with our garage door in which we had a new opener installed. Likewise we had an excellent experience with having our screen sliders and large sliding doors serviced. Alex went above and beyond to make certain we were happy. Unfortunately with our large front ((entry) door. As well as a couple of interior doors that we wanted repaired or replaced. The tech came out spent about a half an hour taking measurements and drawing up a plan and then never came back or contacted us. I woke up this morning to find myself stuck in my garage after a large heavy duty spring in the door tracking mechanism broke and the door was too heavy to open manually. I submitted a service request to my home warranty company and was advised the job had been assigned to Door Pros. I called to see if they could send someone out the same day (Saturday) to help me at least get the door open even if the repair needed to be scheduled later. Chris and Tina were not only super friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to find my service request and were able to get James dispatched out within a couple of hours. Once again Door Pros returned to my home a gave me excellent service. A month ago they did a maintenance service on my garage door. At that time They/I knew my garage motor was over 20 years old...however I decided to wait until it went before replacement and they agreed at that time with no hard push/sale. My experience was not so good. The technician came out and said it was the springs that needed to be replaced which he did. Then he tells us the motor is bad - even though the motor was working when he started to replace the springs. I had to call another vendor (Avila's Garage Doors is awesome!) and he said there's nothring wrong with the motor. It likely just overheated with the first repair guy. So I'm out the original service fee with Door Pros plus the fee from vendor #2. Do not recommend. read more
