To keep this concise: If you have the option of going to Dos Bros or another fast food spot, especially Chipotle, do not pick Dos Bros. Being used to Chipotle, the Dos Bros portions were so incredibly small. The bowls are shallower and they gave me barely any rice, chicken, or beans. I was expecting more but left disappointed. The bowl looked incredibly sad by the time I got to the toppings. They gave me barely any guac, but gave me lots of cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce to fill the bowl up more. The workers smugly stare at you as your smile fades and you realize you're being scammed right in front of your face. I bought 2 spicy chicken burritos. with what they called the brown rice. the rice was severly undercooked. I had to open up the burrito and use a spoon to eat everything but the rice. the portion of spicy chicken was not much. 24.95 for less than a handful of chicken from both burritos. They did say on the phone i could come back and they would remake them. long day of work out in the sun and I did not feel like driving back. I wanted to eat a delicious meal, shower and relax. Not to get anyone confused. This is the new location in Bartlett, IL at Rt.59 and Army Trail Rd. Update I received a call the next day explaining that the wrong type of rice was used, at least they are owning up to the mistake. read more

The food was fresh and flavorful. The portion sizes were great and they were not stingy when you asked for more of an item. They don't have all the additional charges for items as chipotle and it was more affordable. I will return and recommend to others. Compared to Chipotle, I would say this place is the real deal. Just come here. Ingredients are fresh and there was never a wait when I went. Friendly service and super reasonable pricing too! The portions are so generous that I had trouble finishing it sometimes when I ordered the vegetable. Literally when I order I asked for all the toppings I could get without extra fees and they piled it up, which made for a very hearty post workout meal on many occasions that I stopped by during my week-long trip to Chicago. Overall I would say the taste was more of 3.5, but I'm rounding up to a 4 because the location was nice and very clean, and the staff were quick and courteous as well. I ordered a chicken burrito with brown rice, black beans, and all of the works on top. While the taste is reminiscent of chipotle, I personally still prefer chipotle for burritos. Two of the issues were that 1. Half of the burrito had no chicken in it (the fillings were very unevenly distributed with half of the burrito being only rice and beans), and 2. overall the taste was more bland than I was expecting (too much rice and beans, and not enough of the other toppings to even that out). Since my last review, I have ordered dos bros a handful of times and have had zero complaints. My favorites are the carnitas quesadilla and steak burrito bowl. VERY SIMILAR TO CHIPOTLE... but BETTER. dos bros is definitely a step up in not only quality, but also service. They never miss pick up order notes! Also their queso is 10/10. Not a grainy texture like chipotles, dos bros queso is very smooth and full of flavor. Had delivery from the 2 Brothers tonight and I really enjoyed the food. Door Dash was super late with my order, so that was definitely disappointing, but let me tell you that my spicy tofu burrito arrived completely intact and in perfect condition. That's interesting, because like if you get pizza delivery and door dash is late, the pizza isn't going to be as good. But Dos Bros burritos worked out great. Speaking of the food, I loved the burrito!! I would say it's a lot like Chipotle, but better. I got the spicy tofu with almost all of the fillings. All good stuff. I think the queso found itself to one side of the burrito, and I was lucky that was the last side I ate. Ideally the ingredients should be spread evenly, but hey, nobody is perfect. I'd say the price of the burrito at $13 is high and that's the one drawback and the main reason I take 1 star off. I wonder if this is a temporary price adjustment up due to all the recent shortages of labor and supply chain or just the normal price. If they can reduce the price a bit, I could do this quite a bit more. Looking forward to my next dos bros. read more

I built my own burrito bowl and although everything was cooked well, it felt like it was missing seasoning and salt. This used to be a Veggie Grill. This started in Tennessee and this is the first one in the state. I Had the Spicy Tofu Burrito and Chips w/ Queso. The Lemonade is a little too sweet. I've eaten there twice now. Everything was delicious! They have lots of choices for toppings. I got the chicken bowl and it was huge. I had brown rice, pico, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. These guys rock! I hate calling this place a copycat chipotle, because this place is so much better than Chipotle. You are guaranteed to like this place if you already like the fast-casual Mexican places. They deserve more recognition and people need to stop going to Chipotle for weak portion sizes, to a place that wouldn't hesitate to make sure your burrito or bowl is loaded up. If you want overpriced salty food and the worst customer service, than this is the place to go. I had ordered food for a party of 30 and was told that I would receive two trays of meat with all of the sides and instead I received 1 and 1/4 tray of meat. When I called to ask for the rest of the food that I had paid for I was told I missed understood. My son was present when I placed the order and listened to the entire conversation, confirmed that we where promised two trays of meat but I guess my son miss understood as well. I'm so glad this place finally opened up! I ordered takeout recently and had a great experience. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and helpful. You can tell that the management is trying to make a positive name for themselves in the neighborhood. As for the food, I got a spicy chicken bowl with allllll of the fixings. Do not go to this Dos Bros. They are unethical and liars and terrible the way the treat their customers. We were treated extremely poorly while in the store and when we got home with our food it was all wrong. When I called back the "manager" to express the situation, assuming we would be refunded and taken care of, the woman literally blamed us for the order arguing with me that it was right and I was wrong. I had to tell her straight up, so are you really blaming us and calling me a liar? Why would I call them if the order was right? They refused to give me a refund even when I said I will send over pictures as proof. When I finally got them to see reason, she rudely said the only way I will get a refund is if I bring the tacos back into the store even though I have pictures and a receipt to show my order. I do not want to go back to the store, we are already home and that's once again inconvenient to us for a mistake that is not our fault. Unacceptable and terrible customer service. As a side note, While we were in there as well picking up the order, the lady I spoke to was rude the entire time. Best quick and easy Mexican restaurant in Chicago. The employees are proficient at order assembly and my burrito is wrapped exactly the same and perfect every time.
