They also serve free chips and salsa. Brian, the owner was super nice and informed us that they have a Sunday brunch. Would love to check that out. My husband and I had a late night dinner at this spot and loved it! I was hungry so I forgot to take a picture before I dug into my meal and drinks but the mole enchiladas were amazing. He had the Molcajete and all of the meats were great as well. The chicken was juicy, the asada tender and the fish flaky and perfect! Came with co-workers for Happy Hour. We were hoping to do Karaoke too, however it is only on Friday nights. We enjoyed delicious food and drinks. I came for happy hour - the service was beyond excellent, I felt like I was treated like royalty. The food was insane. The chips and salsa were both quality but their tacos were phenomenal. Even though this place is called two friends, at the end of the night, this place was not my friend. This place has happy hour but it doesn't advertise it. You can find the menu on their website. However, the items for happy hour are very limited. Margaritas are $10 each. If you have a big group, then I recommend ordering the pitcher of margarita instead. Mango and strawberry flavored margaritas were really good. The passionfruit not so much. It lacked flavor. Now let's talk about the food. The chicken quesadillas and the tacos Al Gobernador were good. The asada fries were a bust. The fries were undercooked. Skip on the fries and stick with the chicken quesadillas or tacos. The food here is overpriced but at least you get chips and salsa when you sit down. Also, review your check before you pay. We got overcharged at this place. We ordered soup broth (no meat) with rice and we got charged for an order of albondigas. Plus an extra margarita. Overall, this place is okay. The food is great and flavorful, the father and sons along with the younger looking light Hispanic male have been wonderful. It's just need to work on expressing to your guest that (for an example) if you offer a margarita but you (bartender) offer ANY tequila, common sense or not, mention the prices may vary, along with switching out one domestic beer for another. I shouldn't have to be surprised why the bill is different than the menu price when it was never mentioned that the price will change. Nothing should be implied if you don't address it. Another thing, moving past the surprised checks, everyone needs to be on the same page about sides. I've ordered several door dashes and paying for sour cream on the side. It is currently $2.49, previously gotten an amazing half of an 8oz container my first 3 orders before my last one. My last 2x I ordered take out I realized I had my original sour cream that should naturally come with my order and a small 2oz of sour cream and salsa for the courtesy chips they give out. Rogelio and the female server that starts with an "E" had mentioned that it was in the bag. I had mentioned it was normally in an 8oz container and filled half way. Rogelio was adamant about the containers were always 2oz and I asked him, "this thing is worth $2.49?" He said "yes, look I can get you another one of the same size" and that's when that younger Hispanic male that just clocked in his shift and went into the back to ask the cooks for the 8oz side that I was referring to. I thanked him and walked out. My interaction with Rogelio really put a bad taste in my mouth, he was adamant he gave it to me when I recited to him the other sides naturally come with my order and expressed exactly what came with my order but he proceed to attempt to rip me off (implying he did it and doesn't need to give me the one im used to paying for) and "try to do me a solid" and offered another 2oz , but if I'm paying for extra then switching it up saying "we never sold sour cream in those containers", there was no need for him to be that prideful about sour cream because it felt like someone like him, representing the company, was cheaping out when it wasn't a bigger deal then. Now Im making it a big deal because it was a bad interaction and it could've been prevented. I really do enjoy the food but the lack of communication with suprise price differences and not properly listing on your take out orders what size are we paying for would've been nice and these interactions would've been prevented. I don't see myself coming back again. Consistency and communication is key. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! After a 5 day trip at Disneyland, we were on our way to the airport astarving and needed a spot where we could make a reservation on our way back to LAX. We were blown away by the incredible buffet--everything was absolutely delicious! From the posole and huevos rancheros to the ceviche and fresh fruit, every dish exceeded our expectations. It was hands down the best food we had during our five-day trip! The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!
