Sorry but what is this? I'm super bummed about this place. I was really looking forward to it, as it has very good reviews and has almost 5 stars. But $47.51! Are you serious? 4 tacos, a small chips and salsa, and 2 beers. I wouldn't mind paying that much for tacos ever if they were actually worth it. No toppings, what so ever. No lime on the beer or michelada. Do people not know what good food is anymore? The only reason this place isn't getting one star is because their salsa verde they have out is absolutely delicious with such a good kick, im not talking about the salsa that comes with the chips n salsa. That one wasn't good. I'm talking about the salsa that is left out for people to grab a side of.

Fast casual place that definitely is worth the money! I've stopped by for a quick lunch after a long camping trip and the quesadilla is massive, and pretty affordable. You go to a counter and order your food where you pickup a number and they will call you. Anyways, for the food, the quesadilla is so good. The crust is so crunchy and the cheese is on point. Honestly, it was a godsend for anyone who loves cheese. There are options to pick additional fillings but you can't go wrong with any of them. The whole meal was hearty and definitely something to enjoy slowly given the portions are huge. Overall, just for the quesadilla I'd give it a 5/5.

I have been to Dos Batos oh so many times... for years I have been meaning to get around to writing a review, so here it is! Dos Batos has some of the tastiest tacos around. This is because the best tacos are the simplest ones, with incredibly complex flavors and this is what Dos Batos does best; simple food. The smoky wood-fired tacos here are juicy, tender, and fresh. The wood fired grill technique used here adds the flavor of mesquite to so many components on the menu. Whether it's the grilled peppers or salsa, the grill plays a critical role in all the flavor profiles here. The last go round this is what I had... Shrimp Hybrid Taco- This taco has light melted mozzarella cheese, sliced avocado, woodfired shrimp, onion and bell peppers. The combination of fresh ingredients is ideal for those who are seeking a hearty yet fresh taco. Charro Beans- A Tex Mex favorite, these pinto beans are tender and simmered in a flavorful bean broth seasoned with onion, garlic and bacon. Overall, this is a great place to get fresh food for a very reasonable price point. It should be noted that a wait should be expected here as the food is prepared fresh.

Queso was amazing. My food was pretty good, my partner liked her taco too. I wish the beef was a like more tender but I was very impressed with the flavor. The wood fired flavor really helps the taco. Everything here has from scratch too. The atmosphere here is really nice and open. I love the art work The staff are really friendly and the food comes out quick and hot. I'll be returning for the pastor and crane asada.

I cannot understand these reviews. Did our Uber eats driver pick up from some where else cause this was not good and extremely pricy. $12 for a taco! It said it was a big taco, it was not. Maybe they messed up and made us the smaller ones is all I can hope but I am not returning to find out. Also, I don't think these people have ever had a real torta. This was a weird meat in a stale hamburger bun situation. The meat flavor was pretty good but everything else was meh and it the portions were small and it was super expensive. A definite one and done.

So like many say, tacos are pricey ($6 for one) but let me tell ya, they don't shortchange you on ingredients. They stuff the tacos! And the tacos were really good. I enjoyed this place a lot. Friendly staff. I will be back!

Staff was friendly, and service was good. The interior was clean and spacious. However, the food was not very good. I ordered shrimp taco, a taco with a cheese, tortilla, nachos, and elote. My favorite was probably the shrimp taco. It had some good flavors, but it was a little bland, and the slaw didn't have much flavor as well. The cheese tortilla taco was as expected but I felt like it was bland also. The nachos were pretty good. There wasn't a lot of meat on it, but the other toppings were good. I wasn't a big fan of the smokiness of the Carnitas and I thought the queso was a little bland as well. Lastly, the elote was a little too watery for my taste and I feel like it could've used some lime. they have this hot sauce next to the counter and that sauce is so good. It is not very spicy although there's a sign that says it is but that sauce was probably the best thing out of everything I ate here. I am giving this place only three stars because strangely the food is just a little bland to me. That doesn't mean it isn't salty. The food is salty, but it lacks flavor.

This is my go-to when I either 1) have little time and feeling a little anti-social - because they're pretty fast! A good 1-2 pounding of tacos and going about your day kinda place 2) have no idea what to eat - you can never go wrong with them - I order two piratas and a topo chico and I'm good to go 3) craving wood-fired steak tacos (omg it's so tender and juicy) And let's face it, where else can you eat scrumptious tacos whilst a mural of a Mexican general strapped with ammunition and a Samurai stare you down suspiciously? I love how there are cherry blossoms and cacti in the background The restrooms are also nice and super clean at this place and the staff are the super sweet cherry on top

The space mixes art deco with a little bit of Spanish flair, tucked beside/adjacent to Mama Betty's. It's big, but arranged in a way that still feels cozy and social. The crowd? Late 20s to early 40s. Grown and attractive. Lively but not chaotic. Vibrant without being loud. Perfect for dressing up a little, socializing and lingering a little. We Ubered there, so I didn't get a full picture of the parking, but it seems like there may be a little parking garage or validated parking area? Maybe a pay for parking? I would read other reviews. Most of the staff? Fantastic. Professional, warm, funny. Our assigned waitress, however, gave off overwhelmed and low-energy. She was short with communication and it sort of dulled our sparkle for a moment, but the drinks and vibes quickly brought it back. Had we had another waitress, this place would have been a 10 out of 10. On to the drinks: Round one: espresso martinis (made with Tito's). Slightly sweet, bold, smooth, and very sippable. No coffee bean decorations on top, but full of flavor. No cream inside...sort of reminding you of a Black Russian. Served in a ribbed coupe glass. Round two: French 75s with Hendrick's. Punchy lemon flavor, a tad sweet, lower champagne notes but still giving French 75. Garnished with a dried lime slice instead of a lemon. Served elegant in those ribbed coupe glasses (which fit the aesthetic perfectly). The cocktails are well-crafted and intentional. They aren't overly boozy, but they are balanced, smooth and polished. Bathrooms? Immaculate. Unisex. Private stall rooms with their own individual doors. Efficient and modern. No long lines. Opportunity to mingle with the opposite sex in the bathroom if that suits your fancy. Foxtail feels like a good place to start a new chapter. We had good conversations and we enjoyed staying out just a little longer than we planned. Their Happy Hour (4:30-6pm weekdays) is officially on my radar for the future. I'll be back. I want this place to be routine. 9 out of 10.

This is a must get especially if you love warm and creamy stuff. The outside is nicely fried and if you never had it, it's similar to Japanese takoyaki. Although I love it a lot, the portion was just right for sharing because it really fills you up. We also got the potatoes (nice, but nothing that blew my mind) and chicken empanadas that I thought had a strange, sour taste. I wouldn't get that again. I highly recommend getting different tapas instead of the main courses so you can try different things. We were completely satisfied with the meal after getting these but still made room for the orange almond cake!! This was extraordinarily good!! Not too sweet and the cake has a nice moist texture-not dry. It took a while for food to arrive so service was a bit slow. You can also sit outside if you want but we sat indoors since it was chilly. It's a smaller restaurant so it's nice for an intimate meal or date. They have a bar. There's parking in the back, which is where the entrance is. Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
